is this good so far i'm boredi guess i am because of the absolutely bonkers misogyny and sexism in these fucking…
Ok more are pissed that ML are not shown like the way FL is. You yourself know all those who are advocating for FL actions will be bashing MLs if they did the same. I think it is totally reasonable for some to be annoyed with the recent trends of ML being shown as this pure angel who cannot even look in the direction of another female and somehow gets sick from just the touch of another female (Love to Hate You). While I don't agree with attacking anyone for their views but most of the comments who even mention about this topic are just labeled as Misogynist.
With the LMT hate bandwagon going on for the past few days here, I would like to share my own two cents on her…
I think you’re confusing a lot of opinions here. Most are actually angry at the male lead, not the female lead. It's the ML who keeps doing the chasing, and honestly, it’s getting really frustrating. We saw a similar dynamic in The Princess Royal, and after seeing that pattern so many times, I just want something different.
Don't get me wrong I don't mind the ML being the one who pursues the relationship. But at some point, it becomes exhausting to watch constant jealousy scenes and repetitive behavior. It's disappointing to see a character who is supposed to be powerful and well-known reduced to this attention-seeking, almost puppet-like figure, desperate for validation. It feels like they’ve stripped away his dignity just for the sake of dragging out the plot.
Honestly, I find it hard to enjoy the FL’s character, too. The way she plays into this dynamic doesn’t make her likable or relatable. Instead of growing into a more balanced relationship, it just feels like we’re stuck in this endless loop of jealousy and childish antics. And really, how many times can we watch the same thing happen before it gets old?
And why do we have to see the ML suffer and cry over the FL and be jealous? Why can't we have balanced out characters?
You will not get a reply I have asked similar questions in TPR but most of these comments failed to understand their double standard. In their eyes no matter how sincere ML is they need to see him grovel, alway be jealous and beg FL to give him a chance.
I think your comment overlooks a couple of key points. Sure, the ML lying about his identity isn't great but it's…
You are right. I never said what the ML did was correct; I was just making a counterpoint to the OP. Lying about one's identity definitely undermines trust and is a serious issue. It's understandable that such a revelation would make the FL question everything about the relationship.
However, my concern is with the FL's response if she leaves without confronting the issue or seeking clarification. This reaction suggests a lack of willingness to communicate and work through problems, which is also essential in a relationship. Both parties made mistakes: the ML for lying and the FL for potentially acting impulsively without understanding the reasons behind the deception.
What I'd love to see in this drama, and what often feels missing, is both characters being held accountable and working together to rebuild trust, if that's even possible. Too often, we see MLs bending over backward while FLs are not held to the same standard. A balanced approach, where both characters face challenges and grow, would be a refreshing change and make for a more compelling story.
I'm holding off on making any final judgments until I actually see the drama, but I just wanted to share my opinion based on the synopsis and the many comments suggesting that what the FL did was correct.
Here’s another hater who didn’t even really watch this drama haha this hater comes out around the same time…
lol, you just reminded me of someone in The Princess Royal comment section. She is still there defending even after the show was finished a while back.
Here for the realistic logical FL ( refreshing !) who actually breaks up with BF after he lied about his identity…
I think your comment overlooks a couple of key points. Sure, the ML lying about his identity isn't great but it's pretty extreme to justify the FL leaving him and taking money without even trying to understand his reasons. That kind of reaction isn't exactly commendable either. It feels like you're putting all the blame on the ML while giving the FL a free pass, which seems unfair.
Also, it's frustrating how often recent dramas portray MLs as "simps" who have to bend over backward to prove themselves, while FLs rarely face the same scrutiny or competition, like dealing with ex-girlfriends or second female leads. It would be refreshing to see both characters held to the same standards and working equally hard to rebuild trust instead of just one-sided groveling. Let's hope the drama gives us a more balanced and realistic portrayal.
1. He’s gonna find out in the next two eps but in a very rushed way which will cause the drama to have a rather…
1 - As seen in most recent K-dramas, male leads do not have any self-respect and will just forgive without being allowed to feel anger or given time to accept the deceit.
I know lying is bad, but if MJ doesn't want to let others know about her secret she should've at least come up…
Right? Isn’t it even worse to find your loved one injured and then learn they've been lying to you about it? Sometimes I really wonder what kind of relationships these writers are trying to portray. It's still a strong 8 for me, though. Hopefully, the last two episodes won't be a letdown.
Well then reverse the roles hiding something so important from your partner if it was ML the comment and audience…
She is still deceiving him, and while we know this is a drama where the ML will likely forgive easily, imagine your partner hiding something so significant in real life. It would still hurt, especially knowing that so many others were aware before you. Deception, regardless of intention, can damage trust.
Why do you make such a big deal, of her taking the money? She clearly did it, because she didn't want to deal…
Look at it from a different perspective. According to the synopsis, she gave up on the male lead without confronting him about hiding his background. Now it's the male lead who has to prove she is worth fighting for, lol. 😂 And I know for a fact that the male lead will probably be the biggest simp, possibly even surpassing "Wedding Impossible."
People who are b*tching about fl must think that the real world is some kind of a fairytale😂In their eyes FL…
Glad we can agree on that and now tell me in what real world a very wealthy man will follow an average woman like a simp. I think your last paragraph is completely wrong all the recent dramas have been the other way around where its the male lead that only have one goal and is to obsess with the FL.
can someone sum up why some people don't like this drama? idk if i should watch it or not..
It's funny how you all keep focusing on a couple of scenes where PWX is actually shown as a man, while in most of the show, he is just a jealous simp. And to the OP, just note that Twinty is a die-hard fan. She has been defending this show like her life depends on it and has banned me because she couldn't counter any of the points I raised. Read the reviews instead of listening to any comments here. I suggest the Dramaslot review it's done perfectly and covers the whole show, even the things many might miss.
