The tensions, the acting, the scenery, I don't even know what to say. Whoever did the color grading, and I know who you are, you did a splendid job. Still getting goosebumps after the episode is over.
Always a pleasure to discuss series, that's why I'm on these pages. I haven't read the book though so our expectation might differ. I can see that Krit cares about him and wants to keep him safe, but doing almost nothing at the same time is a bit cowardice for me.

Believe me, it's not the first Thai series I watch. It is not just what his father's power can do to Wayu's low class family, we've seen the trope a million times, it's also defying/disobeying the patriarch of the family. His family in My stand-in wasn't much different if I remember correctly.
Exactly the reason why his mother is literally the obedient wife in the series. Yes, eventually, she might get a grip and help him face his father but that's cultural or call it societal if you wish.
In the west, we're easily triggered to turn back on family and make our own decisions, whereas Krit is torn? between family and Wayu. And that's how I see it, because that's the charm of watching series, it's up to the viewers interpretation.
And don't take my comments very seriously, I like to joke around a lot. At the end of the day, it's fiction not that serious.
As much as I love him, he kinda is for not standing up to his dad. I know it's a cultural thing but it calls for a very big redemption arc, considering the fact he broke Wayu's heart.
Poom is one of the sexiest men I've ever seen in my life, almost unreal and I can't stop staring! That coward Krit better have a whole Arc de Triomphe prepared for his redemption or I'm not giving Wayu back!
It's sooo entertaining that the episodes feel like their 5 mins. short. Just as it started, it ended and I was like: Whaaaaaat? Give me more! And I love Akki's football jerseys collection. Dude knows his teams! Can't wait for the revenge! 😁

It's the most amazing series you'll watch this season.
It's a pretty successful series. It's been number 1 on VIu Thailand for weeks, it's in the top 5 on iqiyi in Korea, Japan, etc.
Plotwise, it's something we've never seen from GMM. It's layered, the writing is good and I haven't seen any plotholes so far. They used drones for some of the scenes, CGI is professionally done and the whole cast are good actors. Hope that helps.
