I had high hopes for this series only to be let down with disappointment

Okay, this is not going to be a long review. Just quick and to the point.

Story-6/10
I binge watched the first four episodes and...I liked them. The remaining four, I watched while they were airing and maybe that's the reason why I didn't enjoy it, I guess? (Besides the storyline loosing my interest as it progressed).

There were some scenes that I was not comfortable with. Like everyone just forcefully kissing Daonuea. That just wasn't cool at all. I would also like to add although I didn't like the character of Typhoon in the beginning, I felt that he shouls have gotten a happy ending as well.

I also felt that none of the characters were developed well, which really didn't add anything to the story.

Acting/Cast- 5/10
Unfortunately, no one really wowed me. It was just okay-ish. And i guess since I actually like the four episodes in the beginning due to me binge watching them, I will give thier acting a 5.

Music-8/10
The music is the only good and decent thing about this series. So for that, I will give a 8.

Rewatch Valu-3.5/10
I honestly do not see myself coming back to this series. Heck, I gotta come back to watch what ia foing to happen Daonuea's brother- Khaufah. I may wait for that series to complete or nearly complete before I decide to give that a go.

Overall-5.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 5.5/10. And I am so disappointed because it really did start off good and I was so invested in it. I just don't know what happened as it progressed.

A cute heratfelt comedy series that did have flaws

I started this series six days ago and waited patiently for the finale. I will say this- when I started it, I didn't expect to fall for the characters as I was a bit weary in watching it. Yes, for me personally, the series had some flaws. But I still found it enjoyable and loved it!

Story-8/10
I am giving this series an eight. Due to these reasons. Firstly, I felt from episodes eight to ten, something with the editing was a bit off and it didn't make the series flow properly. Secondly, what they did with Bam's character- that was not necessary and needed. And finally (and this is not thier fault), when I watch a series that I truly adore, I always get some kind of feelings. Unfortunately, that did not happen with this series- like at all. But all in all, I liked the story.

Acting/Cast-8.5/10
I liked how everyone acted, actually. My all time fav is Duean and Meen. I loved every minute that they were on the screen and I hope those actors are given more roles. I will most definitely support them.

Music-10/10
The music was most definitely the best part of this series. And then when I went and checked and saw who sang the opening and closing OST- I was floored. I feel in love with the music from the first episode. They really did a great job there.

Rewatch Valu-8/10
I liked this series. However, I am not that eager to rewatch it anytime soon. And if I do rewatch it, it may just be the bits of Duean and Meen (not lying here!)

Overall-8.5/10
Overall I give this series an 8.5/10. While it did have some flaws, I did enjoy it and yeah- I would recommended it to people who want to watch a heartfelt comedy BL series.

I surprisingly enjoyed it

Disclaimer

What I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this movie. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a better score and why it is better than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.

Let me start by saying that this series was not on my radar to watch. However, I have been away for a short period ( 1 month), and I decided to watch this series. I am glad that I did, as I must say, I did enjoy it. I felt that William and Est did a good job here, as this was their first leading series. I liked some of the other main actors ( Lego, Hong and Nut) and some of the supporting characters ( Sammy and Drake) more than them, though, at times. I have watched previous series that dealt with singers, but this one dealt with the side that I know Kpop fans live in when someone from your fave group starts dating, what would be the outcome? It is a sad truth that these idols do apologise for just dating someone that they like and for just living their lives. So, it was sad seeing that in this series.

I must say that for sure, hands down, that Pemika was the villain of this story as I got so pissed off when I saw her as she was only trying to better the company and did not care for the boys (although it did seem at a time that she did). She is a strong contender for me for villain of the year.

I did enjoy this series while some parts I did not fully believe (these boys are big stars and no one is rushing them when they are walking in the open or sitting down there with no disguises on?!!) or not like (Earn could kick some rocks). All in all, I would recommend this series, especially if you are a fan of idols as they may go through some of the things that Mars did in this series.

Law vs. Love

Oh! This was a good series! I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did because I approach these shows free from everything, ignoring what everybody says and forming my own opinion about it, as sometimes I can get disappointed when people call a series a masterpiece and then...it's not. This was not the case.

