For a MAME series, it was actually an okay watch
All right! Another series completed! And it's a MAME series, which are all usually questionable (at least for me). The only one that I kinda enjoyed from MAME is LBC. Her other series- nope! And well, this had some good parts- as well as some not so good parts. But all in all, it was an okay series that I was able to spend my Fridays with!Story-8/10
I have decided to give this series an 8, only specifically for these reasons-
1.Leo and Fiat actually kind of showed how real college boyfriends would be- if they weren't making out with each other, they were sleeping with each other- like in literally every episode.
2. Leon and Pob- you guys stole my heart and I am still heartbroken at your guys 'ending.' I know that we will have a special episode, but still.
3. The twins and Fiat's friend- they brought me joy with their antics. I know that I am going to miss them soooo much!
4. Leo's parents and Fiat's dad- They accepted them and their love for each other.
As for the reasons why I didn't like this series was the fact that I originally thought that Fiat's dad was against them by the way he acted towards his son. But he wasn't. What we got were not one, not two, not three, but fricking FOUR antagonist. And they were able to solve these four roadblocks so easy to return lovey-dovey to each other (Fiat's mom freaked me out a bit, I must add, though). Also, I thought that they had no communication issues, but that clearly went out the window by episode eleven.
Acting/Cast-7.5/10
Some of the acting was good. Some was a bit over the top. And some just actually suck. Smart and James acting- just phenomenal. First's acting wavered a bit for me- one scene it's stellar and the next...meh. I felt Ja's acting was okay as well, except for when he was crying- cause it got no form of emotions from me. I personally felt that the acting of the three of the four antagonist sucked big time. And for that I'm going to give this series a 7.5.
Music-9/10
I actually love the opening and closing OST. Like there were times that I would swing along with the opening OST and sway to the closing OST. So I decide to give it a 9.
Rewatch Valu-7.5/10
I actually do see myself watching this series- most specifically for Leon and Pob and the antics of their friends. So, I give it a 7.5.
Overall-8/10
Overall it was an okay series, with some flaws. But I did enjoy it and I am looking forward to the special episode that will be airing on November 06!

Umm...ehhh...hmmm
Well, I have completed the series 'Bite Me'. When I heard about it the first time, I was so excited, because we were getting a setting that was not solely based in school. And I will say that they were a few handful good episodes, but I personally felt that they were A LOT of not so good episodes. And that's why this series really did not resonate well with me.Story-5/10
When I read the synopsis, I went to myself 'Hey! This sounds cool. This series may actually be interesting.' However, after watching this series for eleven weeks, I personally felt that it was a bit slow/ draggy. Yes, they were some good moments. I do remember like the first two episodes were good as well as episodes seven and especially episode ten with Aek and his mother. But otherwise than that this series really did nothing for me. Especially after reading the synopsis< I was thinking 'Yeah, we gonna see a food competition.' And then where only two episodes were dedicated to the competition- one to get in the competition and the finals. Also, I really did not see the need for some side characters, but I guess they were there to add something for the competition.
I felt that at times that the scenes seemed a bit not put together in the correct place, thus making it a bit off for me, especially episode eleven. I have no idea what the heck happened in that episode cause it left me feeling a bit loss and confused (for example- since when did Bie meet Eve and likes her? Did I miss something or...?) The secondary couples were not developed good, so I honestly did not care for any of them outcome if they were happy or sad at the end. But I will say this- the food in this series looked phenomenal.
Acting/Cast-5/10
The amount of long pauses in this series from ALL of the characters is really nerve racking. And some of their acting just had me blankly watching the screen and having no emotions from watching it and wondering when the episode is going to end. I mean, for the last episode, I checked the time three times cause I felt that it was going on too long for a 46:37 episode. I was originally going to give this a four or something even lower cause I just wasn't feeling it. However, due to Mark's performance as well as Rudklao's (Aek's mom) performance in episode ten, I'm going to give them a 5.
Music-9.5/10
I can safely say this- the music was one of, if not the only, good thing about this series. The songs are addictive and I can be singing them from days to come. 9.5 from me!
Rewatch Valu-2/10
I honestly do not want to watch this series again. It really did not keep my attention or desire when I sat down and watch the episodes (except for the four episodes that I mentioned). So, just because of those four outstanding episodes for me, I will give it a 2.
Overall-5.5/10
Overall I give this series a 5.5. I really did try to enjoy it and it did start off good. But something just wasn't there for me. And while episodes seven and ten were good, these four episodes really can't make me enjoy the whole series.

