i finally completed it after half a year of being stick in the ep 9. had to play it in 2x speed. the second half was really awful that it made me forgot how much i liked the first few episodes of the drama
small gestures really make big impacts and this move proved it right for me. really loved the characterization of yong jun. he's such an adorable dude whose feelings towards yeoreum is all just love and affection. here are some of the scenes where his small gestures made huge impact on me: 1. the scene where yeorum gets a call from the hospital she rushes to there. i expected yongjun to follow her like any other male lead does whenever they see their girl rushing but he didnt. he instead respected her privacy 2. the scene where they were yeongjun told him to not come and see them ever again. after arguing with him, she was heading towards the gate (?) and i expected him to go grab her wrist and the start talking about why she doesnt want them to be friends anymore like it's usually shown in kdramas but he instead ran towards her front. no force done here. 3. when his friend suggested him that he can instead go to her and beg her to not break their friendship but he took yeorum's "no" as an answer.
hong kyung really did justice to he character of yongjun. he's an amazing actor for sure!
finished the drama just now and now i know why it has such high ratings. not only it has amazing vfx effects and story line, it also portrays some actual non-toxic relations between lovers. it's kinda rare to find these types of storyline. also, non abusive parents and it portrayed kid's and parent's love for each other really well too
what did he do in s1?? i have forgotten everything 😭
he sneaked into the island without anyone's help, found his lost brother, found proof of the games being played illegally (even tho the videos didnt get sent).
completed it just now and it really didnt disappoint me in any episodes. all the characters were loveable (not talking abt mirae's office workers), well written and the story healed a lot of us.
finishing the last season is making me miss the s1 and it's character a lot. all the characters were really well written with all of them having great backstory. and junho.. the only thing he did in s2 and 3 was serve his face card, nothing more than that. in s1, he at least accomplished something.
AND PEOPLE ALWAYS AND SPECIALLY SUPPORT ACTOR . NOT ACTRESS. IF ANY ACTRESS HAVE TOO MANY LACKING THEN EVERYONE…
i agree. that's a sad reality of real life too. in dramas, whenever a female lead is mistreated by someone else than the male lead (yes the male lead can do whatever he wants to do with the girl) people go and say that the fl deserves justice and the one who mistreated her deserves to die. but when that happens irl, people quite often support the male.
People saying ksh can't act is getting ridiculous. she is been acting since she is a child, this girl knows how…
real. if a male actor is playing the character of quite and nonchalant people go and praise them saying they did a really good job with their role but when it comes to a female, they usually go an hate the actor for being "unexpressive" and call them a bad actress. like tf? it's how the character is.