The series drew me in from the beginning with the storyline and the amazing actors. The chemistry was felt from the two main actors from the get-go, and it wasn't cheesy as seen in most of the Thai BL's. I was more flabbergasted and awestruck by the flirting, if I must say so. It had me getting little jolts of surprises here and there (especially in episode three with two of the supporting characters), and if you can do that, then you know that the series is good.

The funny thing is before them telling me WHO was doing the murders (when you can tell it was not the doctor), I already figured it out. Usually that's something that turns me off, as there really is no more mystery left. But here in this series, the way that they showed us how it was this individual was unique, I guess, as it still was able to keep me here. I also wanted to know the personal reason for doing these murders. Only one thing passed me, and it was one of the supporting characters and who she really was in the story. And that was one of the plus things for me, as sometimes I am confused in these mystery dramas and don't know who did it until the end when I am being told who it was.

Now, it was the last episode that really got to me. I actually thought that Kan was going to get away with it and live happily ever after with Thiu. But this was not the case as Thiu finds out the truth and, of course, chooses the law over their love story. I will say that while I do understand, it surprised me a bit, as I thought it would have ended another way—and that's why I am impressed with this series.

It was neatly told in eight episodes and had me on the edge of my seat for each episode. If you are looking for something different with a great storyline and great actors, I suggest that you watch this.

I find that too much was going on for just 12 episodes

I don't know. I just felt that A LOT was taking place in the space of just 12 episodes that I was always playing catch up due to this. Like, this series started off good; a lot of things were added, and then I just kind of wanted to finish it in 2024 for my MDL 2024 challenge.

The evil guy (Kim Young So) like his hand was in EVERYTHING evil (organ trafficking, stolen artefacts, wanting to live for eternity, just to name a few). I personally felt that it was a bit too much. I also felt a little confused because he said that it was a mistake when Shota killed Jo Hin Dal's sister; the only reason why he was following his orders. I don't know if he truly meant to or if it really was a mistake.

What I must say is that the comedy is there as well as the action scenes, so I am grateful for that. Hwang De Myung's delivery in both the comic side and the action side of his character was truly enjoyable. This is my second time watching the works of JooWon and I am more impressed here than with the movie 'Carter.'

It was shockingly enjoyable

It has been a while since I have watched a Filipino series, my last one being in August, and it was the 2021 series 'Love Beneath the Stars.' So, I was a bit sceptical in watching this. But I must admit that it surprised me in the end.

Is it the best Filipino BL series out there? No, it's not. It does have some flaws. BUT! And hear me out on this one. But it was a bit different. I have watched numerous stories between a human and a ghost, yet this one was somewhat different, yet similar. They met at a party. Jack didn't realise Magic was a ghost until later. Jack was doing everything in his power to get Magic to cross into the afterlife. He found out the secret Magic was keeping from him. They were able to resolve it, and Magic was able to move on.

Something happened in the ending that is understandable why people may not like it. But I believe it's a better ending than some previous endings that I saw where the person just lived out their life and met with the ghost in the end for them to be reunited. It may not be an outstanding series, but it was still enjoyable, and it is also an easy watch.

You can watch this for what it is—a cute, quick web series.

P.S. - Saying this now, so people don't have to ask. No, Chukchuk isn't in this web series.

I want back the three months of my life that I wasted on watching this series!

I don't even know where to begin with this series. I decided to give this show a watch because of two reasons. One—the synopsis sounded interesting, and I wanted to see how this story would be translated. Two—one of the main characters, Kad Ploysupa, I knew from watching him in supporting roles from shows that were produced from Star Hunter Entertainment. I liked him in those supporting roles, so I decided to support him in his first main role here. I have now come and regretted it.

I have gotten some form of emotions from other series that I have rated low (even the 1's), be it anger, disappointment, confusion, or disgust—some kind of emotion. That was not the case for this series. I felt that the first two to three episodes were okayish, with me having this series between a 6 to 6.5. I believe that was due to the fact that Kad's character was really, really carrying the show then. And then afterwards...I just felt that watching this series became a chore for me, as I just felt nothing for any of the characters, be they main or supporting. Oh, I'm supposed to feel sorry for Elyes as the reason he has become a man wh@#e is because he was cheated on by his ex-boyfriend. I'm supposed to feel sorry for Elyes' ex-boyfriend, Run, because he went with Fei Long, who is Elyes' business enemy, because he gave him an ultimatum to be with him so that Run's brother will be safe in prison?! (Why the frick on the frack didn't you ask Elyes for help with that? Is it because Fei Long has a connection to the mafia, so that made him the better choice? Oh, no, it's because you guys were sweethearts, and you still love him even though you left him due to whatever circumstances and started dating Elyes. I call bulls@#t.

