I am just stating what I saw... I am not rooting for this to fail, but from what I observed, not a lot of people like it...
and knowing that this website is based on the rating of said people, I am surprised its still going on with that rating... and that is that.

there are soooo many negative review about this show

keep watching... the exaggerated facial expression she does now will slowly go away... I promise

I am starting with a disclaimer that I am not korean, but I do understand the low rating, and I dont completely hate this show....
now that that is out of the way,
I think for a historical drama this show is moving at a fast pace... in an episode you literally have 3 or more events occurring at once and it doesnt let you marinate the shock of what the heck actually happened...
annd I dont know... this might be me but the romance between the main leads is very unstable... mainly due to the way Chae Kyung acts towards the things that Yi Yeok... and I am not saying that yi yeok isnt at fault here... but if she is going to be suspicious of him, then hold the character... having her alternate between suspicious ,to in love, to not trusting him but still willing support him, to I will kill him, to I dont want you to die again is seriously giving me whiplash ...
anywhooooooo! after episode 14 ending, I am actually intrigued at whats to come... and I finally think they are going to settle in for a while and just live like a happily married couple... and this might also give chae kyung the chance to actually understand why her husband is doing all these things, she needs to open up her damn eyes and see the king for who he truly is...

and lastly I would like to agree with you on the whole korean rating being different from what you actually expect... the heir is a living prove of being a famous drama in korea but having a really shitty rating on mdl... sorry if youre a lover of the heir , I really hated that show...

his acting is top notch in queen for 7 days
and doesnt he remind you of L from infinite

I noticed that tooo!!! I am hoping that its just a filler to pass by the episode... and so far she hasnt shown any interest in him... so maybe... just maybe that wont happen

I a 100% agree with you, the thing that pissed me off is that he could have clarified that he had a girlfriend, he didnt need to name her... and that could have stopped this whole shenanigan...