It was worth the wait
I had to wait sooo long for the eng subs for this on LINETV. And, shockingly, it was kinda good. I'm still in shock cause I thought that the series was going to go one way but it totally went another way- which I did not see coming and works for the series.Story- 10/10
Three graduates are trying to live the dreams that they desire with thw help of Coach Mix. Of course, during the course of the ten episodes, they come across problems and issues which affect them from reaching thier goals. But although they met issues that were very discouraging, in the end, they found thier dreams on a rough road where they may have started over but at least was the road that they choose for themselves, learning from the obstacles that they had to overcome.
The later episodes of this series were not what I was expecting. It actually showed me to never give up on your dreams. You can still succeed even if you fail- just get back up and try again. The three main characters were able to succeed in this with the help of thier friends/ families. Truly made the series wonderful.
Acting/Cast-9/10
Okay now here's the thing- I honestly don't have any issues/problems with any of the actors. Except for Mean. On first watching this I thought that Mean was pigeonholed in this series- cause he basically act the same characters. However, I have realized that maybe Mean's acting is the same for all of his characters- which is honestly annoying. Hopefully his next acting job he is able to show a different side.
Music-10/10
The beginning instrumental OST as well as the ending OST are bangers. I love both!
Rewatch Valu-8/10
I would rewatch this again- there's no doubt about it. But I'm not that eager to due to the acting of Mean . I never realized that someone's acting can turn a person off a series until now.
Overall-9.5/10
In the end it is a good overall series. I don't mind recommending it for other people to watch.

I went into this series not kowing where it would take me. And I came out of it appreciating it so much! Story- 10/10
I feel in love at once with all of the characters. Mando, who didn't want to admit to himself that he was gay. Barry, who clearly had issues and was only thinking about his happiness, which wound up making him hurt two people who he cared about. And Krisha, who in the process of looking for love, got hurt by her boyfriend and brother. The supporting characters of the parents also played a role in being there for thier children. I was so proud that Mando's dad supported him when he came out and also explained to him why he should tell Krisha about his relationship with Barry, cause she would hate him more if she found out later. Also, Mando's two best friends were awesome in supporting them.
The introduction of Ms. Siwa and Mando's mom also added to this story cause I felt that this helped Mando accept himself. I will say what did upset me was that yes, Mando and Barry did have relations with each other, but they still continued it behind Krisha's back and that was the only thing that riled me up.
Acting/Cast- 10/10
Hands down thier performance was awesome! They made me love thier characters, hate them, feel sorrow for them and love them again. Kokoy has once again shown us his awesome acting skills and I hope that he continues with it. Alex also stole some scenes for me, especially the ending of episode five as well as into episode six. Barbie, whose character I despised in the first episode, grew on me and made me feel sorrow for her as the series progressed. Even the supporting actors were awesome when they came on the screen.
Music-9/10
Beautiful songs for a beautiful series.
Rewatch Valu- 10/10
I would most definitely rewatch this series again. It was different and refreshing. But then again, all of the Philippines BL's that I have watched have been different from each other, adding something new to this genre.
Overall- 10/10
I would most definitely recommend this series. Why? Cause the story is unique (to me) compared to other stories right now, the acting is on point and it was truly an enjoyable ride. The only issue I have ishow it's not available widely for people to access it to enjoy watching this series.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it. I know that all BL's have flaws, but this show had some flaws that I don't agree with and that's why I don't see this as 'the best BL ever made. 'I was with everyone, loving this series up till about episode 9 or 10 (I really can't remember). However, I just stopped watching it, due to a preview of the following episode. This was when Type went into Tharn's phone, while he was sleeping. This was a big no from me. Type should have learned to respect Tharn's privacy as they were boyfriends. I know that he had his reasons, but that still was an invasion of privacy. I am sure Tharn would have told him eventually. After that, it took me awhile to resume watched this series as I was ot really motivated. But I watched it till the end, cause I thought maybe somethng may change my mind and maybe I may fall in love with this series. That was not the case.
The first time I watched THAT scene (the bathroom) , I was like...wow. However, when I stopped watching this series, I sat down and thought 'there was really no consent with the bathroom scene'. Yeah, Tharn felt guilty after he did it, but it wasn't consent. Yes Type didn't tell him to stop, but he also didn't tell him to continue with it. That was a major flaw for me.
The only reason I see why people loved this series is because of Tharn and Type and maybe some of their friends. However they seriously can't like it for Thorn's character. He did very horrible things and he basically got away with it. No justice was given to Tar. Thorn literally sent people to r$%e this boy! And people are okay wth this!? I'm sorry, but not me. Thorn should have been sent to jail for what he did! Tar deserved closure from what happened to him. For this, I really couldn't rate this show higher than 6.5. The acting and some of the storyline is why I marked this show as high as I did.
Also, kudos for it in getting a second season. I MAY watch it, but for now, who really knows?

