From someone who doesn't like C dramas, I really enjoyed this one!
I have stated multiple times for my hate/hate relationship with C dramas. I find that they tendto be too long with the amount of episodes they have for a series. I still watch them, though. But due to their lengths, I always seem to loose interest in them. That was not the case for this series. It had me hooked form the beginning, nearing to the end because of the length of episodes, how the actors portrayed the characters and even the amount of episodes. Would this series have benefitted at finishing at episode 13? Why, yes to me (personally), but it was still good.
I remember seeing the ML from another series 'My Letal Man,' and I think that's why I gave this a shot. This was a simple yet entertaining drama to binge watch and I will recommend it to others as well, especially people who have a hard time in watching cdramas.

A cute pleasant surprise
When I originally started this series, I was not expecting too much for it. I basically started watching this series to fill my Saturdays. However, as each week passed by, this series grew on me.This series had not one, not two, not three, but FOUR couples. And somehow they were able to give them enough screentime so that all four relationships can be developed. And that's a rarity. I'm still in shock that they still somehow manage to do this actually.
While I didn't like the beginning of the storyline for the main couple, it grew on me. Each week I was actually eager to watch this series to see what was going to happen next.
And yes, maybe this series has so much BL troupes in them, but hey! It somehow worked for this series.
I know that I am going to miss this series. If you want a cute, fluffy light BL series to watch- give this one a go. Don't pay to much attention to the rating, though. It does deserve a higher score than 7.6.

In the beginning, I was confused. At the end, I was confused, annoyed and disappointed
This has got to be the first series that after watching the first episode, I had no idea what the heck was happening and what was going to happen during the course of ten episodes. This series really had me scratching my head. And I know a lot of people would ask 'Then why did you continue it?' Two simple reasons: 1. I never drop a series and 2. I wanted to know what happened till the end. And what happened has just left me confused, annoyed and disappointed.Story-4.5/10
In all honesty, I had NO clue whatsoever about whatever was going on in this series. I can safely say that I was confused for the first seven episodes (yes, you heard me!). Heck! I didn't even know the woman who went to jail was Inpha (the Chief)'s sister until I saw it in the comments section! I only finally started to get the grasp by episode 8. And by then it was a little too late.
That and the fact that I was getting annoyed with nearly every episode up until 7 or 8 where Ken was getting choked. Anyhow, they go through all that crap ONLY for them not to get back together. I mean, it was already hard for them to get back together due to the fact that Din and the doctor literally stole the face of a dead man and gave Din his name. So, why not kill the Chief on top of that as well? But I must say that the cinematography was indeed beautiful (so that will get a .5 from me). So, for all of this, I'm giving the story a 4.5.
Acting/ Cast-5/10
If I had any idea what this series was about before episode 8, I would have given their acting a higher score. But I have no idea and out of the kindness of my heart, I'm giving them a 5. However, I would like to add that hopefully in the future Boom Raweeqit Jiraphonggkanon will get a better main role. Because I knew him from the hot mess that was 'My Dream' and he was one of the few actors that I liked there.
Music-7/10
The music was the only good thing about this whole series. So, for that, I will give a 7.
Rewatch Valu-2/10
Yeah...I can't rewatch this. Because, as I have stated before, I was confused for the majority of the episodes. And I don't think rewatching this series will help me in any way at all.so, I'm going with a 2.
Overall-4.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 4.5. Maybe if it was executed better, it would have gotten a higher score from me.

