Title The Glory Part 2
This show was an absolute masterpiece for me. What I was blown away by most is the way how the script crafted the world in which 'The Glory' takes place. It is a scary world in which none of the living characters are truly good, the law doesn't protect anyone and the victims become the perpetrators and the perpetrators become the victims. Being righteous only makes you suffer. The only thing that matters is money and power, and later in the show we are showed that even family and friendship aren't anything compared to having power and keeping one's status. Does friendship even exist if people stick together only because they have a common goal or know too much about each other? Also, most of the story seems to be about bullying in school, but later on we see that the same power dynamic clearly continues well into adulthood in this world, not excluding bullying and harassment between school employees and bosses and employers in the workplace. It is a story about revenge, but it's also a very powerful social commentary. Re-watching this show makes me realize all the amazingly thought through details that make the little wrinkles in the script suddenly make sense. Wow, just wow. However; beware of the violence in the show. I personally could not watch the scenes without fast forwarding them.