I want back the three months of my life that I wasted on watching this series!
I don't even know where to begin with this series. I decided to give this show a watch because of two reasons. One—the synopsis sounded interesting, and I wanted to see how this story would be translated. Two—one of the main characters, Kad Ploysupa, I knew from watching him in supporting roles from shows that were produced from Star Hunter Entertainment. I liked him in those supporting roles, so I decided to support him in his first main role here. I have now come and regretted it.I have gotten some form of emotions from other series that I have rated low (even the 1's), be it anger, disappointment, confusion, or disgust—some kind of emotion. That was not the case for this series. I felt that the first two to three episodes were okayish, with me having this series between a 6 to 6.5. I believe that was due to the fact that Kad's character was really, really carrying the show then. And then afterwards...I just felt that watching this series became a chore for me, as I just felt nothing for any of the characters, be they main or supporting. Oh, I'm supposed to feel sorry for Elyes as the reason he has become a man wh@#e is because he was cheated on by his ex-boyfriend. I'm supposed to feel sorry for Elyes' ex-boyfriend, Run, because he went with Fei Long, who is Elyes' business enemy, because he gave him an ultimatum to be with him so that Run's brother will be safe in prison?! (Why the frick on the frack didn't you ask Elyes for help with that? Is it because Fei Long has a connection to the mafia, so that made him the better choice? Oh, no, it's because you guys were sweethearts, and you still love him even though you left him due to whatever circumstances and started dating Elyes. I call bulls@#t.
And, please, from what I interpreted, Run and Fei Long's relationship to how it was presented to me—that's not love. That's Stockholm Syndrome. Hey, I'm not saying that they weren't in love before—just what I saw with my own eyes watching this series. What was presented to me was Stockholm Syndrome. Also, why in this day and age are we trying to make one person jealous of another one due to some past girlfriend coming back in the person's life? We don't need that—we are past that, and I felt that part was pointless (and yes, I know she was there to tell Pat about the other bad guy whose name is eluding me right now for him to know that that person is not a nice guy and the person who's working with them—another name that is eluding me—is having relations with said bad person). And not only this, but the evil people kind of suck and just made me not care and be invested in this series. Everyone and everything sucked. This series gave me the feelings of nothingness due to the blandness that was seen in their acting skills, as well as how the storyline was portrayed. And no amount of 'eye candy' or smexy scenes in the last episode is going to save this show for me or make me give it a higher score than one.

