My jaw literally dropped when Zhang Hao got announced as rank 1. Hanbin has always been placing first from the very beginning but I think Zhang Hao really deserved getting the 1st rank. Both Hanbin and Zhang Hao are both amazing but Zhang Hao has really been doing his absolute 100% with his delivery during his performances and all.

Although the final line up is very talented there are some people that deserve an apology by Mnet. Jongwoo, Keita, Hui and Jay all deserved so much better and not gonna lie they were heavily used by Mnet.

Also I'm never getting over the fact that out of the final line-up only two of the members are from the G-group ( about 22% ). But it's Mnet so it was called for.

I find it so weird that Tutor is a part of the cast when there are just 3 episodes left of the drama and he hasn't even had a single appearance yet.

I mean it's possible for him to still appear in the upcoming episodes but wouldn't that make him a guest role and not a support?

So, I just finished watching ep 7 and here are my thoughts on it.

Law:
Why would I ever doubt such talented men, I knew that they would eat the stage and that's exactly what they did. All of them suit the vibe of the song very well and I honestly have nothing bad to say about any of them. They had the perfect energy throughout the whole performance and even the parts that they choreographed themselves fit the song perfectly.
I think that the reason they looked so professional on stage was because of how hard Hanbin had been on them. He was strict, made them practice 24/7 and pushed them to their limits. But it's because of this endless practice that made them look so good.
I felt really happy for Yujin when he got complimented by the mentors. We all know how sometimes the evaluations didn't go well for him and he felt very down, he always pulled off performances really well. I think that these compliments can help Yujin become more confident in himself because he has what it takes to be a good idol.

Man In Love:
I'm gonna be completely honest, none of the members in this group had previously caught my eye before. Tae Rae might have been the only one because of his performance in "Back Door" but other than that I didn't really have any expectations for the others. But now I am regretting not paying attention to any of them. I was so shocked to hear how stable everyone's vocals were and they sounded so beautiful when they were singing.
Tae Rae was just a ball of sunshine throughout the entire performance and the boys literally looked like they were glowing. And holy shit Tae Rae went full on with those high notes. Mingyu's voice sounded a little shaky when he first started singing but for some reason I liked it and it sounded good. I can't believe that I had never paid attention to such talented singers.

Rush Hour:
( sighs as loudly as humanly possible )
I don't even know where to start. It was quite obvious to see that this team was having it rocky and one of the reasons might have been the clear differences in skill levels.
They didn't look like an actual team during the whole time they performed. It was as if they were doing this for themselves and just themselves only. First of all, everyone had a very different dance style and it was easy to see that they hadn't fully understood the meaning behind the sound. There were certain members that were smiling and had a bubbly stage presence while others were trying to bring forward a sexy performance. I was also very quick to notice the lack of practice, they were barely in sync and they all had their own dancing styles as well. A lot of the trainees were also quite stiff during the dance in the choreo. Their vocals and rap were quite good but their stage presence and dance ruined the whole vibe.
I was also quite visibly mad with the whole Ma Jing Xiang thing. It might be true that some members are a little slower at learning but that doesn't mean you can leave the group and start practicing on our own. This is not the first time he has done this and I'm mad about how he hasn't learned from it yet. As a team they should be practicing together so they that can better improve their teamwork while on stage but Ma Jing Xiang didn't even give a fuck about anyone other than himself. I was just so disgusted by how he continued to dance on his own even though the whole team surrounded him asking to stop or the way he was so rude to Ricky just for touching him. He even cut off the leader who wanted to solve the conflicts by trying to talk, and what dumb excuse does he use? "We need to practice". He even got mad when Ricky was trying to teach him the choreo when Ricky was just doing his fucking job! Ma Jing Xiang is just so rude and even the smallest amount of respect I had for him has tarnished.

Limousine:
Walking away from that dreadful scene, the "Limousine" group had some of the best teamwork. I think it was nice that there were only 3 members, this way they could communicate with each other better. They all planned out everything well and all had a great chemistry. They also didn't feel discouraged when they received bad comments and Ji Hoo took the advice to make his lines better.
I am also really happy about how we are actually getting to see the nice side of Krystian. They evil edited him so badly during the previous episodes and I was mad at Mnet for it. Krystian's true charms and talents were finally shown to everyone and I am so happy that people are finally starting to realize it.
I loved their performance. Everything from the stage presence, the rap, vocals and the emotions. They roasted Mnet good and hard and they didn't hold back. The lyrics they wrote were so touching and you could really feel what they were trying to convey. Mnet is such an ass for editing out Ji Hoo earlier, this man is so talented. I do have to say Anthonny sounded a little unstable during the beginning but he fixed it up during the end.
This is very off topic but I thought that it was really cute how Krystian put his head on Anthonny's shoulders while they were waiting for their points.