I sat down on Sunday (10) and binged watched this series where I was able to complete it on Tuesday (12). And what can I say? I felt underwhelmed. I felt this the first time I saw the trailer and wasn't as excited as most of the people were. But I still decided to give it a try.Story-6/10
I honestly liked the first half of this series. I sat down and watched eight episodes at once, cause those seve episodes piqued my interest and kept me entertained. After that, I honestly don't know. Maybe it's due to the fact that this series is character driven and not storyline driven. So, after Kinn and Porsche got together, basically the other half is them falling out with each other and coming back together. Which got a bit tedious for me.
The characters of Kim and Chay really did nothing for me as a couple. Whatever was going on with them- just did not interest me. For Vegas and Pete...while they both need to see a psychiatrist and I may not like some parts of thier relationship, they were one of the two reasons why I continued with this series. The other reason is the character of Tankhun. Loved him to death! As for the other characters, it was neither here or there for me, especially the dads.
There were some parts of the story that made me scratch my head, some parts that made me scream at them beacuse they were idiots and some parts that were just too predictable. As such, I am giving the story a 6.
Acting/Cast-9/10
Not gonna lie- the cast acting was amazing. They actually did well with this script. And for that reason, I'm giving them a 9 (mostly due to he characters of Tankhun, Vegas and Pete).
Music-9/10
The music was also one of the best features of this series as well. As such, I give a 9.
Rewatch Valu-5/10
Personally, I see myself watching this is a very far, far, far away future. Not right now, though. So, I will give that a 5.
Overall-7.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 7.5. I really wanted to loke it the way most people here did. But, unfortunately, it just did not happen for me.

Bravo for making a spinoff worse than its predecessor
Kudos goes to those who decided to make this spinoff. You guys have achieved something that I never had expected- you made this series worse than it's predecessor 'Tonhon Chonlatee ' - and that's saying something!Story-1/10
I don't know how I did it, but I sat down for 3 months and watched this series. And...the only thing that I got from this series was that Ai liked Nhai. They dated and ended up together in the end. That's it. Thier story could have bewn told in four episodes instead of twelve. Up to now I am still wandering what was the purpose of twelve episodes. I mean, all the 'baddies' that didn't want them together quickly fizzled out and really added nothing to the story.
The girls who showed interest in both Ai and Nhai were pointless. Ai's mom and sister was pointless. EVERYTHING was pointless. Also, it made no sense if you watched the sequel 'Tonhon Chonlatee ', because thier small storyline here does not in any form or fashion follow or is close to the storyline in there.
All this series had were make out scenes and NC scenes of the MC. Two of Nhai's friends were given 'love interest ', besides Tonhon. I put these in brackets becuase one ended before it began and the next one was a blink before you miss it situation. And the ending really didn't do anything for the story, leaving me dissapointed but not surprised due to watching this series.
Acting/Cast-1.5/10
I do try my best to give new actors a chance in series. But as of late, I feel like I just can't. The roles that they are taking, they are not able to portray these characters well. This is what I personally believe as some of the actors here this is thier very first role. And as such, I was initially going to give them 1. However, just beacuse poor Porsch and Arm starred in this monstrosity, I am giving them an extra .5. So my rating is 1.5.
Music-3/10
Some of the music was a bit passable, but not really that memorable. So, I will be giving a 3.
Rewatch Valu-1/10
No. Just no. Absolutely not. This series at time just became background noise, as I did not pay any slight attention to it. And since the lowest I can give is a 1, then I am giving it a 1.
Overall-1.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 1.5 out of 10. And I must say that my lesson has officially been learned. I told myself not to expect much as this director was the same one who did 'Hotel Stars', 'Gen Y ' seasons 1 and 2 and 'LA Cuisine '. All of which I may have issues with (I only gave 'Hotel Stars' a7.5 due to an actor who carried out his character well and I gave 'Gen Y ' a 7 due to my then desire for a season 2- which totally dissapointed me).

