New pre-release for Episode 7 and it’s hilarious. Link is to an artificial dub in English; my rough translation…
You're welcome. By the way, after seeing this preview and the tension between them, I'm imagining them telling all the employees to go through different elevators and have a hot makeup kiss in one of them. It would be very sexy and satisfying to see.
I hope that Kim Jiwon takes on action roles in her next drama. I really love it when actresses perform intense action scenes. Additionally, I would like to see her in a Noona romance, engaging in romantic relationships with younger actors like Lee Do Hyun, Lee Jae Wook, or Lee Jun Young.
It is red flag if you are happy about your wife illness and praying for her death . People can have flaw but out…
I think you are generally more biased towards FL just because she is a female and is ill. If the roles were reversed, you would have again blamed the ML. FL was understanding? Where did you see that? She was just as much a red flag as Hyunwoo. She didn't even communicate when they were grieving for their baby. She was hella annoying when she was trying to remove the baby items without even consulting him. Yes, mothers are most affected when losing a baby, but that doesn't mean fathers don't get affected. Next point: you mentioned that he didn't even see his wife suffering, but did she see that he was also suffering? And when did she ever show him that she was suffering? He isn't a magician who can know your internal thoughts and struggles without you showing an ounce of it. She was so nonchalant about the baby issue when her parents were talking about them having a baby, like she didn't even care. She was like, "we would have a baby and then you should go abroad for studies while I will be busy with my work and the baby will be taken care of by the maids." You said Hyun Woo was a coward, and I believe in a sense he is, but just being a coward doesn't mean he is a red flag and the kind of guy that your parents warn you about. The Queen's group is like Samsung of SK and you don't know enough about their internal family struggles and what they can do to him if he even mentions divorce. Heck, even his family is not in support of him getting a divorce, which is the saddest part of the drama. Whenever in the drama you see Hyun Woo telling about his struggles in his life, it always turns into a comedic part of drama with proper comedic sounds, while Hae In's struggles are shown with much more sincerity with proper sad music and cinematography. Even people in the drama don't care about his problems. And about your next point about him praying for her death. Suppose a woman lives with her rich in-laws where she gets bullied by them even after 3 years of marriage while her husband just lets it be or even starts humiliating her in front of others such that she feels like her husband doesn't care for her. Or suppose her husband abused her for 3 years, will she maintain her moral compass when she gets to learn that he is dying in 4-5 months and she will be free from all of this. This was the case here but the genders were swapped. I don't know about you, but many times in arguments, my partner and I have told each other that the other person should be dead and if you had died all our problems would have been solved. But did that mean I was hoping for her to be dead or she was hoping for me to end up dead? No, that wasn't the case. Even between friends, sometimes during heated arguments, you say something that you didn't mean to. That doesn't make either of us a bad person. You said that she didn't treat him like trash, if not respecting him in front of others, not protecting him from her parents when she clearly told him she would, not taking his opinions into consideration regarding important factors about their relationship such as their baby, not communicating about struggles and her issues with him, not even knowing all the family members of Hyun Woo like his nephews even after 5 years of a relationship and lastly always trying to maintain her ice queen persona in front of him where she shows that she doesn't give a damn about him doesn't come under her treating him like trash that I don't know what your definition of her treating him like trash is which by the way you are purely biased as you are taking every small mistake done by Hyun Woo as a red flag behavior. And about your last question that he was jealous and doing things caring and protecting her just because another person was coming into their relationship is totally wrong. Do you save somebody from a lethal animal like a bear even risking your life just because you feel a sense of possession and not feelings of care towards them? No, you don't. You are saying that you can hate someone but still pray for their well-being is the feature of a human being in an ideal world not in reality. In the real world, if you hate someone even if you had affection for them in the past, you don't wish them that they should have a good life and well-being. The thing is you are saying Hyunwoo is a red flag just on the basis that he is wishing for his wife's death which isn't even true as we have been shown multiple instances of him caring for her, protecting her even in front of his in-laws whom he very much fears. First, take a perspective into his life and what he has suffered then say that he is a red flag while saying Hae in is the epitome of an ideal wife which we are clearly shown she isn't.
The most boring drama ever, except for the leads' exceptional chemistry, everything was boring. It was misunderstandings piled upon misunderstandings without any resolution. The payoff for the romance wasn't satisfying. Even the confessions were ordinary in the drama. They should have cut the office drama and used that time to show us more of them dating. The FL is so insufferable in the second half that all the fun goes away from the drama. I mean in the last episodes she doesn't even know how to separate her professional and personal life. I know many people will come after me for saying this but I think it would have been better if they would have broken up in the end because she wasn't a good partner to have.
If IU has indeed appear in this drama, then it would have been so awesome, they were friends, they worked with…
IU is a great actor but the way Kim Jiwon is playing Hong Hae In is on another level. She makes us sympathise with her, cry for her when cries and makes us root for her getting a happy ending.
Wow, so they both have an 11-year age difference, but they don't look even a year apart in the stills. I don't know what South Korean actresses eat, but they get more beautiful as they age.
Most chaebol family in kdrama always like investigate someone’s background first before trusting them but the…
I think the matter of fact is that the GF of Grandfather was with them for 20 years and nothing happened that would cause them to suspect her. So they kind of begin to trust her and her lackies completely.
Hey, I just wanted to ask why you think HyunWoo should beg for forgiveness. Asking for a divorce is not wrong.…
It wasn't true that he didn't try to discuss the divorce with Hae In; he was. But at that moment, he got bombarded with the news of Hae In's illness. So he didn't have a chance again to discuss the divorce. And after finding out about the divorce, they should have discussed why he wanted a divorce, not whether it was true or not. Even in the preview for the next episode, we see her being cold to him, just like she was throughout their whole relationship after they lost their baby. Asking for forgiveness should be done by both sides. It shouldn't be expected that only HyunWoo has to ask for forgiveness. I know now you didn't mean anything with the "beg for forgiveness" statement, but I just feel that everywhere, whether it be Twitter or MDL, they are only judging the ML and making him ask for forgiveness while FL is getting a free pass just because she has an illness.
Yes I enjoyed him in Into The Ring and Not Others, but he is getting typecasted doing only villain roles. He has…
Yes that may be the case. But I just don't want to see him in another negative role like this. He should play some grey characters or maybe some good character as he has the charm for it. I think if see him in another big budget dramas, i will feel like he is the villain or the accomplice of the villain
