Thank you i will replay it again. And yes Joy of Life is my favourite drama ever, the mood and emotion it evokes is like nothing I've ever watched 😭 i finished it towards the end of june and i've been struggling to find a new show to watch

So it starts with her fighting and then there is a general i think who is the main lead's father and he dies. And the ML blames the FL but I'm not sure why? Then her brother (or cousin i'm not sure how they are related) comes back from somewhere and suddenly she's blind and at a random temple. I was just confused as to what the main plot is.

Okay hearing it gets better at ep 9 i'll keep going

I've just finished ep 4. I dont know if its because i havent read the novel, but I don't understand what is happening...? I also made a mistake comparing it to The Double because it was the same author so I was expecting similar production value, slow burn thoughtful storytelling etc but it feels very choppy and disjointed.

Also the show is genuinely really good. It hits its stride at like ep 3 and doesnt stop going

Ngl i came here for the BL vibes, but i dont ship Yun Jae and Ji Hun at all bc Yun Jae is so infuriating ! Like you have a gf why are you letting another girl hang on your arm!! However a ship I didn’t expect to like was Yuri x Jihun! They are soooooo cute 😭😭 I can’t believe a "straight" ship is not canon 😭😭

I think its the novel fans i havent read the novel so it doesnt bother me. I think the best thing is to read novels after watching the drama

The Double is such a special drama, I'm waiting for another drama that hits like that
