No lie, just wish he was seen in more drama than some of the mediocre actors we get back to back in a year.
No wonder, they probably give him in a contract that took his 20,30 until he reach 40 and let him go, because you know how Cdrama is the moment theses actors are in the 40s they get stuck to second ML,uncle,father,master characters. His good years will be gone, because I don't think if his contract was over all these years he will be stuck not having drama up to 4 made a year, when he an elegant excellent actor.
It sad when I see good actor and actresses with his skills sideline in Cdrama because they don't have the rich,political background, gold masters sponsor or traffic star like many we see doing drama back to back but fans refuse to accept that some of these actors are terrible and get more opportunity based on how big of a traffic star, pretty, handsome, family and not on talent.
I Personally got kinda of tired seeing the same face in every drama, stiffness in acting like a stick that I stopped watching big budget Cdrama production like that once in a blue moon you made catch me trying to watch one, like where all the talent we see in mini-drama or some of the tops actor with good acting skills in short dramas.

Wish they could, but he been doing mini-drama for a while if they wanted to give him big budget it could've happened by now. It even seems like he have not been doing lot of drama, he had only had drama for this year so far and 2024 was his last main lead role,2025 he did no main leads role.
Luo Yun Xi the man who embodied elegance in his acting is such a joy to watch everything about his acting is tasteful, the way he moves gracefully, his smiles, the way he talk, his head movements has grace and poise in how he carries himself. The only downside is he doesn't grace our screens with back to back drama like others actors, it takes a long time before you see him in a new drama, I wonder what is the reason for that?

I'm already confused about why he has not been given the opportunity as an ML in a bigger role. He always acts in good mini-drama and it seems directors go to him a lot to act in these. So why not offer him full-length drama then? It's not like Richard can't act we all know he has the ability. In my opinion, he is better than some of these big actors/ traffic stars.
Mini-drama 🤴 is back with a new one, Richard never disappoints he always picks good roles can't wait to see it. He is one of the best kissers in the Cdrama period regardless of full-length or mini. I'm praying that he gets a bigger role one of these days. I can see he the go-to guy for directors when it's comes to mini-dramas because they know he has what it takes, so why is he not given the opportunity for bigger roles?
Been waiting for something new from this actor, it's finally here. I have seen him in two other dramas he has excellent acting skills and not just a handsome face with a good voice and if given more resources as time goes by he going to get better and better.
I look at the actors' or actresses' skills before their appearance because a lot of these big major actors are just handsome or Pretty decorations to look at in a drama. A lot of actors are put into these dramas because they are beautiful or popular and can't act. And some of us, viewers are not only trying to look at the actor's faces alone but also watch good drama with good acting skills for our leads.
Not trying to say that good-looking actors are a bad thing, to me enjoying a good drama and looking at beautiful people is a bonus 😀 especially when they can act. I'm tired of looking at Pretty accessories with bad acting who get drama back to back.
I think most people forget or just don't know that this is an adaptation of a novel right? So as a continuation of the novel things will change first season will be a bit different from season 2. So you not enjoying season two it not because the director or actors not doing a good job. The director did well with the adoption 👏 and removed or changed thing that censorship was not going to allow to pass.
I'm even surprised that they doing so well with adapting the novel because most Cdrama director and scriptwriters are bad when it comes to this and will mess up a beautiful novel. I love to read Chinese novel so most of the novel that have been adapted I read them if they are in English translation before or while the drama is on. Joy of life is a 700 plus novel with a ML who is a time traveler from morden time.
A novel that you will hate or like, A ML that you will hate or like in my opinion, Zhang Ruoyun really is what Fan Xian should be like.
