Thanks to all who left comments here. Definitely dropping this (finished ep6 - after all cats are out of the bag) :) would have continue watching if people like Yi Hyun and Min Gi were still on the show. Would be nice if shows like this had mixed of personalities like they both.
So thankful got to watch this in the cinema. 100% worth it! All actors did a fantastic job, special shoutout to Im Siwan for playing such a role, feels he is best suited for role like this. And Song Kang Ho oh my, indeed A-class veteran actor that never disappoints!
Was contemplating to watch at first but surprisingly got hooked after the first few episodes due to the crazy characters LOLs. Gotta give credit to the writer and PD for creating such crazy psycho bunch of characters. Some part of me can absolutely relate to them as people like that do appear in reality, real scenes of greed in the working world.
Anyhow really love Lee Hye Young (Ki Mo Ran) , she aced the show with her great performance and really love her styling!!
I was expecting for a twist on who was actually behind the stock purchase (the guest role of Young-Jin's mom in ep 10) thought Ki Mo Ran was doing the legwork on behalf of someone.
Am I the only one who felt the last two episodes were bit rushed? Was crying my eyes out in the episodes before. Really glad that they (director/writer) took their time slowly to walk us through the story and each characters. I wished they had a few more episodes (>16) . This is one of those who deserves more than 16 episodes. Such a good storytelling piece.
Surprisingly this is quite entertaining and good. They’ve got solid actors, story is simple yet interesting to watch. Hope they will be making season 2 of this, there’s a good potential
Was going through the comments to see why show like this didn’t receive a higher rating. Indeed to some, the cases were quite repetitive, many dramas and films have covered some of these actual crimes. However I’d still give credit to this show. Considering the little details they’ve added and the casts even up to guest roles. Must say, they did a good job with casting Kim Jung Hee (Nam Gi Tae) I’d love if they will do a second season of this.
a lot are saying after episode 8 it got boring, well that’s also when main couple finally become couple, for…
I agree with you about AHS, he caught my attention in his last few shows (he was definitely better in Abyss at least) but strangely he’s bit lacking in this one. And am I the only one who felt the opposite about his chemistry with the female lead? Second leads are definitely better. On the side note, I’ve noticed lately that some male actors tend to perform better when they are with a stronger female lead so hopefully he will do well in the next one
this is just a personal opinion, many might disagree, some might agree :)
to me, this is a well-written piece. it's a story about one's first love, friendship and growth. i liked the story-telling and how it focuses on the characters development vs just another drama. this is one of those rare gems.
i enjoyed the fact that it's like a trip to memory lane - taking some of us back to our younger days, being foolish and reckless (being our true self) it brought back those feelings of having crush on our seniors, can't tell what is really love (vs like, we're only 18! 19?) how we grew from failure and hardships how we then learned about liking someone, what it really means falling in love with someone then breaking up with someone, that we really like (love)
however i do admit, this is so rare that one really have to start and keep going until the end without a break. how most of us stayed and waited, that actually breaks the momentum in my opinion. (will rewatch this during the summer!)
and for those who got crushed by the ending, whether or not it delivered the answer you were expecting, try to think of it as you are now going through the "breakup" - the agony you were feeling when watching the last few episodes? (korean saying) It's okay, cry and rant all about it. and once you're over it, you'll then remember the sweetness it brought you :)
and one last thing to add, Kim Tae-Ri. my god, she's really Good.
i was wondering the same! and really wondered how come other sites did not have this show subbed/available in…
it's good to know that the show was doing well! there are a lot good show from these platforms lately, hopefully we won't get to missed out because that. sigh, will just have sit back and wait then
I just saw that all 8 episodes of season 2 are out. Did anyone already check the sub quality? In season 1 there…
i was wondering the same! and really wondered how come other sites did not have this show subbed/available in their site, is it because it's low rated in korea?
As someone who has worked in the criminal justice system, this show is frustratingly accurate. The justice system…
Gosh it really saddens me hearing it from you (as someone from the industry). Well could say I’m naive (or rather hopeful) there’s still somewhat a fair system. But I’m glad they did a remake of this, just to paint the reality to citizens that it could go really ugly and devastating even if you’re really innocent. This is a hard scary fact of reality :( but thank you for sharing this info.
