i think your review lacks depth and overuses generic statements that don't land. this is not a psychological mindfuck and duang is not a mistreated character. it's true that his parents see him as goofier and maybe not that serious about anything in life, which is a plotline that hasn't been tackled yet and will change once they see his son being 100% serious about qin. that's about it in your review. duang's friends adore him. it's insane that anyone would watch the show that everyone else is watching and think that they're doing any sort of bullying. they are devoted to him and worry sick about him - they go along with every crazy shenanigan of duang. jamie wanted to punch some guy that made his best friend upset. pae catfished some dude to help him get a date. they're constantly checking on him and even called duang's situationship to please get him home. because that wasn't enough, they followed duang and qin to the park to check up on duang. qin has never insinuated duang is stupid or incompetent - weird, sure. because he is. but he's always been the #1 person to encourage him. when duang was feeling guilty about his dancing qin told him not to, because he could tell duang was trying his best, and that was a 100% in his eyes. he loves duang in his own ways, sometimes not as loudly as duang does him, but just as deeply. qin is going through his own shit and he's still learning how to love someone. it might not be the best, but it's still good. as for the line about people sticking around just for the bedroom chemistry you must be widely overstimating people's free time. nobody would rate a show this high for 3 minutes of shirtless kisses and a foggy blowjob in the span of 9 episodes.
