It’s a fantasy drama so it’s not supposed to follow any strict rules. I honestly could tell from before that this drama is simply not your cup of tea. Which is fine because I also have many dramas and genres that I can’t get into as well. All fantasy dramas have some elements that are not made sense by logic (thus, it’s a fantasy) , so we have to follow the writer’s explanation and created world in order to understand the story. (And put aside any prior expectations of what the three realms are like from other dramas) Hope you find something else you enjoy. Good bye!

I don’t want to spoil what happens to him at the end, but you’re right that he is in the gray area. Like he has no choice but to protect his sister. He does try to redeem himself later though.

The revengeful heart was too strong in GoW and that’s why she had to go through tribulation to cleanse and overcome that evil aura. Her life as a mortal Xuan Ji is just 20 years and is a small time period compared to the many years prior, but we can see these 20 years are so impactful also. They will overcome. It will all be explained over the course of the journey.

He has a special identity that will be revealed in one of the last few episodes. It’s the identity that I’m most interested in! Are you sure you want to be spoiled now? :)

Yea! Once I started this I couldn’t stop. No matter the misundertandings, torture, the story keeps moving in such a fast pace and gives us sweet scenes. Love alll the side characters too! Teng She, merman, purple fox were all so great! And of course, our Si Feng and Xuan Ji are the best. Si Feng #1!

That video was put together so well and had all my favorite scenes!! I just teared up again seeing just how much the leads went through. For sure the first video has many spoilers. It’s a great recap for those who have already completed the drama. Brings all the feels!!

Yup this is a heart tugging love story that brings out all the emotions! It’s definitely not a light and fluffy drama :) but this one leaves a lasting impression in the heart. Si Feng’s love is so beautiful and as deep as the ocean and beyond.

I know right? My heart too.... But it was so sweet like honey. The writers know how to make our hearts go high and dip low. Rollercoaster! But the cave scene was awesome. I still replay it often! Especially Si Feng’s flirty and playful side is so attractive!

Sometimes expecting too much also can dampen the experience, so I think just go into either drama without too much expectation. They’re both really good romance stories and are unique in their own way. :)
