This is the first time I saw her and I love her already. She is not mad pretty but pretty enough to be FL. Her acting is so good that in some scenes I was in awe. I recently dropped sword and fairy because although I like the actress I cannot stand the acting.
I think they want a buff actor and the fighting scenes look physically demanding. I do agree they look more like brothers. Well, I tried to think that ancient people got married early some at 16 years old.
-the cgi looks unfinised and it kinda hurts my eyes with the tone -the plot is very good so far that I can ignore the cgi - I didnt expect to see peter ho but he is a guest role and ML's father. It's a nice surprised.
To those who doubtful to start the drama give it a chance at least till ep 3 because that's where the real plot starts. And bear with the cgi in the beginning.
I love ren jia lun and I have no problem with his kissing scenes. He has great chemistry with bailu and tan songyun in previous dramas despite the so-called-fake-kiss-scenes. Just proved that he is a great actor. I'll continue watching then.

It's a very light bromance and they save it to the last (between LB and QQZ). I really like an investigation drama with no love line and this is for me. If u guys enjoy this try to watch under the skin.
I admit there are some parts that I fast forward because it's too slow and too much talking. Towards the end I think the flashbacks of LB and QQZ is too long and unneccasary.
What I really love about this drama is they tied everything at the end. Everything is for some reasons and it make sense.

Oh lastly, this is my first time watching miles wei and for the life of me, I tried to remember who he reminds me of. After few eps it clicked to me. He resembles ha seokjin. His face and his acting.
I'm so glad they didnt drag the chen shi not chen shi part. And thank god it's not chen shi coz I will hate the show (it doesnt make sense that it's CS anyway). We are officially on the emotional ride for the rest of the eps. Please dont make it a tragedy!
Acting wise everyone is good there's no acting holes and I love it so much. Just sometimes ding yuxi acting seems calculated I wonder if the anime behaves like that too or they want to make it comical. I'm ok with it though.

I really like chen shi character, sorry li bing but I know u like him too. He's a character that stitch everyone together. I'm curious what is the real translation for chen shi's addressing li bing? He said 'bie?' and it translate as Mr Li. I dont know why it sound so much friendlier in Chinese.

I can be ugly and thought other people ugly too. There's no correlation to it. U must be stupid to think only gorgeous people can find someone unattractive. If u read chinese media ren min got a lot of hate for her looks in the longest promise not just me. But after getting to know her I found it just the styling in the drama and I blamed the stylist for getting her in that mess. If u find her attractive then it is what it is. Stop making youself sounds like a fool
I first saw ren min in the longest promise and I find her very unattractive (sorry!). Then I saw her in few clips of modern drama and she's so pretty. Here, she's really attractive even in that manly attires. I wonder what happened to the longest promise. How they made her looking ugly when she is the female lead. And she's gorgeous too. Oh and I watched DYX's movie (i forgot the name) and turned out ren min is the female lead there. I don't even notice
-eventhough they stuck in the cave for all time the story doesnt feel rush or too lag. It's a perfect amount to keep me interested.
