The pink A Li costume is by far my favourite.. it might change later coz we got like another 30 eps of divine costumes.
Anyway about the plot so far, everytime A Li thinks of Fang zhou it really sadden me. The previous friendship we failed to protect. Also fang zhou know A Li good nature and accept him as his disciple and love him. Something that A Li never get seeing how traumatic he is when they found him. He learns how to love from fang zhou but it's not long. He's yearning for more but the man is no more alive.

Only tang lici planned this himself. If u think about it it's a crazy plan. He tried to play with the death. More like obsession to keep FZ alive. If he tell liu yan beforehand I dont think liu yan will agree..

Tang lici did this so he got enough power to save fang zhou. When fang zhou died tang lici took FZ heart and put it in his stomach to preserve it. He also put FZ body inside an ice coffin which he already prepared beforehand to preserve the body too.. he planned to put back the heart into the body later so FZ will be alive back from the dead.
The story is like an onion where you peeling all the layers one by one. It can be confusing now but everything will be unraveled later I'm sure. This is one hell of a journey that I'm willing to sit down and enjoy

Zhoudi tower is a sect where people practice instruments as their weapon.. tang lici practices flute while liu yan plays pipa. Everyone has their own unique instruments
people i have a question why liu yan wants to kill TLC?
TLC, liu yan, fang zhou, fu zimei are sworn brothers. Something happened and Liu yan thought TLC killed fang zhou. In some way TLC felt guilty for the death of fan zhou and don't even stand for himself cause he played part of it. So liu yan hates him so much while fu zimei got lost. He will appear later though. I don't want to give much spoiler because the drama is quite diff from novel now. Just the base story is the same.
Anyway about ep 1-3 so far the eps are done very well! I'm in awe with the graphics they are so pretty. And the way they introduce all the characters is smart because there are so many characters so they focus on everyone each time the character appear for the first time to make us remember.. the plot is also easy to follow and understandable. Love it so far
I swear mangotv I cursed you that you will never win bidding S++ drama after this! With only mango tv available to watch WOF in my country so I paid for svip tp even watch extra ep per day.. they don't provide eng subtitle.. only chinese! So I have to watch on illegal site but too many advertisement. I'm so mad. Even secondary platform like iqiyi can provide eng sub.. shame on you mangotv

I think cdrama has a huge fandom. While kdrama may have bigger audience they are just watching not engaging. If u look at whispers of fate page the comments has gone to 7k even before release..
I myself has recently shift to cdrama after decades on kdrama because they are getting boring while cdrama covers all the gendre esp historical with great CGI so it feels fresh
