i share the same sentiment. it had a good promising start until it weren't. strangely the main police guy ended up being the character i'm most annoyed with. he admitted due to his ego, he can't let them go - his superior even asked: so what about other crimes? other criminals? and yet he spent all his time focusing on these bunch of criminals like other crimes doesn't seem to matter.
what i really find shocking was how he 'talked' the survived victim into joining the force - right, good choice for ptsd patients. yep, he needs another team mate - no need to consider the victim's feeling. sorry, i just find that it was plain brainwashing in your face.
i also expected more of the villains. if they want to this kind of thriller/murder genre, do it properly. spend some time on building characters, build up scenarios and scenes, and most importantly, stop copying work/ideas from other films. shame, it has some good actors and good cinematography work.
Frankly speaking, webtoon setting was more frightening than the drama or probably because I was aware of the story.
i assumed the webtoon has more various chracters and stories, and what's in the series was probably just a few of them? would love that they consider s2, s3 and so forth
I sincerely hope they will consider season 2! this could start a spinoff culture! SDJ - IS a controversial character to begin with and I can totally understand many has beef about him (from Strangers series) but I do think this gives a perspective from SDJ's pov. anyway, to me, the actors were great and the characterisation did not disappoint, just simply enjoying a drama with good actors. am now rewatching Strangers while waiting new episodes to drop.
it's really hard to rate this one especially it seems like hardly anyone could understand the whole picture but there's no denial about the performances
Amazing acting, really makes you think and be grateful for the life that you have and to be confident in the decisions…
i was thinking the same as well, as in an episode of his side of the story. was really impressed with Mike He, hasn't seen his work for a long time now but glad to see he has aged well with his acting.
held 50 mins into the first episode, despite having some veteran actors, this is really unbearable to watch. maybe because they had to rewrite/re-edit the story? don't know but there were too many aspects leave me with sighs.
and his acting is pretty good

we shouldn't missed guest casts like Kim Roe Ha and Choi Young Joon from the list.
I love this stellar casting, please give us a season 2!