And, please, from what I interpreted, Run and Fei Long's relationship to how it was presented to me—that's not love. That's Stockholm Syndrome. Hey, I'm not saying that they weren't in love before—just what I saw with my own eyes watching this series. What was presented to me was Stockholm Syndrome. Also, why in this day and age are we trying to make one person jealous of another one due to some past girlfriend coming back in the person's life? We don't need that—we are past that, and I felt that part was pointless (and yes, I know she was there to tell Pat about the other bad guy whose name is eluding me right now for him to know that that person is not a nice guy and the person who's working with them—another name that is eluding me—is having relations with said bad person). And not only this, but the evil people kind of suck and just made me not care and be invested in this series. Everyone and everything sucked. This series gave me the feelings of nothingness due to the blandness that was seen in their acting skills, as well as how the storyline was portrayed. And no amount of 'eye candy' or smexy scenes in the last episode is going to save this show for me or make me give it a higher score than one.

I'm glad that I watched this after the hype, so I wouldn't be swept up with it

Let me say this first- I have watched 5 series by Dup Hup House, with this being the 6th. And...it has fallen into 1 of 2 patterns that I see Dup Hup House has. The series is either meh, but you watch it for the chemistry of the actors or it starts off good, gets meh and ends good/ okay-ish. I felt the ending for this was more why, but then I guess it's set up to have a season 2, I guess (I won't hold my breath for it as trashy BL's seem to get second season before outstanding/ good BL's.

There were some parts I like, some parts I hate and some parts I just wondered why. Like why did Jom end up inthe past? To experience what true love is just to loose it again?! That does not make sense to me. A time travel drama is supposed to have a specific reason for WHY did they end up inthe past. And yes, I see that he helped all those people in the past. But yet, he looses his love.

And the that ending- HOW and WHY? I'm sorry, this series just had to much flaws for me and because I have no idea if it's going to get a second season, I'm rating it on what was present to me with this season.

P.S.- While the overall rating says 7.5 (which I was initially going to give this series), the ending did not sit with well (both parts), so I'm giving it a 7. I really feel like I may never like a Dee Hup House production series, as there is always something in it that I will find flaws in.

I feel that something is missing.

I have been waiting for this series for such a long time. And now it has done. While I do love this series, I felt that something is missing from this series for it to be perfect for me.

Pros:
❤️ Beautiful cinematography
❤️ Excellent acting from not just the main actors but from all of the actors (looking at Khaotung Thanawat Ratanakitpaisan. While I didn't really like 'The Eclipse', he got my attention with his acting there. In this series...he impressed the hell out of me).
❤️ Time jumps did not actually annoy me
❤️ Getting to see Earth and Mix again in another series, where they did not disappoint me as well as watching another series from Aof.

Cons:
💔 I felt that something was missing. I really can't explain it better than this. I guess that I had extremely high expectations and it just wasn't able to reach it. Because the series did start off good and... something just went off. But it was able to get back on track by episode 7 and 8. Please note that this is my personal opinion.

In the end I give the story an 8, the acting a 9.5, the music a full blown 10 and the rewatch an 8. Overall, I give this series a 9. I honestly thought that this was going to be my first 10 BL for this year.

Another series completed

And...that's the wnd of the series 'Individual Circumstances.' It's a quick watch for anyone who wants to give it a go.

What I like about it:
☆ the acting was actually okay
☆ the music was okay
☆ guess that I'm immune to kissing scenes because I don't have anything bad to say about thier kisses as it's neither here or there to me.

What I didn't like about it:
☆ I have come to the conclusion that I don't like miscommunication between the main leads. And this miscommunication has lasted them for YEARS and has lated this series for nearly the whole of the series. That didn't sit right with me and annoyed me.

So! Story is a 6. Acting is a 7. Music is a 7 and rewatch is a 4 as I was very annoyed with the synopsis of this series and how it was developed. This in the end not giving me any motivation to consider rewatching it. Overall I give it a 6/10

I actually liked it!