I was more invested in some characters/ stories than others and that's unfortunate
I sat down and watched this all in one go in a space of three days (I kid you not and I am shocked at this myself). And while some stories were far better than what I expected, some just did not gel well with me.Story-7/10
I am going to separate my marks into four parts adding up all the ratings, as it was four different stories that were being told.
Story 1-7/10
This was my 2nd fave story out of the four. The MC, Pan and Nott, are being played by Seng and Billy, who I remember from the series 'Secret Crush on You' that I watched last year. This story is actually quite believable to me in the BL industry because we, the fans, have heard and seen so much weird things that this storyline is so believable to me. While I did not understand/ like the ending, the story was still more entertaining to two out of the four stories.
Story 2- 6.5/10
Gonna be honest with you guys. I got so confused with who was using who in this story. And maybe that's why I personally didn't like it. And what I didn't get is with the managers. Like, they didn't want Gus and Bew together, because oh how they were selling their image to the public. Yet, Peak and Kla, their next clients are able to date each other. But then again, they took them because of how they were a ship in their university, so I guess that it would be different for them.
Story 3-8.5/10
This was my fave out of all four. Why? Because I was able to follow it so closely and understand it. I understand why Peak did what he did. And at the ending, he actually showed that he was guilty and stated his flaws. And when he didn't win- I actually believe that this could happen as the company choose who they wanted to do the series for them. I think that the reason why this one is my fave is due to the fact that the MC, Peak and Kla, were the only MC that actually got their happy ending.
Story 4-4.5/10
Ugh! I just didn't like this one at all. Could be the fact that I just didn't like Achi from the get-go in the third story. And his character just didn't improve in his own story. Also, we get some kind of history of Achi from his past school days, but I wanted to know more about his family life. Like, why didn't his parents come to the Y Idol series like how all the other contestants' parents did? I really felt the pain for Most, because I honestly thought that they would have been together. The only highlight for this story for me, was the fact that Earth and Korn became a couple. That was the only good thing for me. We also got to see more of P Atichon, who most of the boys looked up to in all of the stories. While he was always being portrayed as a caring senior actor, in this story we get to see another side of him- but it's not very detail. And I guess that's why I really didn't connect with this story.
Due to all of the marks adding up will give me 6.625. So, I will give the story a generous 7/10.
Acting/ Cast-8/10
I actually did enjoy the acting of the casts. I felt that they were able to portray the characters well. And for that I will give them an 8/10.
Music-7/10
Even though I have just finished this series, I had to go back to listen to the OST's as they really did not leave an impression on me, but it did sound catchy. As such, I will give the music a 7/10.
Rewatch Valu-5/10
As I have stated, I really like two out of the four stories (story one and three). Due to this, there is a 50/50 chance that I will rewatch this series, especially just those two stories. Due to this, I give a 5/10.
Overall-7/10
Overall, I give this series a 7/10. While I did enjoy it, it had some flaws that just wasn't properly explained and executed in the series and that I am just unable to overlook. It is most definitely sad if what I watch do happen in the BL industry to these actors who just want to live their dreams.

Well that was some deep dark mofo s@#t
Wow. I...I just don't know how and where to start with this movie. I wanted to watch this movie, but then again, I didn't because of some of the tags. This movie is not what I usually watch and maybe I should have stayed away from it as I read the tags. But I still gave it a go because Park Jinyoung starred in it.And I must say...Park Jinyoung killed it. I always loved his acting in his previous series/ movies, but he was stellar in his dual role. The emotions that he went through and was able to portray, I felt them. The other actors also portrayed their role good as well. The amount of anger I had watching them - my blood was boiling. This movie is a roller coaster of emotions.
Now, here's the thing- would I recommend this movie to others? Sure, if you can handle the tags and also a fan of Park Jinyoung. If not, then no. I basically watched this just for him. If he was not starring in this (or any of my other fav actors), I know that I wouldn't watch it. The same way that I watched a series for another actor, but I knew it was not my genre.
I know that there is no way I would watch this movie again. I felt so emotional watching this the first time- so much anger, pain, hurt, sadness, etc. And because of that, I just can't give this movie a full 10. My suggested rating is an 8. But I am going to give this movie a 9.5 because it did keep my attention for the whole duration and the actors were all stellar portraying their characters.

