Don't know what the f the director filming and script writer shitty plot the 1-26 , i love ycy but this show like…
I totallly understand what you mean. I had anticipated this drama for so long and I was so excited to watch it because of YCY but I got over the 15th episode mark, I started losing it. It started feeling very dragged and I started to find it hard to even finish one episode.
This drama is just full of red-flags for me so that's made it even harder. I absolutely hate misunderstandings, annoying and meaningless characters, and the whole "the FL is innocent but everyone blames her and she becomes evil" is just such a big no for me.
Qing Ke and Zhenzhu are probably the only pure hearted people in the entire immortal sect. Everyone else are literal bugs. One day I'm gonna bring bug spray and spray them all with it.
I just can't get over the number of arrogant characters in this drama.
And the Councilor Sage someone please rip him off that rank he doesn't deserve that title. As an immortal their goal is to enlighten people and help them realize the good inside of them. They should be able to help the evil get rid of all the negative energy and become a positive person, the only time you should kill them is if there is no other way for him/her to become better. And the dumb Councilor Sage is like go and kill any demon you see, also when Chong Zi first came he said that he wouldn't keep her because of her demon breathe.
He had one f*cking job and he couldn't even do that. He's no different from a demon, killing people like that when in fact he could help them come to the good side.
Watching episode 24 and I'm like.....Omg someone kill Ting Xue for me!!! That f*cking ungrateful bitch!! 😡😡😡😡
I swear to god she is so annoying, walking around like she is something. She is so ungrateful, the only reason she is still alive and not dying on the streets and she doesn't even bother to be grateful to her benefactors. She is just so immature for hating Chong Zi as well, like please grow up.
She should be grateful that she can live such a carefree life and just do the damn job she was told to do.
Forget about the drama right now, all I'm concerned about right now is the fact all all of these boys that are the main couples are from the same group and they can sing!!??
How did I not know this, istg these Thai actors be surprising me all the time.
I am just so damn annoyed by everyone accusing Chong Zi or using her as a scapegoat for all their problems just…
Edit: I knew there was something wrong with that snake when Yinfan brought it back, I hoped it would change for the better but I guess that was just never meant to be. ( still on ep 14 )
I am just so damn annoyed by everyone accusing Chong Zi or using her as a scapegoat for all their problems just because she has the demon breathe. I'm currently watching episode 14 and I am literally losing brain cells because of all these immortals. Throughout the entire story the Councilor Sage kept accusing Chong Zi of siding with the demons and I am so glad that Yinfan didn't hold back and actually stood up against him.
Taking the incident when Chong Zi was with Wang Yue in the forest, there were a bunch of dead immortals and the Councilor started getting himself on her and wouldn't shut up about how "she was the one who killed all the immortals". WHERE IS THAT BRAIN AT!??!. In no angle does Chong Zi have enough powers to kill her own peer, and I can't believe he goes around saying a bunch of shit with no actual evidence. Who even made him the councilor in the first place. And what is which all the aggressive pointing that he does, I swear to god it makes me sick. He looks like a little toddler that throws a tantrum because they weren't allowed to do something they wanted.
Yes it's true that Chong Zi became friends and hung out with a bunch of demons who would potentially betray her, but that doesn't mean she is a bad person and it certainly doesn't mean that shes colluding with them or something.
I also just find Miaoyuan to be a very annoying character, shes not evil but she's just really annoying. I hate that she can't get rid of her grudges and no matter how many times her seniors and master tell her to let go of her status as a princess in the mortal world she still can't seem to let go. The very first thing that was told to them when they entered Nanhua was to let go of their previous status and that everyone is equal, yet Miaoyuan still thinks and expect everyone to follow and listen to what she says.
The way that Miaoyuan absolutely hates Chong Zi is also very disgusting. She gets mad after seeing Qin Ke with her and she doesn't try to look at both sides of the story. I just don't think that she deserves such a position as a senior when she can't even put aside her own feelings. And just like the Councilor she thinks that everything related to the demons has something to do with Chong Zi as well.
I think that at the end of the day the reason why Chong Zi's demon breathe acted up and took control of her is because no one was willing to listen to her side the story and actually believe her.
