I can understand the frustration with tteotm. The misunderstanding is never ending. I never watch ashes of love so i cannot judge that. Hopefully tomorrow's ep will be less angsty

Girl i was sobbing when xiang liu died, same with tan taijin. These two made me cry the most in cdrama land. I think we are the type that feel pity with tragic characters. Like I'm okay with sad love scene but if it's about their pitiful lives I'm just shattered. Same with Ji Ling

How does he's always good with tragic arcs. I watch MJTY and FOF too but VOS is by far hurts most

The Jiling Song, Innocent as Fox is very sad especially after today's ep. The lyrics mention moon (lu wuyi) so many times.

Also I'm very surprised that tian jiarui can sing and also singing opera. I think I'm his fan now

I cried a river this ep 😭😭 imagine having to pose as someone else and carry the burden for hundred years. When WSG said he's sorry that he's late and JL said it's been far too long. 😭😭 and the revelation to LWY is beautifully written. Imagine seeing jiling the puppet memories of LWY and just can sit and dream about it. JL really suffers. This reminds me of tan taijin 😭😭 and he is a blind fox. Just a wild blind fox. Damn

Also LWY this naive girl. I love her so much. Probably the nicest female character I've watched for a while. Her love to JL is so big she's being a cutie laying on the big statue missing JL eventhough they just separate not even a day. How do you expect JL to kill her later.

And she rock it. I don't know why people downgraded character that their artist choose to potray. There must be something about lu wuyi that ju jingyi like or want to try but seeing her fans keep complaining about the character growth is like saying i like you but why do you choose this character. And we still have 11 eps. I wish we all can watch in peace

We still has 11 eps to see her 'growth'. I 'm not a fan of anyone in this drama I just watch for the plot and arts and from what I can see the lu wuyi character is created like that. So many times even nuwa implied that she is too young.

For me she's quite a timid character that does not dare to make decision. In ep 18 she finally decided to lie to nuwa and did not tell her about wu wangyan. That's already a big decision moment. And she tell wu wangyan that she kept her secret. She was asking for validation because she's still afraid of her decision. I know her character will be force to make big decision towards the end.

Idk why ju jingyi decided to take this role if she know her fans not gonna like it. But i think this character suits her and her acting is good. The problem is just the lu wuyi character is played by someone popular.

Well that's a good theory. I'm really excited to see the storyline of jiuying

Lu wuyi is not a simple character. Her character revolve around jiling and wu wangyan so it can be seen that she has no real purpose or character.

But we have talk about jiuying greatest weakness. LOVE. Lu wuyi is the character that jiling and wu wangyan love the most so she is jiuying greatest weapon against them. She is the character who binds people so I think that's a very big part. She is the character who loves. She don't have real personal goal simply because she just want to be seen. She is a hui (moon that is hidden) so she always yearn for people's love. And that turns out to be the greatest weapon. Maybe in future ep we will see what she become.

Anywayw this is my first time watching ju jingyi and I love her a lot. Her character has charm

-Jiling is a red fox.
-Yuan wu huo (yan an) and yuan xizai (tian jiarui) are brothers
-In an explosion that happened in the illusion, yuan xizai probably almost died and jiling the fox take the face of yuan xizai and merge with him. This is just theory it haven't show yet. Maybe in next eps.
-yuan wuhuo and jiling both in shilin sect probably something to do with chiwen.
-jiling became fake chiwen and YWH became shilin sect commander
-since jiling ate the dragon scales he is immortal while yuan wuhuo is human so he grows old.
-YWH is old and went to a cave to die there but the six eyes demon twins devours him. They spend decades devouring his memories in the cocoon.
-after finished, one of the six eye demon twin lost his memories while another twin still has memories as six eyes demon.

Watching this drama from ep 1 is like watching something blurry and gradually become clear.

Also I love LOVE that eventhough the arc in illusion is only for few eps they manage to make us feel that the wuwu couple is there for 50 years. I was afraid after they come out of illusion they will become stranger but of course living together for 50 years with the only one who feels real will be hard to forget. After wuwu couple come out of illusion somehow their mannerism is like couple who has live together for 50 years so kudos to the actors and the directing power.

When he use baizhe power in earlier ep he got that white line on his forehead. Then when he use xiaowei power he got fox ears and the eyes marks. In new ep he got wu zhiqi's power so wu zhiqi green tattoo appeared.

On ep 15 it took me awhile to realised while longshen has fox ears then I remembered he borrowed xiaowei power

I think it's jiling too coz I know his voice and his act 🤣 when he was fed with dragon scales I can see it's tian jia rui. But i don't know the relationship between jiling and yuan xizai