I was actually shocked with this series. Why? Because I actually liked it. The concept was so simple and sweet, and it could be either a hit or miss. And this was actually a hit with me. I didn't have that much expectation for this series as I did for some previous Korean BL's. And this surprisingly was better than them.

The story was just so cute, simple and sweet. It was set in the workplace and guess what? They actually acted like adults! Just shocking to me! And there was a misunderstanding between the MC. And what happened? THEY ACTUALLY TALKED ABOUT IT AND SOLVED THE MISUNDERSTANDING WITHIN THE NEXT EPISODE! LIKE NO LONG BROODING ON THE ISSUE!! I was a bit shock at how the company did not accept Kim Jong Chan as an employee after his internship was done. I enjoyed all seven episodes from beginning to end and the development of Kim Jong Chan and Woo Seung Hyun.

I adored all of their acting from the main characters to the supporting characters. And to realize that this is the second work that I have watched from the actor Moon Ji Yong and the differences from both of his characters in his two series. He has truly impressed me as I honestly did not realize it was the same person. I give this series an 8.5 and I will totally recommend this series to anyone if they are looking for a light, cute, grown-up BL series.

It had it's moments

When this series was announced, I was so super ecstatic as this was one of two Thai BL series that i was waiting for to air in 2022 (the other one will be airing in 2023). And now here we are at the end of this series. And well...it had its moments while some parts I couldn't care less for.

Story-7.5/10
This is the story of Win and Team which i have been waiting for since the end of 'Until We Met Again' in 2019. And... I actually liked their storyline. Yes, there were a few parts that was a wee bit draggy, but I still liked seeing their story unfold. However, what annoyed me was about two and a half out of the four supporting couples. I really did not care about the relationship progression of Pruek and Manow, Bee and Prince and later on about Dean and Pharm (they did not annoy me in the beginning). I did enjoy the supporting couple of Tul and Wan. So, I am glad that they got their happy ending. Also, while i don't like the introduction of the trio A, B, C, I guess they were there for Team to have friends on the swim team. As for that, I'm giving it a 7.5 due to Win and Team and Tul and Wan as I basically just watched this for them.

Acting/Cast- 8/10
The acting was actually kind of good for me. I felt that they were all able to portray their characters good. So for that, I am giving an 8.

Music-7/10
While the music is nice, i had to replay it again to remember it. and while it is catchy, I have to give it a 7 just because of the fact that I couldn't remember the music.

Rewatch Valu-6/10
While I will not be eagerly running to watch this series over again, I must say that I do see myself watching it again, or at least the part with Win and Team and Tul and Wan. So, for that, I will give a 6.

Overall-7/10
Overall, I give this series a 7. It is not one of New's best work, but I am glad that I watched it as I was able to get the story of Win and Team.

The Revenge plot is the best thing about this series

I wanted something to watch and was going through recommendations that MDL was suggesting to me and came upon this series. I was a little put off as it is 27 episodes and I am not a fan of series with so much episodes. However! I started it and was wrapped up in the story of Tor/ Sila and the revenge that he wants to get against those who tortured him when hw was younger. And...I was entertained.

When Sila was in his revenge mode, this series was at its best. Yes, I agree that there are some things that he did that I totally do not agree with ( sleeping with Min's sister , Khawn, to get his revenge on her). But other than that, Sila was excellent in his revenge plot.

However, from episode 22, that's when I started to loose interest. And that's because the love story starts to take centre stage and where Min and Mam tells Sila to not continue with his revenge. And this series shows me that in revenge stories, I only want to focus on revenge and not on the love story.

Because of how the love storyline takes centre stage, everything wraps up in a happy ending where everyone forgives everyone (well, at least, those who are alive) and leaves me a tad bit dissapointed.

The actor who plays Sila really carried this series and was the reason why I continued on. I was naturally annoyed with the FL from the beginning to the end because she just took everything that her stepmom and sis did to her. In the end, I give this an overall rating of 7.5/10.

Those last few seconds...

From the premises of this series, I knew it qould be too much for a happy ending. So when it ended the way that it did, I wasn't even mad...until those last few seconds.

Story-7.5/10
This series had me curious to see how it would handle the time travelling concept. As the series progressed, I knew there was no way for a happy ending- one of them would have died. Shin Jae Woo because Kang Ji Hoon wasn't there to save him or Kang Ji Hoon because he saved the then ten years old Shin Jae Woo. As we wnet further into the story, I realized that Kang Ji Hoon was not going to let the small kid died. So, he basically went to save Kang Ji Hoon, knowing fully well he was not going to survive.

