Just one point gonna ask you to elaborate. Where is he not respecting FL choices she failed to set clear boundary, constant longing look with romantic OST playing, unable to raise her voice against him yeah I blame the way FL character is written not the actors playing any role not sure why would anyone show hate to the actors. Again following on its the writing and directing thats really lacking lets not forget how she treated ML when she suspected that ML killed her but why is the same attitude not directed towards SRQ? Many novel readers keep pointing that FL loved ML in past life as well lol what? I think the main issue with this drama is not the past but the fact we are at ep 24 and FL is still unable to decide or set boundary with SML and ffs stop with those looks. Some might enjoy jelousy scenes but we are more then half way through.

Dont say that or you will get a full host of comments trying to justify that it was 17 years they spent together or the FL loved him for 17 years and thats why its hard to forget or be harsh to SML but at the same time many contradict saying FL lead only loved ML in both lives and yet more then half the drama and idm taking more time but at least draw proper boundary between her and SML.

All i am seeing is that if roles were reversed and it was PWX in LR position this show will be rated really low and none will be justifying PWX actions.

Yes and one point that all fans and writers have just glossed over is that LR sent assassins to kill PWX like its all forgotten. SRQ who was actually behind her killing is being given a second chance when in fist 2 episode where she suspected the PWX was being her killing she treated him like a dog but its compleltey different when it comes to SRQ another point somneone keeps mentioneing that LR only loved PWX in both lifes like how???

Would you still defend this if the roles were reversed in this drama? The whole comment section would be on fire, and the ratings would probably drop below 7 if at this stage the ML couldn't choose between the FL and the SFL and kept longing for the SFL. Recent popular dramas tend to follow the same pattern, not just in C-dramas but also in K-dramas where FLs tend to move on or have relationships while MLs are depicted as pure and waiting for the FL for years.

I don’t hate the FL in this drama I can understand her upbringing and circumstances. Instead, I blame the writers. I just wish there was equal effort in the chasing or love for one another

I completely agree. Unfortunately, many people still try to justify the FL's actions or understand and support her. It’s baffling considering that the ML stayed single for 17 years while she openly flaunted her relationship with another man. She killed her husband without remorse, hated and treated him like a dog when she thought he had killed her yet she keeps giving longing looks to the actual killer.

We’re 22 episodes in, and she still can't even raise her voice against him. Even after all the misunderstandings have been cleared up, she continues to treat the ML poorly almost like a cuckold in front of SRQ. Take, for instance, the recent carriage scene while the ML is there, she stares at the SML and becomes soft in front of him. There’s so much more wrong but I just wish the ML would stand up for himself and make the FL chase him for a change. It would have been better to make this a reverse harem if they wanted such a weak ML.

Yep you are right leave everything to the ML to constantly chase a strong women. He is a defination of a simp. FL constantly giving sml longing eyes and compleltey let go of the fact he killed her. ML is a Simp and you know why because writers instead of both being equal or showing equal longing for one another decided it will be good for ML to carry the whole relationship and show some hints about FL also loves ML but also like SML.

Thats fine I personally blame the writers they should have made ML have some ambition to gain power or something on the side but this constant chasing and just staying at home while not getting the same response from the other party just puts ML in this weird dynamic where some might enjoy that while others dont.

Thats the problem is they should have made ML have a lover the reason some people are angry is because even after finding out the truth FL is still strugling to let go off SML, ML has become a housewife and let go of all power and lack of ambition other then being a simp.
Its okay for both leads to be simp for one another but if one is exagrated it does not feel nice.

Also try swithing the roles will you still defend ML and would this show still be this popular? Answer is no.

yes if both are but it very clear that even after 20 episodes FL is hung up on SML and call it whatever you want ML was single for 17 years while she was sleeping with another man. Now switch the roles all these people in favour of fl will do the same for ml?

I dont think I have come across a bigger simp then ML in any drama wow this show was purely made for Female audience and not for anyone else. You will never find a man like ML in real life.

Yes sfl not just cheated but hurt her husband really bad just to be forgiven like nothing happened. SML is one of the biggest simp I have seen in any kdrama
