The Turk arc is gonna be episodes 20-26 (as of now), the previews are really setting us up for their love story and the plot is developing well! I really can't wait anymore. I need it to be next week already!!

Me too (probably cuz I'm biased), but that doesn't mean I'll be blind. They struck me as respect and (not entirely) hatred turned to mutual romance for eachother as the story progresses which is why I love them! (This goes both ways in the drama and manhua)

*cries in diff languages* but I do believe that they will have a real kiss unless the director lied WHICH IS LIKELY BUT SKADWEFHFWHIW

Yeah, it's honestly getting on my nerves but I'm just gonna ignore it considering it's better to just support the drama than think about negative stuff going on.

There's been alot of debate over the CP of the main couple and honestly I find it really amusing because I'm loving their interactions, call me biased or whatever since I'm a fan of Dilraba, but the development of their love story is really noteworthy. I'll explain why and add some similarities to the manhua. Many people have noticed that Ashile Sun seem to have fallen head over heels for Li Changge fast and believes that it's rushed. From my perspective, this ties to the fact that in any drama ━ MLs are supposed to love the MCs and vice versa. When Sun finds out that Changge is actually a girl early on (in the drama), he sees her as a woman and treats her so which is closely similar to the manhua because in the beginning he only regards her as his sworn brother though that changes when he realizes she's a girl. With that revelation, Sun starts to shift ━ he's different because of Changge and starts to develop feelings for her, if y'all are confused or still think it doesn't make sense then one thing I'll say is that love is a very complex emotion which is why we don't really comprehend how people fall in love so easily. On the other hand, Changge doesn't seem to be too affected by it, but the drama hints that she's in a complicated situation on how she feels for Sun. This is could tie in with her ambition for revenge, hence why she's unsure and her goal from the very beginning was to kill Li Shimin for massacring her family, although that changes (both in drama and manhua). The development of their loveline is somewhat a slow burn (you may disagree or agree), but that's how I see it. Hell, we haven't even gotten an official kiss scene, but much of their intimate scenes are only up to hugs! I honestly see that as a build up and a realistic sense because most dramas I've watched are already to the lovey dovey, but The Long Ballad is different. The drama is about Changge's revenge and the romance part is just an added spice for the plot to move forward and I've said (if I didn't then now I will) ━ her ambition is far important because it will change as shown in the manhua and will be shown in the drama.

It's because of historical accuracies that's why they changed it.

I honestly love them! I like the pacing of their loveline too!
