She was in a movie, which it was so succesful that even won a Cannes. She became the first idol actress who went to Cannes and she was nominated as best actress in Cannes too.
I still think it was a big unfairness to Go Youn Jung. They literally changed the actress, created prejudice and a nasty hater club for her until a point that they leaked her private life information&photos and she started suing them, she had to be greater than ever for not being criticized but they still gave the weakest part of the show to her. Like... Are you serious? That woman was the main reason at the beginning that the show went viral, she played 4 personas perfectly, she bore all the hate and you still gave her character a completely undeserved conclusion that SHE HERSELF COMPLAINED. Btw I mind you, part 2 didn't even get the proper promotion from TvN.
Still a relief that the drama was a hit which helped her to get the international fame she deserved but it still leaves a bitter taste in my mouth. Because since the moment I watched Hunt, I really fell for her acting range which apparently I was not the only one because she officially became a Chungmuro Blue Chip after this movie. And seeing her getting all that hate for nothing literally broke my heart
