I know Kongdech was schooled the same way as Tan but gaslighting him won't give him a friend of the year award. It's one thing to be disappointed that Tan hid his relationship with Barth, completely different story to use his parents again him. He doesn't even realize how in love with him he is.

And I was just about to say that my boy Barth didn't push Tan for avoiding him to let him deal with his doubts without pressure and BAM, he just went all out and made things even worse. One doubts God and believes in love, the other one believes in God and doubts love. A match made in heaven indeed.
