I think you are generally more biased towards FL just because she is a female and is ill. If the roles were reversed, you would have again blamed the ML. FL was understanding? Where did you see that? Suppose a woman lives with her rich in-laws where she gets bullied by them even after 3 years of marriage while her husband just lets it be or even starts humiliating her in front of others such that she feels like her husband doesn't care for her. Or suppose her husband abused her for 3 years, will she maintain her moral compass when she gets to learn that he is dying in 4-5 months and she will be free from all of this. This was the case here but the genders were swapped. But did that mean I was hoping for her to be dead or she was hoping for me to end up dead? No, that wasn't the case. You are saying that you can hate someone but still pray for their well-being is the feature of a human being in an ideal world not in reality. In the real world, if you hate someone even if you had affection for them in the past, you don't wish them that they should have a good life and well-being. The thing is you are saying Hyunwoo is a red flag just on the basis that he is wishing for his wife's death which isn't even true as we have been shown multiple instances of him caring for her, protecting her even in front of his in-laws whom he very much fears. First, take a perspective into his life and what he has suffered then say that he is a red flag while saying Hae in is the epitome of an ideal wife which we are clearly shown she isn't.

The most boring drama ever, except for the leads' exceptional chemistry, everything was boring. It was misunderstandings piled upon misunderstandings without any resolution. The payoff for the romance wasn't satisfying. Even the confessions were ordinary in the drama. They should have cut the office drama and used that time to show us more of them dating. The FL is so insufferable in the second half that all the fun goes away from the drama. I mean in the last episodes she doesn't even know how to separate her professional and personal life. I know many people will come after me for saying this but I think it would have been better if they would have broken up in the end because she wasn't a good partner to have.

IU is a great actor but the way Kim Jiwon is playing Hong Hae In is on another level. She makes us sympathise with her, cry for her when cries and makes us root for her getting a happy ending.

Yes that may be the case. But I just don't want to see him in another negative role like this. He should play some grey characters or maybe some good character as he has the charm for it. I think if see him in another big budget dramas, i will feel like he is the villain or the accomplice of the villain
