Yeah i like this drama but i don't love it. I hate when this happens especially when a drama is so popular but i think its a matter of taste. I prefer dramas that have more substance than just romance between the main leads. For the FL what do we know about her? What is it she values in life? Everything she does thats impressive she does for the ML and i'm struggling to understand why. What I liked about Flourished Peony was the fact that Mudan had a life she wanted to live, it doesn't need to be anything grand, she simply wanted to open a flower shop. I can't really ascertain what the end goal of this drama is, or what it is i should be excited about.

I havent finished watching it, but romance is a subplot and it doesn't take centerstage. Its very, very good, and the FL is just incredible

I think you would like a journey to love if you want another show for your list, its a wuxia with politics.
