What a joke Roof Top Prince the Winner??? Well the ppl have voted and I guess looks do really matter or only thing…
I know what you mean. I really don't understand how rooftop prince became so popular. It was boring for me.
And I don't understand what people find interesting in Yoochun.
But I guess to each his own.
RTP's fans were united and probably that's why it won.
I don't think it's easy to say who is good and who isn't in acting. Especially if we are biased and the role a person plays we don't like. And nobody can't be absolutely or even relatively objective we can only hope to be just a bit less subjective.
Who is really good we can only judge after seeing lots of different roles actor played. And when I say different I mean completely different personality.
On the other side I'm not too fond of idols (or maybe more correct would be if I say idol drama instead). Actually I think whole "idol product" concept is stupid. Yeah, for me it feels like those young people are company products, caged birds.
This drama definitely made an impression on me.
Maybe I shouldn't postpone anything for tomorrow anymore and start living in present. I should make that my New Year declaration.
Anyone noticed in 15th episode when Kim Jae Suk (that cute manager) and Gu Ae Jung's brother were talking about drinking wine with Jenny (3/4 of the episode) music in the background was from Secret Garden?
Nice article.
I live in a country where east and west were colliding for centuries. So both concepts about family and individuality are familiar to me.
I perfected my English watching shows and movies and I think I can do the same with Korean and Japaneses. Watching dramas is perfect way to do it. :)
Lol. Just few weeks ago I used a word I learned in Taiwanese drama.
I was in a shop owned by Chinese and I said thank you or at least I hope I did. Shopkeeper smiled brightly at me. :D
My first Asian drama was Fated to Love You. Heh.
But it didn't got me to watch more. It was tiring.
I haven't watched anything after that for almost two years.
I'm thinking of making my grandma a fellow addict. Though I have no idea where to start from. She doesn't know anything about Korea.
Can anyone recommend something?
She would probably like something family oriented and fun. Though she could probably watch something serious as long as it's not too sad. I don't want to make her depressed.
I feel that I voted unjustly since I haven't watched all 2012 dramas. :(
And I manly refer to The Moon that Embraces the Sun, Reply 1997 and The Bridal Mask. I usually leave the best for the end. It was really strange that I watched Queen In Hyun's Man but that may be because I watched Rooftop Prince and I needed an antidote. ;P
The most irritating characters for me on this list were Dong Wook & Hee Jin from Full House.
Different voting system would have been better, firstly because there is usually a drama that we haven't watched.
If we were able to rate each drama from 1-5 in each category, leaving it blank if we haven't watched it then results would have been very different.

But aside from that I really like some of them.
I didn't like it.
Even a movie would be enough.

He totally looks like a Vulcan.
And I think that Matsuda Shota as Severus Snape is a jackpot. XD
I'll see if this will fit her taste.

I like that last point.
