Knowing that, he should just quit, dump Hae Ra, find a job at another company- he is skilled enough, and be with…
That is an interesting perspective -- maybe ambition is not huge leaps but rather the small steps we take unconsciously and before we know it, we become sharks.

100%. It is easy to root for a second lead here because at least he is decent enough to not play with the feelings…
LOL, true. It would require a certain amount of willful deaf and blind attitude to get through with being with HeRa. He seems to have quite a bit of patience with her.

ES doesn't look like the type to be willing 3rd wheel because it requires a lack of self-respect and utter self-centredness. Maybe it is the change of writer but I don't get why she wants to be the mistress girlfriend to this dude. What is so special about him that both these women are chasing him?

At least HeRa's parents have some self-respect to know that his crumbing is pathetic. If SeokJin wasn't good at his job, he would be cut off. While no one wants to say it out loud, they all know that HeRa does not have the brains to run the company and she needs someone to do the work. Hence, SeokJin is being tentatively accepted.

I know that with the first love trope, we are supposed to believe that SeokJin and EunSeol still have some unresolved feelings but honestly, it does not make sense to me. Okay, maybe I am not much of a romantic but who cares about stuff that happened in high school. Especially when you have gone through so much like a court case, would you still be wrapped up by what happened then. Part of me wonders if the only reason these two seem drawn to each other is to spite HeRa in a way.

Hae Ra got her nail-biting habit from Mi Ran.Hae Ra will need to be institutionalized when this is done. The truth…
100%. It is easy to root for a second lead here because at least he is decent enough to not play with the feelings of two women. No one is forcing Seok Jin to get married or engaged or dating HeRa. That is his independent choice. He may have his reasons but he is making a choice to get into that relationship. So why is he pursuing EunSeol? Why is he telling off HyeonJae? While HeRa is annoying, she does genuinely like SeokJin. So if he doesn't like her, why be in a relationship? That is just mean.

Looks like greedy granny is taking it upon herself to look for Eunseol's birth mom aka Aesook, aka Miran 😂Hope…
Grandma will be the next victim for MiRan. She looks bored and ready to kill.

So caught up on earlier episodes and I don't feel sorry for kiddo MiRan. The adoptive mother saw her as conniving child and chose JeongSeon who was truly a child without malice. She wasn't trying to impress the mother but she touched her heart. So while it was cruel to MiRan, even if she had been adopted, it would have been a failed adoption.

Given how much she despises JeongSeon and mentioned the flowers as tacky, I would not be surprised if there were other murders starting from childhood. Perhaps, even the adoptive mother of JeeongSeon. It just doesn't feel like EunSol's mom and Mr. Na were the only victims. MiRan comes across as a true psychopath/sociopath who fits into society because they know how to fake it but actually have no emotions like love, loyalty. All they feel is their own sense of importance.

While JeongSeon does not see, the chairman does not seem like a fool. He said MiRan was gaslighting JeongSeon with a fake resignation. So why does he keep her around? It seems like her being hired was JeongSeon's decision because he seems to not know any personal details even though she has worked for so long....

In a way, Mi Ran is unwittingly doing to Hae Ra what was done to her at the orphanage, but over 27 years. She…
MiRan called HaeRa her "masterpiece" -- so if the translation and nuance is the same in English, then HaeRa is an object, a way for her to control. It is very clear that MiRan does not feel true emotion like love or loyalty. She says she "misses Mr. Na" whom she killed. So HaeRa is going to get manipulated, abused when MiRan turns on her. She will not know who to turn to for help.

True at least Sabin is not rolling over and does try to push back in his own way. It does not really make sense who a 50+ couple cannot live separately. Why would the dad make such a request?

Seri will end up having more clashes with SY once JiHu and JiNi start dating. That whole scene at the store where Seri's hair was waving and the general was transfixed -- that was an odd scene. Whether it was a hint of things to come or just a scene, we will have to see.

Sabin's crash outs are not effective though. That is the problem. He still hasn't learned the skill of knowing how to protect someone because he has never had to. YeongJu likes to play martyr rather than doing anything practical. Thats why she held on to dead marriage for some 30 years and now realizes how stupid she was. She too needs to learn how to stand up for herself instead of being stubborn with stupid decisions.

Damn Ml's parents are beyond shameless to ask Sabin and Yeongju to move in with them. I was happy when Ml's mom…
What is sad is that Sabin is too much of a softie. While generally that is not a bad trait, it means he will get railroaded by his brother and sister-in-law. It is not outsiders that is the problem but his own. He does not have the skills to tell them to buzz off. So unless YeongJu learns from Seri on how to fight back, she is in for some miserable time.

I did not even think of this possibility!! That is very sad, poor Jihu 🥲
It will really burn the parents when JiHu enters the rebellious phase. It was mentioned that JiHu was very obedient and never had that angry teenager phase. So seeing him act out will bring all sorts of drama and repressed feelings out in the open. Looking forward to that arc.

JiHu is going to be even more hurt when he realizes why his parents are opposing Sabin's wedding to YeongJu. Both the dad and mom are hoping that through SaBin, the family line will continue and by him marrying someone appropriate in his own age group means that there will be no biological children in the family. So they are unwilling to let that dream go and that is why the mom is trying to push away YeongJu. So JiHu has never been enough for them. He was at best a placeholder and Sabin was supposed to fulfill what the mom and dad could not do -- produce a heir.

I feel like one day she might try to force Jihu back by trying to harm herself. I can totally see it.
DoHee does not seem the type to self-harm because she loves herself too much. However, if she can manipulate JiHu, she might try that tactic. She is more likely to harm others and in rage, can try attack someone.

DoHee is clearly a case of abused turning abuser. It was scary to watch her rip the clothes and destroy his room. JiHu is so used to being in the shadows that he says nothing which means his family has no idea how truly disturbed she is. I liked that JiHu said that he is not her therapist and cannot do anything for her. She is definitely going to rage against him as well as JiNi as some point. Will it lead to attempted murder? I really hope the writer does not pair her with brother#2. The poor guy can do better.

Apparently, the family has never actually checked her background or has done a really poor job of it, but has…
This is rather weird rich family. The couple is arguing in the bedroom and MiRan waltzes in with some juice/tea. Even butlers know when they shouldn't intrude. So it is really strange that this household gives MiRan so much free rein and trust.
