oh welcome to the kdrama world then! ive been watching kdramas since april 2023 if i remember correctly. you've watched quite a lot dramas considering that u only started 4 months ago lol. but its so fr that 2521 is full of emotions. it's one of my fav shows.
the plot kinda reminds me of "jeongnyeon: the star is born". modern dramas set in 1960-90's are usually pretty interesting to me. i'll definitely check it out.
i rly liked the first 14 episodes of the drama. but after ah sa-nyeo was introduced, the plot felt dragged. the osts were really good, i still love them all. "when i saw you" has gotta be one my the best kdrama osts for me. also, mawang was an interesting character. liked him a lot. the cgi.. lets not talk abt it.
the first half was extremely boring. i had dropped it at least 3 times before reaching the 2nd half. but the 2nd half was pretty good. i'd rate the 2nd half (8/10) but cuz of the boring 1st half, it's overall a 6.5/10 for me

i dont get how a person can love someone for 15 years when they didnt even have a real conversation. it's not being 'loser in love' but instead being totally obsessed lol. he didnt even feel like a character at a lot of times. abt sol's lack of character depth, i need not to mention them as they are already mentioned abt. the OSTs were pretty good (i still love them), the bright summery vibes was pretty good as well but overall, it was an infuriating show with flaws that i cant overlook. maybe cuz it was one of my first dramas, and i loved it in my first watch (only after a year i recalled there were a lot of things that was missing), ive given it pretty much high ratings than i think it deserves. i liked ur review a lot! ive never found the exact words i needed to describe the flaws of LR but with ur review, yes those were the exact words i needed. and i think it wasnt mentioned above (or maybe i missed it), i believe that the drama's writing was kinda ableist. they only used sol's disability as a plot device.

i at first thought that the drama may not be of my liking and didnt really think to check it out when it was airing but the cinematography, cast and characters seemed pretty interesting so i started it without any expectations. gotta say it was actually good and didnt let me down. it's perfect watch for a cold day haha

true. i do check our rom-com shows from time to time but yeh some js make me feel too miserable for their corniness. and ofc the same type of characters make it predictable too. one of the reasons why i liked hello my twenties a lot was cuz it introduced new types of characters with unique backstories and traumas. its been my favorite kdrama for a while now
