Bong Joon Ho said he knew the criminal would come to watch the movie and smile at how he has never been caught. So, in the ending scene, the detective's eyes were looking at the criminal who was looking like just an ordinary person among us.

One of the best breaking 4th wall moments in cinematography if not the best.

The problem was with the screenwriter from the very beginning. The character of Anna was mentally strong enough to use Kim Jeha for her revenge and it was planned to be great character development. At least it was when the series started filming. When the director was left alone by the screenwriter, Anna was turned into a doormat.

The biggest plot twist in this drama is that Kim Young Ok's character didn't die at the end. I was so ready for this.

And it's really frustrating that the real killer wasn't arrested despite all the evidence because of the statute of limitations, but Yoon Sung-Yeo was imprisoned innocently for 20 years. This case is just like Zodiac. But Zodiac was found after he died in 2022.

Life is really unfair.

Three years ago I was working on a large-scale project on psychopaths. Memories of Murder and Zodiac were the first movies recommended to me. Even though I hadn't watched MoM at the time, it was always on my watch list, so I finally decided to give it a try.

And gosh... WHAT A FRUSTRATION!! Maybe it's because I know how the case ended in 2019, I really had a nervous breakdown throughout the movie. But It was so good. Especially the ending scene. It gave me chills...

There was nothing wrong with Yoona's acting or the script for her parts (except for her ending?) She and Kim Joo Hun carried the last episodes.

At the end of ep 3, it was all up to her. If she chose to trust him, he would really go with her. If she didn't choose, he would do as Jaesan wanted.

I never trusted him to begin with so it wouldn't hurt to see him betray her. But it just doesn't sit right with me.

Jungho is more sus than him rn. THIS GUY IS A LITERAL GREEN FLAG IN THIS SHOW.
