Yay! yes, please do let me know :3
I've seen some people fangirling over that Aaron Yan on the foruns a couple times, and I googled him and thought he looked cute but wasn't that big a deal. I guess some people you just have to watch rather than look at pictures to be able to join their fangirl club lol
My life story with Kame... At first I saw some pictures and was like "oh come on, this guy isn't that great", but then I saw him in action and was instantly hooked >_>''
oh Kame-sama <3 hehehe
btw, what is your favorite Miura Haruma drama? So far I've only seen Last Cinderella. Bloody Monday has been sitting on my PTW since forever though. Have you ever listened to Brash Brats? \o/

Oh yeah, Just You has crossed my radar quite a few times already, I thought of adding it to my PTW list, but for some reason I would aways end up ignoring it. Probably it's because it's 21 episodes long... I don't like long dramas very much, especially if each ep is over an hour long. It just feels that somewhere around the middle the story grows thin and then the writers start stalling and coming up with lame sub-plots to fill up the remaining air time and that usually spoil the drama for me. Of course, there are exceptions for that, some say there are very good long dramas out there, just none that I have seen personally hehe Is the plot for Just You enough to fill up 21 episodes or does it start to sragin the middle?
Anyway I'm always looking for good comedies, so I'll give that one a shot too :)

Oh I see what you mean. Sometimes we just aren't in the mood for sad stuff. Rom-coms make me bawl my eyes out at the end most of the time already, let alone melodramas.
If you're looking for fluffy patsy stories, may I interest you in Hotaru no Hikari? It was actually the first drama I've watched and it really craked me up. It's a very silly story, but it's really funny and uplifting. Plus there's Mukai Osamu on season 2, big plus hehe
Recently I've also watch Stand Up! it's really old but it's really hillarious. One of the funniest dramas I've ever seen! most rom-coms start off really funny but as it progresses it gets more melodramatic. But this one is pretty funny from beggining to end(though there's a darker sub-plot somewhere in the end) uh but then again it's not exactly a rom-com...
Anywayz, Yamapi, Oguri Shun, Narimiya Hiroki and Arashi's Nino are in it!Talk about eye candy hehe
I actually liked this more than I expected to. I only had it on my PTW cause of MatsuJun but I don't think this is actually bad, even though ano Saeko onna is incredibely annoying. The only thing that worries me is that this drama really left me craving for chocolate... I might put on a couple pounds while watching this one lol
Awesome. It's really engrossing, even though I don't usually like war movies, this one kept me on the edge my seat. It's just amazing and very touching. Hoping to watch more titles like this one.

Oh yeah, this is definitely going to be a hard watch :/
I'm not a big fan of the melodrama genre but I decided to give it a try this time just cause Miura is in it ;D
And I totally understand when you say you don't like watching on going drama, I'm like that too, but I think it actually works in my favor this time... if it gets too sad it would be too heavy a load to watch it all in one go, so it might be a good idea to watch an episode a week :)
(I'm not the type that likes crying in front of the pc, but anyways I've got my tissues all ready here)

It's not so common to find guys who like shoujo :)))
I like the funnier ones, like Ouran High school host club and Kaichou wa Maid-sama. Which reminds me, if you're interested in watching Wallflower, maybe you should also check out the anime! It's just hillarious, it got me rofling from the first ep to the last one. the anime is a lot funnier than the drama :) the manga is good too, but it's too long :/
I also love Nana and Fruits basket! Fruits Basket reminds me a little bit of Ranma with all the body form switching hehehe and I was really really loving Nana until [Spoiler alert!] the baka Nana got pregoo and then it became a tad too melodramatic and messy for my taste.
Have you ever heard of Natsume Yuujinchou or Kuragehime? they're my fave shoujo titles xD

oh boy, if you've only seen the anime for Ranma 1/2 you have no idea how awesome it really is! The manga is a lot funnier! I remember every single chapter would seriously crack me up. And so would Dr Slump ;) it's a really silly kind of humor though, not sure everyone appreciates it. And also it's not very similar to Dragonball either, btw. I still recommend it to everyone who likes reading manga though hehehe I like to spread the Arale love around. lol
Btw, what are your thoughts on shoujo manga/anime?

Ohayou gozaimasu, Aniki! Actually can I call you onii-san? I feel kinda yakuza-ish calling you aniki hahaha
Cool! I used to read Video Girl Ai too. I've also had my share of old manga, I really liked Ranma 1/2 and Dr Slump. And also it's pretty common in Japan for manga to be serialized for a very long time, so I'd also consider stuff like Natsume Yuujinchou (one of my faves as well) to be old, even though it's still coming out :)
You should check out MAL, it's pretty cool down there too xD

Nobuta and Wallflower both have Kame in it btw xD I liked both. Haven't seen Q10 yet, so I can't say, but I think both Nobuta and Wallflower are good watches. Wallflower is funnier in a corky way, but Nobuta is more of a classic among Jdramas.
And I noticed you like reading manga ^__^ Do you like watching anime as well?
do you also happen to have a My Anime List?
Well, I'm off to bed now. Gnight and see ya tomorrow :)

True, true. I was actually looking it up on MD and I found those 2 dramas plus a movie!
http://mydramalist.com/japanese-movie/2424/gto-the-movie
it stars the same guy who played Onizuka-sensei on one of the dramas. I wonder if it's a movie like a special from the series or if it's independent.
I actually have a lot of stuff on my PTW priority list, but I'll check the 2012 version soon enough :))

Oh boy! Hiroki would really be perfect for GTO hahaha he's that exact yankee type. Is there a drama for GTO though?? That's the first time I've heard of it DD: Or is it a movie or a live action?
I loved the anime series when I watched it a long long time ago...
I'm definitely adding that to my PTW list :3

Hiya! I just finished it! I'm a Narimiya Hiroki fan :) But I must say Naka Riisa really stole the limelight here. She was really funny in this one ^^; it was really amusing to watch her.
Loved it! It was really exciting! Even though there were some parts when I was thinking "what the hell is going on with Mizushima's hair?..." were those hair extensions?
Happy Birthday! I liked her a lot in Hard Nut! too :)

I'm on week 43 starting tomorrow! Only 10 more weeks to go til I finish the challenge! woot woot!
I know someone who's working on a double 52 week drama challenge, 2 dramas a week... now that's tough hahaha
Those of you who don't like Yamapi on this drama probably haven't and shouldn't watch Nobuta wo Produce :p too…
What I was saying is that he has the same kind of baka role on both dramas, and those who were his fans from Code Blue and/or Kurosagi and therefore didn't like him on this one, probably wouldn't like him on Nobuta too. There are some comments here of ppl who were surprised in a negative way with his acting on this drama. If they don't like baka Yamapi, they probably won't like him in Nobuta. That's all I was saying hehehe
I just finished this and I must say I absolutely LOVE it! I didn't even expected to like so much just by reading the synopsis. I'm surprised it has such an average-ish rating. It's really funny, it got me laughing from ep 1 through 11. And also, it deals with sex and puberty in a very mature but well-humored way. Plus there's a boat load of eye candy in this one :)
Granted, Chie was a little bit boring, but I really think this drama deserves more love, people!
