In an accident. If you don't mind the spoiler. The husband gets married to the Best friend and takes insurance on her name. Then he damages the brakes of her car so that she can die. But due to some complications his mother gets admitted to hospital and he drives that car unknowingly and dies

Actually it is a webtoon thing where the events that has happened in the past can't be cancelled. It has to happen to someone so that's why PMY is changing the recipients of the incidents like marrying her Best friend with her husband
