I'm on episode 13 and honestly, right now I can't stand Tang's character. She's a nepo baby who thinks she's better than others and the fact that she has so many clients only bolsters her ego. That's not to say that she doesn't have skills or talent but also let's not pretend she just gets clients because she's "that good." She's obviously excelling partially because of her father's connections (and yes, she has every right to use them) but at the same time, she acts like she's more talented or smarter than others. In general, she's rude, uppity, and makes offhanded comments especially targeting Tu. For example, when she said (in front of everyone) that she didn't think Tu could pass the exam. She has the attitude that ML is rightfully hers and her privileged life only fuels it. I'm guessing that when she finds out ML and FL are together she's going to throw a tantrum because that's just what happens when you have that type of outlook on life. Hopefully, it's a humbling moment for her.
I saw earlier in the comments that people felt bad for her about her unrequited love and I'm wondering if I will feel bad for her. I feel like I might not feel too bad because of her attitude towards life. If she were privileged but kind and aware of it, I'd probably feel different. Or even if she was naive but still kind I would feel different. I think her character brings up the topic of privilege and how that affects one's outlook on life. Growing up sheltered and privileged isn't something to hold against someone, but how they address their upbringing and life experiences in relation to the world around them says something about a person.
As the storyline progresses, I always find myself looking forward more for Rao Jing and Zhao Fang Gang scene than…
I do love Rao Jing and Zhao Fanggang as a couple too! I'm only on episode 13 so I wonder how their workplace romance will work because of the no workplace romance policy, especially because our mains are obviously in a relationship too. So I'm wondering if this will lead to a policy change or something.
If someone was tryna date me and threw my phone in the water that would for sure be the end of it. Especially after I slap em' silly lmao what on earth was the screenwriter/director thinking
Yo, I got you lol https://kisskh.at/list/10dlbdx1 for steamy C dramas. https://kisskh.at/list/1XzWGXb3…
I also agree with Circle of Love and Maid's Revenge. Those are Republican Era ones. Forever Love has the same leads as Maid's Revenge but is modern. Deep Love Love Again is a very steamy modern one as well as Indulgence! Happy watching!
It's a live filter that changes the shape of the jawline to look like a V. It's used in pretty much all dramas and even on live television like CCTV in China.
when they get together is when the healthy relationship is seen---FL was definition of HOT N COLD before that
Unfortunately, I still didn't quite see that. He doesn't protect her from his ex nor does he set clear boundaries with the ex. To me, this isn't healthy.