Feel Special:
( sighs again )
This was another one of those groups that just made me so disappointed. First of all what was with Zhang Shuai Bo's idiotic behaviour during the evaluation. I don't know where he even got the balls to do something so rude infront of Sol Ji, I know that I wouldn't be able to handle her stare. Shuai Bo was being such a coward, saying that he just couldn't sing. He didn't even bother to try even though he was given the option to sing a key lower. A KEY LOWER!! That's got to be the happiest news a singer can ever hear. I myself have been learning singing for 11 years and I know that if I asked to sing a key lower, my teacher would beat the absolute shit out of me. Shuai Bo should be grateful that he is even given such an option.
Woong Gi was the only one who was sincere and I was ready to punch someone when all the other members said all those things about him. Woong Gi alone created a meaningful choreo and he explained the meaning behind everything to his members very clearly. So how the fuck could they blame their incompetence on him? They said " Woong Gi didn't even bother to explain the choreo properly, of course we would mess up" right in front of Woong Gi himself.
I am going to give an earful to every fucking idiot that gave a point to Shuai Bo and not to Woong Gi. The only person in that entire group who deserved the points is Woong Gi and just him alone. He sang the entire chorus not once but twice, he sang the bridge, he choreographed, took the killing part and he was the only one who was able to interpret the song properly. What has this man not done to get first place.

Not Spring, Love Or Cherry Blossoms:
I was kind of concerned for the members of this group because things haven't been the best for them but they have all proved me wrong. I have always thought that Lee Da Eul is an absolute brat and that he would never learn but I actually feel like he is changing ( at least I hope he is changing and this isn't just Mnet trying to make Da Eul look good ). Da Eul for once looked like he was taking this seriously. I started crying when Da Eul first got the killing part because I thought it would end really bad but he was a lot better than I thought he would be. He actually has a very nice voice, which I just never seemed to notice before.
Everyone had an amazing voice during the performance and all of them were able to prove that they have the abilities. I-Chan could definitely work a little more on his expressions but all in all it was a good performance.

Butterfly:
They initially made a lot of mistakes during the practice which I definitely understand. Butterfly is not an easy song to sing but they learned from their mistakes and the mentors helped them fix their mistakes. Butterfly is not only a hard song to sing but also to dance because of the way the moves are but they all did it so well. Brian was just made for this song all the way through and his soft vocals made me get goosebumps. Kuan Jui's dance was just mind blowing and he kind of reminded me of Jimin when he danced. Cong also had great vocals and he was able to hit the high notes relatively well.
I felt really bad for Jun Seo because he had practiced so hard but things didn't end very well. He still didn't lose his confidence and continued to perform.

Tomboy:
Do I even need to go into this. We all knew that it was going to be good. This entire group is made up of some of the best trainees in Boys Planet of course it would be good. I don't even think that I need to elaborate on this performance because it was perfect.
I honestly thought that Zhang Hao and Hanbin's relationship was so cute. They were always there for each other. Not just those two but everyone helped each other when they were feeling down. I felt sad that Zhang Hao felt that he couldn't do anything for the group because everyone else was so talented but he was able to have a talk and he contributed a lot. Hanbin was also feeling down but he was also able to talk about his feelings and let it go.

That's all I have to say. Sorry for swearing, I don't usually turn to swearing but I just felt that I had to do it.

Is there a reason why there are Thai subs whenever Drake speaks?
I thought that he was speaking Thai but it doesn't make sense to have subs then. I've just got into Thai dramas so I don't really know much about it.

I was busy studying for a math test this week so I was only able to watch ep 6 last night, Anyways these are my thoughts on the latest episode.

I like that we are kind of drifting away from the entire K-group vs G-group. This time around the trainees are not limited with who they are allowed to be in a team with and the two groups are finally able to "mingle" if I put it that way.
I kind of wished the group distributing would have been a bit better, there were certain groups with 3 K-group trainees and 1 G-group trainee or the other way around. But then again it is a step that Mnet made and I'm happy about it.

Talking about the performances that were shown, starting off with "Gang". During all of the epsiodes that have aired I had never really paid much attention to Lee Seunghwan. I knew who he was and I knew that he had the skills but I was never really that interested towards him but during this performance I was able to see that he had so much potential. He was into the concept really well and he looked professional while he was on stage and I'd like to say that he deserved every single point that he got. It was a very good decision to give him the killing part in my opinion. In fact everyone in the "Gang" group did very well and I don't have any complaints about any of them.

On to the "Zoom" team, even though Hanbin had made a couple mistakes during the self-evaluation he didn't let those negative comments ruin his morale. He wanted to continue to prove that he was worthy of the killing part and I'm very happy that he didn't back out of it. During the previous mission if a group realized that their killing part wasn't going so well, they changed the members. But here everyone in the "Zoom" group was willing and trusted Hanbin which shows that they all have a very good teamwork and they trust each other's skills.
There are probably a lot of people that might have wanted Keita to get the killing part and I'm just gonna say that as talented and able Keita is, the killing part wouldn't suit him. Keita was made for the rap in "Zoom" and it should stay that way.
Everyone also had a great stage presence and I was able to focus on each and every member.

