Why doesnβt Li Peiyi kneel when receiving the imperial edict? When others receive an im perial decree, they all…
I did notice this and and assumed it was because she was of higher status and carried Royal blood, your comment was very informative thank you for this detail :)
Does anyone know a place to watch trailers for the next 2 episodes other than IQIYI?If there is no way, can someone…
ep 9 will be the fl helping the ml in the game world then him explaining that he trusts her (basically clearing up the misunderstanding) over the crabs her uncle bought. ep 1o the ml seems to have hurt his hand and wants to wash his car with the fl, the secon scene they're at home and then her dad comes in thats were that clip ends hope this helps :)
the funniest part of ep 30 was when the taxi driver stayed there waiting for the FL for the drama (.ie. the brutal rejection). I was in tears his head he was so interested πππ
a rlly cool little detail i noticed is whenever the fl has flashbacks they're always in the third person because all the past events that occurred in her life are now told to her and her brain now reconstructs her memories in the third person as if she's never experienced them. but when the ml has a flash back he experiences it in the first person , like in ep 12 where he remembers what his sister told him. i think this shows how the director is trying to tell the audience that these new memories are reconstructed unreliable and different to others. imo this is rlly cool story telling and the most compelling amnesia arc I've ever watch from the way it was written to the fls interaction with others to how she goes on with her like and how she expresses her feeling abt losing her memories are just done so well in this drama
heres my ending theory for the drama as someone who hasn't read the novel (I am currently reading tho), the whole show, as in the 3 arcs that occurred were the fL's past life's memories, and when she got into the accident in the comma she had a flashback of her entire past life in the perspective of her modern self. so when she woke up she thought it was a dream, then when she meets the ml in the modern world he is the reincarnation of sima jiao's soul who also has faint memories of his past live thus why they recognized each other in the end. this is just me trying to make sense of the ending, I do think it needed more eps tbh. anyways let me know what you guys think and also (plz don't spoil the novel πππ)
How is the romance in this show? Is it slow burn in the background or they get together from the get go? Also…
right now it's in the background like every episode has a few moments but the main plot is the murder mysteries , I don't think they'll get together from the get go maybe half way or next week, for who's pursuing it's the ml (love at first sight) maybe not pursuing more admiration and he leads most of the romantic beats I'm the plot. I think it is mutual cuz she has some feelings too but she's not trusting of him yet imo
i don't like CGH but can we all appreciate the writing and his character development, from the first ep till the most resent ones we see him delve into madness and rage and i just think that he's honestly the most well written and complex character in the drama rn. and the acting is great too especially in ep 28 i was amazed tbh all the mixed emotions explored in tdy's eps were illustrated so well by the music, acting and writing
every ep the show gets better and better its just too good, i loved ep 13 and 14 so much i hope the fl can use her modern skills more in the drama we go a hint of that in ep 13 so i wish she could do more of that like the ml in guardians of the dafeng
In his defense, he was a little child too, so easy to manipulate. I'm sure he was fed lies throughout his life…
I do agree that he was a child, but in the flashback you can see that he was getting along with nan heng when they were hunting (unless he was pretending) and thn empress died on the same day. manipulation takes a long time to happen, and for it to have a serious impact on a person but as we saw he immediately began to hate him after he "killed his aunt" if you see the look on his face and that's when the rift between them started to form. so yes I do think that he was also just a child and he should be given the benefit of the doubt on that end but throughout his life he has been on good terms within the ml until that day when turned his back on him which further shows his fickle nature which is also seen further on in his adulthood.
CGH is really getting on my nerves, he first blames a child for the death of his aunt as if that isn't his mom like logically why would a kid want to kill his own mother. then while he's grieving and locked up in the cold palace he demands his stuff back and assaults him (like time and place man). then over the years he continues to have this bias against him as if he wasn't the one who was nice to him in the beginning. the ml has been betrayed so many times. and if someone says its because he is Nan heng i disagree because when they planed the assassination he bailed last minuet and betrayed li shiliu and the nightwalkers in general showing that his character is just unloyal and backstaby buy default. he has this pretentious righteousness which doesn't translate through his actions every time he does something he's supposed to according to his character its always the fl telling him too, like she tells him to trust li shilu (which he doesn't until rlly later on which just shows he's been lying/pretending to be a team ) and she tells him to put out the fire first before anything else, which in the end just makes him a pretentious person who thinks he's morally superior to everyone else. anyways he was just annoying me from the beginning and now i finally have justification for my hatred for the sml
People who grew up in a safe and peaceful environment think the ML is toxic. People who grew up in a toxic environment…
I don't ahree, I don't think this argument is about the upbringing of viewers I think his more of a media literally issue, I think people aren't watching with a nuanced approach, and are just judging the fl outright. and I don't think the argument is useless because people with the latter view (being that the fl is being unfair and biased) are breeding toxicity towards the fl and this is gonna get worse later on the show( if the fl makes a mistake for example) people will start a hate train for her. also I've been through a lot of airing eras where people constantly hate on fls for being naive or overreacting basically very unfair arguments. so I do disagree that these realities are crashing as these arguments are made just to bring women down every time unfairly.
idk why a lot of people are hating on the fl. she's been my favorite fl this month tbh she's so funny and cute. and the fact that people are mad at her for "misunderstanding the ml" you have to understand that ALL of their interactions so far have either been him trying to kill her or insulting/threatening her in some way also she's read the script and the script paints him in a horrible light (at least the part she's read) so it makes sense that she doesn't like the ml. other than that she's impartial she doesn't see the sml as a romantic lead more of a brother type imo, and these eps tdy show that she's not totally biased as you can see her lose trust in him slowly so I do think that these criticisms about her character are unfair.
ep 1o the ml seems to have hurt his hand and wants to wash his car with the fl, the secon scene they're at home and then her dad comes in thats were that clip ends
hope this helps :)