Am I even surprised at this point, like stop using the poor girl just because you failed in doing your duties as the immortals. ( Also yes I know I'm way far behind, being only on the 14th episode. We don't talk about that. )
After facing such disappointment from Boys Planet this show is just amazing. There are so many groups that I absolutely…
It's also really nice to get away from the other types of survival shows and finally be able to see professional and experienced idols that actually know how to kill a stage. No hate against trainees that are in other survival shows, but some of them really don't know how to handle a stage professionally.
After facing such disappointment from Boys Planet this show is just amazing. There are so many groups that I absolutely love but they have never been recognized even after having such amazing talent. People always seem to forget about the less popular groups and some have probably never even heard of their names and I like how they have taken the initiative to help these idol groups. This show just gives them such a big opportunity to show that they can reach the same height as other groups if they are given the opportunity to prove it.
I just saw the first episode and I like how there was no type of nasty editing that was trying to show some kind of rivalry between the groups and there was no rivalry between them to begin with either. Everyone was really supportive of each other, whether it was giving each other small compliments after a performance or hyping each other up while someone was performing.
I've recently just started watching the drama and I am kind of confused right now. Yin Fan and Chong Zi are both immortals and although it is normal for immortals to walk around the streets of "the mortal world" I've never actually seen a drama where they open display their powers to everyone. Usually they go out pretending that they are normal humans and if they ever have to use their powers they preferably do it when there is little to no one around. The reason they do that is to probably protect themselves and the humans from knowing that in fact there are immortals in the world.
But Yin Fan is out publicly using his powers and no one around him is showing any surprised expressions. Like is it that normal to see a man with powers like that on your streets that you are so unbothered by it.
Overall I am really digging the story and it is the perfect type of style for me so I am really looking forward to watching the other episodes. I just don't really like how the editing is sometimes chopping and becomes obvious that scenes have been cut out, but other than that it doesn't really disappoint.
I just can't get over how biased Mnet is towards K-groups. I just finished ep 4 and there were so many incidents when K-group got the privilege even though G-group was clearly better. I don't mean to look down on any trainees but there were a few times when a person from the K-group got more points than from G-group even though the person from G did the part much better.
Mnet seems to keep emphasizing the fact that G-group "are the new force to k-pop". Well if you believe that so strongly they should have done a better job in letting those trainees also shine just as much as the Korean trainees. Think about the time during the most recent ep where even the mentors said that G-group had a better execution, yet K-group still won the votes. There are some amazing trainees from group G such as Zhang Hao, Matthew, Jay, etc. And even though their talent is shown very well, they never seem to be shown as well as those from the K-group. Both the groups have some amazingly talented trainees but the two groups should be shining equally.
Being this biased would probably crush some of the foreign trainees' dreams moving on because they think that they will never be recognized properly for their talents.
I am also not a big fan of how the chance of the trainees debuting is so dependent on the voting. I think that this ruins the entire point of the survival show. The trainees come to such a show so that their talent and skills can be assessed by professional and experienced idols, mentors, trainers, etc, and it should be such experienced individuals that evaluate each members ability. Yes the viewers should also be given some opportunity to vote but it shouldn't be such a big influence.
I think that once you get over the super tacky intro and the sort of cheap looking production, the drama might not be as bad as it seems. I feel like it could be something light to watch when bored and just need something to keep you busy.
I just feel like they didn't quite do justice to Li Hongyi especially after seeing The Blood of Youth it feels like Youku hasn't let him reach his full potential. His character just seems a little bland after seeing him play such a powerful character in The Blood of Youth.
Disclaimer: I have only seen 2 episodes so far so this is just my input based on what I have seen. So if you have other opinions because you have seen more episodes please share your opinions.
Is it just me that felt that the editing for the first episode was kind of choppy? It felt as if there were a couple scenes that were cut out.
It wasn't anything really big where it felt like you missed a big part of the story but it was definitely easy to see that a scene had been removed.
( but i guess it kind of makes sense to do that considering how the 1st ep was already 51 mins long and would have been much longer if some scenes weren't removed )

Thanks a lot, so far everywhere I've looked I couldn't find the first part. Thank you so much!

We are getting a whole Cutie Pie reunion right here and we have Boss from Love In the Air. Is there anything else I could have asked for?
Anyway the visual trailer looked really good, and it's about zombies so I don't have anything to complain about.
( still on ep 14 )