I want to bow down and worship Jongwoo, that man is absolutely crazy. I just realized how good of a leader this man could be. He guided each member and he helped them no matter what, even though he might have been feeling a little down. I also like how he didn't feel discouraged when the mentors said that their performance hadn't been so good during the evaluation. He understood the assignment and was able to create a beautiful choreo that not only showed the true beauty of the song but also captured each member's talent beautifully.
Jongwoo could be such a record-breaking idol if he were to ever debut. He immerses himself into the song and concept so well that you know he will never disappoint. He was able to pull off such a hard song as Back Door and he pulled off Home as well??!! How is this the same man that got just 1 star?! I tell you this guy could pull off any and every concept and he would eat the entire performance leaving no crumbs behind. Also the part when he hugged Seung Eon, I am screaming! His acting and facial expressions are just so on point.
I liked how Seung Eon continued to sing the whole song with so much confidence even though he slightly messed up. He was able to get right back up and deliver a very good performance. He redeemed himself so well that at some point I had even forgotten that he had made a mistake.
I don't have any complaints about this performance, they all looked like an actual group that had been together for so long, they all complimented each other very well. And Jay slayed the stage as usual. I will never ever have anything to say against his vocals.
( I kind of like how this turned into Jongwoo worship but moving on)

I thought that it was very new and fresh to have someone such as Matthew as the leader and in fact he was much better than I thought he would be. He looked very stressed in the beginning but he was able to talk to Ji Woong about it. Everyone in the group also suits the concept very well. Matthew may look like a cute little dumpling but he actually knows how to pull off dark and sexy vibes. I was also surprised to see how well Gyubin pulled off the "Love Killa" concept. Even though it started off very rocky things went very well during the end. They were able to show a very good performance.
I am only so slightly skeptical about Ji Woong. He is very talented but I'm just unsure about how well he would be able to show other concepts. Because in my mind I only picture him doing sexy concepts and I'm pretty sure others might as well. He is a very sweet and nice person but I don't think he can show that cute side of him so well on stage. In my opinion a good idol is someone who can show any concept. I personally think that being an actor suits Ji Woong better but I hope that he can prove me wrong in the upcoming missions because he is very talented.

We aren't going to be able to see "Tomboy" until next week but it's the one I'm looking forward to the most. I feel like we need to take some time to just talk about Zhang Hao. He is quite literally an ace. He can sing, dance, rap, play violin and his Korean pronunciation is so good. It's amazing how fast he can learn things and adapt accordingly. Like the mentors said "He's a miracle from China" and I hope other people that see that as well. He is quite literally a miracle to the entire K-pop industry as well. I hope he can debut and make his dreams come true because he has the potential.

For once it felt that the voting were fair. I think that everyone who had gotten the highest points in their respective groups completely deserved it and I feel relieved to know that the votes weren't as biased or crazy as they were last time. ( at least for now they are not )

I also feel like we need to give an honorable mention to Lip-J and Baek Koo Young, they are just so funny. It's always Lip-J just falling for the trainees and Koo Young trying to hold her back. It's like the little kid who starts running when they see toys and their mom trying to stop them. I just love their duo.

That's all I have to say about this week's episode.

This series is not what I thought it was. I like the actors and the plot about being "bed friends". However now…
Same, I absolutely love the plot and how everything is going but I'm not a fan of all the trauma that is being shown. I think if they really wanted to have Uea with a dark past they should have kept it simple with only one incident. The abusive mom, uncle and ex-boyfriend is just way too much to handle.

Lee Da Eul even just surviving is the biggest joke to me right now. Like I'm starting to question every single idiot that gave him that vote and the fact that he was that high to begin with is just crazy. There are so many other people that are so much better than him.

I am so glad that he realized just how bad he is during the speech when he said that he didn't deserve this. I'm glad you know that mister because you really don't deserve this. He doesn't take anything seriously, he was basically laughing when he messed up during the vocal check, he didn't even try. He can't seem to realize that his ability will determine his future. He thinks of this as a joke.He is like a bratty child that thinks that he can get his own way.

Also the way he became the leader for the group is just crazy, and I hate how the other trainees felt that they couldn't speak up against him because he had gotten such a high rank. There were so many other candidates that could have been a better leader than Da Eul.

I also got quite angry when Da Eul mentioned why he had chosen those specific trainees for his groups. " I chose the people that have helped me so far", I literally puked listening to that. So he chose them so that they can help him against and let me ask, has he taken any of their advice, has he improved by listening to them. No, because he doesn't give a damn about anyone other than him and because of him the rest of the team members were affected.

I am so pissed, like this is what happens when you give fans the full freedom to choose their group, you get a bunch of untalented that outshine those that actually have true talent. Please just let the mentors do their job and let them choose, they are there for a reason.