So close to perfection
This story is truly amazing as everyone did a wonderful job in portraying the characters. However, it felt short to perfection as we are left with some unanswered questions. And while there are talks for a season 2, I'm not sure that we are going to get a season 2. So, as such,I'm judging this on these 12 episodes that were presented to me and not what the future may hold for this series.Due to this, I gave the story an 8 due to it not really giving a complete first season (to me), as it sets it self up for a season 2. I gave tha acting a 9, as the 2 ML's gave stellar performance in thier roles. I gave the music a 10 because the opening OST was just beautiful and I gave rewatch value an 8, due to the fact that while Ilove this series, I can't put myself rewatching this too often to feel like the ML's ending is not complete.
Overall, this series is a 9 for me. I just wished that it could have given me everything that I wanted for it to be a perfect 10.

A series that I wasn't that eager to watch but actually liked in the end
Let me start off by saying the only reason why I watched this series is due to the fact that I eanted to watch 'Our Skyy 2' and this couple was going to be one of the eight couples being used. So, because of that, I started this series. And...I actually liked it!Story-8/10
I think that if this was told as a simple cute, fluff story without the attempt of angst and trying, but failing to have an antagonist, it would have been one hell of a series. I mean, they tried to add something that wasn't really dealt with nor, to me, was even needed.
I mean, what happened with Thop and his case? It was kind of just brushed over. And also, Thop just forgiving his mom so easily eventhough she knew what the step-father was doing to his sister and did NOTHING about it?! And then you have Gun's mom basically telling Cher that he was not good enough for her son. I mean, it's cool if he wanted to better himself for himself- not for somebody else.
And due to these issues, I give this story an 8.
Acting/Cast-9/10
I adore all the actors in this series. The banter between friends, Force acting kind of stiff, yet cool as Gun. And Book as Cher, although there were sometimes the character did annoy me. I enjoyed Force and Book here more than thier previous series 'Enchante ' ( which was why I really was not that eager to watch this).
Music-8/10
The music was cute and adorable. I'm really going to miss it.
Rewatch Valu-8/10
I surprisingly actually do see myself watching this series soon. Despite it's few flaws, it really was a good series to watch that entertained me.
Overall-8.5/10
Overall, I give this series an 8.5. It's a cute, light and fluffy, with some moments that I did not enjoy as the outcome was not really dealth with. I am now eagerly awaiting for next week for this coulpe in 'Our Skyy 2'.

I'm actually gonna miss this series
I started this series not really expecting much. But I was wring. From the basketball to thier love lives, I was enthralled for the majority of the series. And now that it's over, I am actually going to miss it.Story-8.5/10
From the first episode, I feel for this series theough thier story telling. It actually had me excited in watching the basketball matches and wanting to see how far they would reach. Which I was shocked at, cause I came for a love story, not a sports story.
I loved all three BL couples, cause they added good different stories to the series. And hey, some people may not like the ending for some of them, but I actually did. I felt that it was better this way.
What I despise was the time jump, cause they made my sweet Torn into someone who I didn't like at the end of episode ten and the most of eleven, before he went back to his sweet ways. Yeah, that time jumped screwed up this series a little bit.
Acting/Cast-9/10
I liked everyone's acting. They kept me entertained and I keep coming back every week due to that.
Music-8/10
I like the music. I looked forward in hearing it every week.
Rewatch Valu-8.5/10
I actually do see myself watching this series again. The storyline and acting was no doubt good and I don't mind rewatching it again.
Overall-8.5/10
Overall, I give this series an 8.5. It was actually a good sports and love story (and I will say this again- I was not here lookong for a sports series). This is truly an underrated gem.