But before all of this happened, love blossomed between the two youg gentlemen in the span of three weeks. And I was okay if it had just ended there...but it doesn't. It seems to me that they are in time loop . So, these 3 weeks will continue over and over again qith Kang and Shin having 3 weeks of happiness and then Kang Ji Hoon dying to save ten years old Shin Jae Woo. And that right there, did not sit well with me. If they had stop just a few seconds before this, I would have given the story an 8 or 8.5. But because I know that they will always be in this time loop and not be able to come out of it, I'm giving it a 7.5.

Acting/Cast-8/10
I felt that there acting was actually really good. They were able to bring across thier emotions very well and this made the story enjoyable (at least up to those last few seconds). For that, I'm giving them an 8.

Music-10/10
This has to be one of the best OST from a Korean BL that I have seen in a while. Loved all of the songs. A ten from me.

Rewatch Valu-8/10
Despite those last few seconds at the end of this series, I would actually still rewatch this series. It had me entertained and I actually wanted to see what happened next!

Overall-8.5/10
Overall I give this series an 8.5/10. I liked it. I was entertained. And I just knew that there was no way for a happy ending. I would recommend this series to others- once they are not looking for a happy ending.

My review

PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT!!!
If oyu are looking for a fluffy, cute BL with kiss and make out scenes and a happy ending- continue looking because this is not it. This has an awesome and developed storyline, outstanding acting and great chemistry between the actors.

I also must start off by saying while I did enjoy this series, in the beginning- I just wasn't all the way in. But as it progressed, I feel for it as it felt real and raw to me.

Story -9.5/10

From how this story started, I felt the three main characters were portrayed in a different light than how they came out in the end. Some for the better and some for the worse.

When seeing Wang around In the first time, I just naturally thought of him as a big flirt. But as the story progressed, Wang showed to be more mature than In and his mom. We saw him start off flirty, then someone in love and finally someone heartbroken because he was willing to fight for his and In's love, but In wasn't.

Am I sad that they didn't end up together? No. Because Wang deserves better. He deserved someone who loves him. Someone who would fight for what they could have. In was clearly not that person.

On first seeing In, I had high hopes. I may not know ehat the story entailed but I just had high hopes. And those hopes came crashing down. Now, while I may get angry at him due to him not being brave enough to say 'I love you ', not once but twice, I can't get as mad as I want with him.

I see him as someone who is afraid of taking that chance for love, because of how he was seeing it as people would get hurt. But when he denies this chance, people still do get hurt. Maybe that's why he moved far away, because he just doesn't want to choose a side as he believes someone will get hurt. He still sucks, but I can't be totally mad at him.

Sasiwimol (Wang's mom). I hated her from the time I saw her. I still do after finishing this series. However, I kind of see where she is coming from. I mean, if you look at it, she was hurt too as her husband loved someone else. And while I may not like her, I am remembering her saying to Wang (not a direct quote) 'Did he say I love you?' Because I feel she knows the kind of individual In is and she knew that he would not be brave enough to say such words to Wang. And who knows? Maybe she is the way that she is because of what life has dealt to her.

Acting-10/10
From the first scene, you can see the difference in thier acting. They were all phenomenal. Even the first meetig between Wang and In was much more intense than any BL's/ K dramas that I have watched. It was just...wow. And what really impressed me is that how this story was told so well with just three actors. They all did a wonderful job.

Music-8/10
The music fit the mood of this series so well.

Rewatch Valu-10/10
Although this ending is not a happily ever after, I will most definitely watch it again. Because that's just how good the storyline is, the actors, the cinematography- just everything.

Overall-9.5/10
Overall I give this series a 9.5/10. It was indeen one hell of a ride as I when I first started this series, the outcome was not what I was expecting- it was way better. Would I recommend this series to others? Most definitely. I would like to end my review with the last words of the final episodes that really broke my heart but made me realize the beauty of this series.

To you who call yourself a parent...
You can only give birth to them but you don't own them.
To you are still young...
You have to bleed first before you learn.
To you who call themselves wise...
Don't let your cowardice get the better of you.
