You are not the only one to think the same about Ren come back. I know the next episode he will create a misunderstanding…
Yup! This reminds me of a small discussion I had a while ago where a few of us disagreed on Ren being a "good person" because when he comes back, we'll see how much assholery he's actually capable of. I sound like such a hater πππ sorry, I'm just protective of Thyme x Gorya lmao.
Omg, episode 5 was so intense πππππ the way I felt so many emotions during it, from literally wanting to choke some characters through my screen to awwwing because of Thyme x Gorya moments, and crying ugly tears bc I felt so bad for Gorya. Waiting for next episode is going to be torture, and I'm going to sound like a bitter ass b*tch but I was literally cursing when Ren came back π and that preview, ughhh. Ren, baby boy, you already had your shot, now pls sit tf down and let Thyme run the show.
I really love how kind hearted Gorya is, as you can see it in her gestures. The way she felt bad for making Thyme wait and offering her umbrella, helping him and apologizing for making him ride the ferris wheel, and then apologizing once again when she shoved him away thinking he was tryna do something, then finally giving him medicine and taking care of him, aww <3
β ding! I'm familiar with the storyline and have seen clips here and there from the other versions but I have…
Yes, haha. I don't mind that much though. I'm a sucker for a little spoiler π and awwww how wonderful of your partner. it really is much more fun watching it with someone else. I watch with my sister and she's seen the Taiwanese version so she keeps blabbing but it's fun Lmao.
The only part that didn't land for me was saying Ren is a good person. He's only nice to certain people but when…
yess, exactly. People made him out to fit the narrative of a second lead syndrome because he treated Gorya better at the beginning or whatever, but truthfully, I never saw the "good person" everyone keeps talking about. He still stood by and watched all the bullying happened, and only stepped in when the victim interested him somewhat (Gorya). And ppl can defend him whatsoever on this part, but no matter how angry you are, you should NEVER lay your hands on anybody! especially during a time like that where he needed to use his head and not just follow his emotions. That scene showed how incapable he is when it comes to self control. Red flag. He's what Thyme called the bear in Ep 4: an opportunist. I don't know the whole BOF lore but I highly doubt Ren care for Gorya like that. If anything, Mira will always be #1 for him and Gorya will always just be a rebound. Thyme's a jackass at the start but he never hid any of that. He's a wolf inside and out. Plus, his growth is already looking pretty great. While Ren is a wolf in sheep's clothing, lmao I'm so sorry. I love you Dew <3
I am really interested in this. I wonder, is there anybody here who is watching this story for the first time…
β ding! I'm familiar with the storyline and have seen clips here and there from the other versions but I have never watched any of it, so I have no idea how the sequence of events will play out.
I keep coming back to the name of the EP4 "Broken Door" and what it might represent metaphorically in the story.…
I don't have any insights either to what it might represent symbolically, but hopping onto what you already said, "Broken Door" my first thought went to when they were at the fire escape and they got locked in because they couldn't open the door which lead to both of them spending the night there and getting to know each other better in a sense. But I'm still not sure which one the title is more referencing to, or maybe they correlate with one another? Would like someone else's input on this.
THANK YOU. I've said this before, but Flower Shop Uncle doesn't get nearly enough coverage on this forum lolol
yess! The show/producers is so self aware, I'm amazed. Maybe that's why I like it as much as I do so far. Things that sounds/would come off cringy in retrospect, comes out so much better than expected. Just like the said quote, the show really does know how to draw a line between these things as well... if that even makes any sense Lmaoo.
THANK YOU. I've said this before, but Flower Shop Uncle doesn't get nearly enough coverage on this forum lolol
Honestly! I was waiting for somebody to mention him bc that line cracked me tf up, but he's forreal such a wholesome character who really cares for the pair (Gorya/Kaning).