Third food theme BL completed for the year 2021
I am now getting the chance to write a review. I did finish this series on November 11. However, I am now only finding thw time today to give my review. So, let's go!Story-7.5/10
So, this is the third BL that I have watched this year with the 'theme' of cooking attached to it. And what can I say? It was not perfect and I did enjoy most of the episodes. But those last two episodes...yikes! They totally ruined this story for me. I mean, everything was wrapped up so easy. I guess that I personally wouldn't just forgive someone if they screwed me over the way that Choi Jung Woo screwed over Yoon Do Gun. Also, Choi Jung Woo doesn't explain himself to Yoon Do Gun on why he did what he did. But yet, everything is forgiven at the end of the series. And what's with that 3 month gap? They just stop seeing each other with no phone calls or nothing going on between them and then out of the blue- Yoon Do Gun just calls up Choi Jung Woo and they met up?!
And what was the point of Laura, the owner? She made no sense in this series. First- you want Yoon Do Gun to change and then ou just basically faked the judging competition because you wanted Choi Jung Woo to be the head chef. But then tell Yoon Do Gun that what he cooked was the best you ever tasted and thwn want him to remain. But not as head chef. Like...no. And because of those two horrible episodes, I give the story a 7.5.
Acting/Cast-7.5/10
I honestly like thier acting. I mean at least the main cast. Coi Jung Woo's character did what he was suppose to do for me at least. He was a good looking annoying dick who somehow won the heart of Yoon Do Gun. And I liked how the actor portrayed Yoon Do Gun as well. I actually feel that the secondary couples brought nothing for me. So, for that, I will give a 7.5.
Music-6/10
The music really did not resonate with me as it really, personally to me, is not that memorable l. So for this I give a 6.
Rewatch Valu-5/10
Because of that very disappointing last two episodes, I am not in that big of a hurry to rewatch this series. It was goodish- but not that good to l return to watch it eagerly. So for that, I give it a 5.
Overall-6.5/10
I honestly thought that I would have given this a higher mark as I have stated I actually enoyed 6 out of 8 episodes. But I guess those two last episodes totally ruined this series for me.

Same score as the series
Not gonna lie. It was not what I was expecting. However, I still enjoyed it.I gave it the same score as I did the series. I actually liked the background story a bit more, so I gave that an 8.
The acting/cast and music was the same score (8 and 10 respectively).
However, while the storyline for me was a bit better than the series, I'm not that eager to watch it again, cause I now know what happened and once is enough for me. Thus I gave that a 6.
My overall score was thus an 8, just like the series.

Truly Beautiful and I need more of this couple!
This movie has made me once again love Philippines BL. Cause I stopped watching it and this movie is going to make me SLOWLY start to trust Philippines BL again (gonna be selective as h#ll, but still gonna try to watch them again).Story-10/10
I am giving it a ten. Cause eventhough there is a character there that I believe should kick rocks, it still told us a story that was real and beautiful. It dealt with issues that I actually was not expecting and it was handled well.
Acting/Cast-10/10
Everyone was so perfect as thier characters (even the one that I believe should kick rocks, cause that character made me develop such a hatred towards them).
Music-10/10
The music fit the mood and was so beautiful and emotional and so heartbreaking.
Rewatch Valu-10/10
I am giving this a 10 cause yes, I would pay money AGAIN to watch this movie and cry like an idiot again.
Overall-10/10
I enjoyed this movie so much that as of right now, it has pivoted ro the top two BL's that I have watched so far in 2021. I would wholeheartedly recommend this movie to anyone, especially to someone who misses the characters of Gavreel and Cario.

