Opposites attract
This KDrama feels like a series from 2015, but with a much more expensive budget. The travel part was lovely, but I feel like it could of still worked if it were filmed only in Korea and Japan. It has a slow romance, crazy family background, great leads and has a "one of the leads falls first, but the other falls harder" type of story. I loved the love story, honestly I don't remember a KDrama from recent years which made me feel like I was actually watching a couple falling love (great chemistry is not the same thing).The Hong Sisters are mostly known for darker stuff, and there is a storyline here which was hidden from the trailers, and may surprise some viewers. It is not exactly a rom-com, so be warned. So I would recommend it, but not for those who expect a fluffy rom-com, this is a romance drama with some comedy and horror elements.

There is a Japanese series called First Love which is very similar, but here there is no amnesia trope.
I have to say the love story was very lovely, especially loved the ML (both the younger and older version. )
The only thing I did not like, and why I cannot give it 10 stars is the wife and the fact the ML is married to a woman he does not love. Even if her character is unlikeable, even if she cheats on him, it still bothered me.

Best CDrama couple
This drama has my favorite CDrama couple. Tan Song Yun has great chemistry with her leads, but this was something else, it felt like watching a real couple's love story. Jing Bo Ran is such great actor, it is really hard to portray a "man of few words" type of character but he can talk with his eyes. I wish they would cast him in more modern dramas.The series does not have great production value, it has sloppy CGI, the police storyline was not for me, but the actors were so great I watched the whole thing, because I was so invested in their story.

You can only find such good dialogues in novels.
I loved every minute of this series. It has such a special atmosphere, with such small details that stuck in your mind, like the billboard, all those walks from the bus station, the fields around the house.I really loved the story of the elder sister and her crush, it was so realistic, yet romantic at the same time. The series has so much more than just romance, yet almost a year after watching it, the love stories are the storylines that stayed with me the most.
The FL's worklife is extremely relatable. We all have that moment, when we realize: working is not what we expected, it is not what we dreamed about as children.
This is one of those series that makes you think about your own life.