A unique storyline with questionable pacing
I am so glad that I was able to watch this series. It was indeed a different storyline compared to the other BL's that I have watched. And for that reason, I am grateful for watching this series.Story-8/10
As I have stated before, a truly unique storyline. However, I must say, that the pacing threw me off a bit. Time can be clearly seen as an issue for this series. It's only four episodes and so much had to be develop. And then in the final episode where they just introduce a secondary couple and confusing me more. Like, we already don't have much time for telling they story of Noah/ Zheng Yu Shi and Wu Zheng and you want to go and introduce me to another couple. Who, by the way, storyline is underdeveloped. However, just for the uniqueness of this story, I'm sticking with my 8.
Acting/Cast-9/10
The main cast were phenomenal and no one is going to change my mind about it. I am truly impressed with Yi Da Dian and his capability of taking on two roles and doing then so good. He did an excellent job.
Music-7.5/10
You know what? Some part of the music did stay with me, It may not be as strong as others, but it did stay with me. So, I'll give it a 7.5.
Rewatch Valu-8/10
Due to the unique storyline as well as the phenomenal acting from the two ML's, I actually do see myself watching this series again. So, I will give it an 8.
Overall-8/10
Overall, I give this series an 8. It truly was a unique storyline that captured my attention until the very end.

No spoilers in my review (hopefully)
Well! Here I am to give a review after watching the movie, binge re-watching the series AND then rewatching the movie (yes- it was that good to me!) I'm gonna try to not give any spoilers, cause I am putting myself in the shoes of those who didn't see this movie due to financial situtions but are dying to see it!Story-10/10
I see some people saying that the storyline is generic and I get that as we have been told this story a hundred times already. But, for me, I felt that they were able to take a simple storyline and retell it with a uniqueness that the actors were able to portray. Which made me just...fall in love with this movie!
Acting/Cast-10/10
Good thing about rewatching the series made me see just how much the MC's acting abilities improved- especially JC Alcantara. I liked his acting in the series but he really blew me away in the movie. Hopefully he will be able to get more roles in shows, cause he honestly deserves it! Besides the MC, I adore the (majority) of the supporting characters.
Music-10/10
New songs were introduced that were indeed delightful to my ears. However, the OST was still used and had me grinning like a fool from when I heard it start playing. Totally loved that song! And they had Xavier and Mico singing it at the end of the movie! Squeal!!!
Rewatch Valu-10/10
You did see that I said that I rewatched this movie already, right?
Overall-10/10
If you can, I suggest that you rent this movie as it was that good! I totally recommend this to everyone! A really feel good, cute and beautiful movie wraping up an awesome series!

Those extra minutes added made this story perfect for me
I recently found out that there was a director's cut of this series. And I am glad that I watched it! Those extra few minutes added something that was definitely missing from the series. I gave the series 9.5 cause I felt that something just wasn't there. This director's cut movie- it had what was missing!Story-10/10
I never knew the importance of just a few minutes that made me appreciate this so much! The ending scene, I got teary eyed cause it was so emotional. Rhwy got together. Akira died. Yyuki lived out his remaining life. And when he died, they were finally reunited. Also the scene with Akira and his friends also added to us viewers why he did what he did. We may not like him for it, but now we understand. These few minutes already added to a beautiful story.
Acting/Cast-10/10
Loved the actors. They were able to bring across the characters and their stories to us fans in a moving and stunning way.
Music-10/10
The music in this was able to weave the scenes beautifully and I loved it so much!
Rewatch Valu- 10/10
If I had to chose between this and the series, I will choose to rewatch the director's cut. Why? Cause those extra minutes in the director's cut makes Akira and Yyuki's story more heartwarming. I would most definitely recommend it!