This story is about the personal growth and not just love.
What can I say? I Promised You the Moon is over. I have waited so long for the continuation of I Told Sunset About You. And while I was looking for the continuation of the love story of Oh-aew and Teh, what I got was characters that needed to have a break in thier relationship so that they can have a personal growth to give thier love a second chance. And that was what was delivered in this series.Story-8.5/10
The storyline, while was beautiful, I felt that there were some flaws that I can't look over. I did get mad when Teh didn't tell Oh-aew about his feelings for Jai when it was brought up the first time. I also personally feel that Teh and Oh-aew should have started over as friends first before going back as boyfriends. But otherwise than that, it was a good storyline.
Acting/Cast-10/10
I will say this- the actors were PHENOMENAL in this series. From the main actors to the supporting actors. Heck! Even the guest roles all of them was soooo good. The acting carried me on emotions like the characters- happy, sad, angry and more. They did a wonderful job!
Music-10/10
The music, just like in ITSAY, was beautiful! I always listened to it at the beginning of each episodes. They truly did an incredible job with the music.
Rewatch Valu-8/10
Because of all of the heartache and heartbreak that occurred in this series, I don't see myself watching this series again anytime soon like how I did with ITSAY. I will watch it, just not as much as I would with ITSAY.
Overall-9/10
Overall, I personally took from this series that the main characters needed personal growth before they were able to come back together as a couple. I do see myself recommending this series to others. But I will tell them this is not just a love story but a story about finding and bettering yourself so that you can give love a second chance.

Glad to finally get this off my PTW list
I did it! I actually did it! I have FINALLY watched all twelve episodes of 2 Brothers! I feel like I have accomplished the impossible! Wo! So glad that I'm done!Story-6.5/10
In all honesty the storyline started off interesting. However, I felt like everything was wrapped up too conveniently and quickly. Also, there were parts of the storyline that I just didn't like but somehow the family members seemed to get over it so quickly and easily. I mean the highlight for me in this WHOLE series was that Saint was the missing grandson and he showed up at the end, but only to Tony.
Acting/Cast- 7.5/10
Some parts of the acting was okay, while it can be seen in other parts that it wasn't.
Music-8/10
I was in shock to hear My Everything that grew on me from the BL series The Moment (which apparently was made after this), I know that thier music would be awesome. And it was!
Rewatch Valu-4/10
I actually do not want to watch this series again. One time is good enough for me, thanks.
Overall-6.5/10
Overall I am glad that I have finished this series. So I no longer have to wonder exactly what this series is about.

I may not agree with the ending but it's still an interesting BL.
My original heading was going to be don't judge a series by it's poster. But after watching the last three episodes, I decided to change it.Story-7/10
Now here's the thing. I don't like the majority of the characters- they all had flaws and it made me hate them. From the beginning I despised Nat. However, the series ws able to explain why he was the way he was by giving a very good and thorough background story.
I didn't like Sipmuen and then later on Saen. I hated Jan from on the get go. Matter of fact, the only ones who I liked were Song, Kensit, Kensit's parents and Thaou.
I don't know why but I felt the storyline with Saen, Jan and Tathan belonged to a different story and it really didn't mesh well for me, personally. It felt a bit out of place and I honestly didn't care about the outcome, eventhough it was linked to the ML's storyline.
What I liked storywise was they were able to touch issues that not many BL's have touched for us to understand the society that they live in.
Now I know that this series could have ended at least three different ways. While I may not be happy abour it, I know that this ending was one of the ways. Do I like it? No. But I do understand it. So for all of this reasons I'm going to give it a 7.
Acting/Cast-9/10
You know, for you to get any emotions from me- be it hate or love for a character- that means that you acted really good. And that's what these actors were able to do. So I will give them a 9.
Music-8/10
The song was cute, I'm not eve going to lie. So for that, I give it an 8.
Rewatch Valu-2.5/10
I'm sorry but I'm not going to put myself through this torture again. Once was enough for me. Cause while there were good parts, the bad parts outweigh them to me. SoI'm going to go with 2.5.
Overall-6.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 6.5/10. While it was good, I just don't see myself watching it again anytime soon.

