The problem was with the screenwriter from the very beginning. The character of Anna was mentally strong enough to use Kim Jeha for her revenge and it was planned to be great character development. At least it was when the series started filming. When the director was left alone by the screenwriter, Anna was turned into a doormat.

The biggest plot twist in this drama is that Kim Young Ok's character didn't die at the end. I was so ready for this.

And it's really frustrating that the real killer wasn't arrested despite all the evidence because of the statute of limitations, but Yoon Sung-Yeo was imprisoned innocently for 20 years. This case is just like Zodiac. But Zodiac was found after he died in 2022.

Three years ago I was working on a large-scale project on psychopaths. Memories of Murder and Zodiac were the first movies recommended to me. Even though I hadn't watched MoM at the time, it was always on my watch list, so I finally decided to give it a try.