A mixture of a telenova, an indian series, a Thai BL with a Disney happy ending
Well, I have just finished this series. And all I can say is that when it was good, it was REALLY good and when it was bad...it was REALLY bad.Story- 7.5/10
The story started off good, but then I think it lost me somewhere, then it got me back. I felt thatcsome things progressed too fast maybe? Also, the ending with the dad. He hated that son was gay, but in the end, in the space of ONE episode, he saw his ways and asked Ace to forgive him?! Just like that?!
Also, Moria broke up with Sky, but is getting on like a b#$ch, cause he moved on. You so don't want him to be happy that u kidnapped Ace's dog, put nuts in Ace's food, which, by the way he's allergic to, leaks a tape with both boys having sex- yet they forgive her for everything. Bullcrap!
I mean, some parts of the series was good, like Sky talking to his mom about his sexuality. Sky and his dad talking in the final episode and even Sky's brother supporting him. But then some parts were bad...and pointless.
Acting/Casting-8/10
The actors who portrayed Sky and Ace- I will give it up to them. When they did an intimate scenes- it was beautiful and believable. And the fact that they didn't do like months of workshop like how they do in Thailand is seen in some of their delivery. But, when they are together, it felt beautiful and good to me.
Some of the supporting characters were over the top for me a bit (looking at you, Ms. Becky), and some of them when needed, gave a good performance in their acting.
Music-8/10
I liked some of the songs used, so I will give it an 8.
Rewatch Value-6.5/10
Yeah, I don't think that I will watch this that soon. I mean, they were some good parts, but I will not be in a rush to sit down and watch these twelve episodes soon.
Overall-7.5/10
If you can get though the bad moments of this series, then give it a go. I found it to truly be a mixture of a telenova and indian series with it's over the top acting and storyline. A Thai BL , cause...well, if you watch it you will see as well as how everything was neatly tied up in the end like how those Thai BL's are done. And of course, it's Disney like ending, where everything is okay and the main couple lived happily ever after. If this is a show that you can see watching with these qualities, then you should give it a chance.

A simple story beautifully told
Some BL storylines are the same thing over and over again. This sometimes is extremely annoying to us viewers and sometimes it's not. It is the latter case in We Best Love: No. 1 For You.Story-10/10
We, the viewers, have seen so much time where one of the ML has fallen in love with the next ML for years and is not until many years later that they are able to finally get to be close to he individual where thier love blooms. That's what happened here. And what amazes me is that the actors are able to bring this story that we have seen so much times in such a beautiful way through thier acting. Also, the ending where we saw five years in the future and are now so confused as to why Zhou slapped Gao- well! Now I am wising it's March 05, cause I need to know what is going to happen next!
This story also made me appreciate the supporting characters, especially Gao's mom. It was finally nice to see a supporting mom on a Taiwanese series- heck in any BL series!
Acting/ Cast-10/10
Everyone's acting was on point! I felt happy when they were happy, I cried when they cried, I was in shock at some of thier scenes. I believe that all of them truly raised thw bar actng wise in Taiwan as it has been such a long time since I was so emotionally invested and actually feel in love with thier acting. I actually can't point at any flaws- that's how good thier acting was to me from the main actors to the supporting actors.
Music-10/10
The opening and closing OST are so damn addictive and beautiful. Loved both songs so much!
Rewatch Valu- 10/10
I know that I will rewatch this series again, cause that's just how good this series was. Heck, I think I will rewatch before he sequel just so everything will be fresh in my memory.
Overall-10/10
Yeah. I know that I would have liked this series just after watching the first episode. What I didn't expect was to fall in love with it thw way that I did. I would recommend this series with my whole heart to anyone.

I prefer this version over the original
DisclaimerWhat I am writing here are my views and thoughts about this series. Some of you may not like it. That does not give you the right to try to come at me with your opinions on why this series should get a higher or lower score and why it is better/worse than I think it is. You have your own opinions, and I have mine. Kindly respect that.
I would first like to say that I had no desire to watch this series because if you would read my previous comments on any MAME series, you would know that I have a love/hate relationship with her series (but, yes, I do still watch them). Also, the last Japanese remake that I watched where the original actors (Fort and Peat) were involved – I just did not feel that the Japanese counterpart to Fort's Prapai was good. So, I was apprehensive about watching this series. But one day, I just decided to give it a go, and I am actually glad that I did.
The Japanese counterpart to the characters (Kashin and Ai) of the original Thai series (Mahasmut and Tongrak) was actually well done. I felt that the Japanese handled some of the sexual scenes better compared to the Thai version. They were able to carry me through the emotions that the original actors did, and yet I was still able to enjoy this series as if it was the first time that I was seeing this story unfold (I mean, this series had me crying in a part that I knew was coming up in the last episode – that's just to show you how well these actors played these roles of these two characters). Yes, they also did have some weak parts compared to the Thai version, I will admit, but still, I felt like I enjoyed this version more.