I am only writing this view cause someone made a comment that basing on the reviews most people agree that this series was not good. Sorry to say that's not true- we are basically a bunch of lazy people who don't see the point of writing reviews if we already wrote in the comments section stating why we love this series. But here goes nothing!UWMA is a beautiful story about reincarnation between Korn and In and Pharm and Dean. It was told in a way that had some of us (I really believe a lot of us) crying on a weekly basis. To met the person you lost through tragedy and your love is still as strong as it was thirty years ago...that's frickin amazing.
And yeah there were a lot of crying scenes as well as cooking scenes, but these scenes were needed to tell the love story that is Korn and In and Pharm and Dean. It integrated with the story. Pharm is crying cause of all the pass memories that he had as In with Korn. His lover literally kills himself in front of him. I know people found that annoying but how much of us have witnessed the suicide of a loved one in front of us? Would we not cry everytime that we think about them and what they did?
For the cooking- was it needed? Yes, it was as it intertwines the past life with the present. When Pharm cooks, he gets memories of his past life as his sister used to cook for him and make treats with him. There was a scene where Pharm ate the food that Dean's grandmother cooked and it brought back memories of In as it was In's favourite.
Now, I am not saying the series was perfect- it did have it's flaws. But then again, all BL series have flaws. It was different cause it did not tell the regular story of two boys in university/ high school who fell in love with each other and got an annoying third party who wants to break them up. It did tell the story of reincarnation of two souls who loved one another and found their way back to each other.
This story was clearly not for everyone, as we all have different taste. What people hated about this series, other people loved! The acting, the cooking and the music were the reasons why I stayed with this series. And I know that we didn't get enough of the side couples, but this story was about Korn and In and Pharm and Dean and people need to realize that. Also, this series was based on a novel and not based on the characters of a novel, which is why it stuck to what was in the novel. Two examples from American shows where it was based on the characters of a novel were Shadowhunters and Vampire Diaries. This meant that they took the characters but they did not follow the books that they came from to tell the story.
I thank P'New for making this breathtaking story and for carrying me on an emotional rollercoaster every Saturday. I thank the actors for all of their hardwork to bring these characters alive for us fans. I thank the crew for thier hardwork as well. This series would not be forgotten any time soon by me.
P.S. The grandmother deserves an award as she was a scene stealer when she was in a scene.

I don't know what to even say
Okay. I watched Gen Y Season 1, where I rated it a 7 ( it originally is supposed to be a 6.5, but I was feeling generous as I wanted a season 2). And while the first season was a hot mess, it hade me entertained. I don't know what the heck this season was.Story- 3/10
I'm not going to break it down by characters like how I did in my previous review of season one, cause it doesn't make sense hwre to do it. What I am going to say is this- I honestly believe that this story could have been told with half of the episodes instead of the twelve. Like, those episodes really did not make sense or add to the story.
I got super annoyed with the whole Mark Kit situation. Thanu and Wayu also annoyed me as well. I would like to add that when something happened to a secondary couple that was supposed to impact on one of the main couples, I felt nothing for thier grief. And then this whole frickin build up with Thanu and Padbok and why hey were no longer friends to be just like a footnote in season 2- that don't sit right with me.
The ONLY saving grace for me was Thong and Pok as well as Jack and Koh. Unfortunately, we were oly blessed with very few scenes of them, which is unfortunate. So, just for these four characters, I'm gonna be generous and give them a 3.
Acting/ Cast-5/10
The storyline was crap, so I felt that thier acting wasn't brought out that well. I mean, I was happy for part of Mork and Kit and Thong and Pok as well as Jack and Koh. So, out of being generous agsin, I'll give them a 5.
Music-7/10
Since it's mostly the same music from season one, I'll give it the same score that I did for season one. Gonna give it a 7.
Rewatch Valu-2/10
I really,REALLY don't want to watch this series again. But if I am given the opportunity to watch snippets of some of the characters, I would. So, for that I give a 2.
Overall-4.5/10
Overall, I give this series a 4.5.
