Nah some of these comments are quite disingenuous, no way you could watch the last few episodes and say the FL & the ML have no chemistry together especially the makeout scene on the bench where they were almost about to have “fun” time until they got interrupted. Some of yall are just fast forwarding or watching on a faster speed level just to maintain a weak stance imo. Allowing bias and pettiness to affect your view is quite sad.

It’s quite sad when there are many shows to watch but we see the same people complaining every episode, it’s quite telling lol I watch many shows and I do see some of the same users bashing the actress on many of the comments sections, I feel bad for her to have people that obsessed to follow her on every project and recycling the same words 😅 Park Bo Gum chose her to be his FL for a reason, sorry some people allow their partialness to prevent them from enjoying their scenes.

Never understood the romance is not needed argument, you can use that argument for almost every drama and movie then lol I guess it is unnatural for characters to have love lives

Ep 8 was epic! The tunnel scene was so exciting! I never really understood people who said romance is unnecessary. People are not allow to fall in love in real life? People can go through many different things in their life journey including a love life. Romance helps mold the characters as well and shows that their life is beyond just going after the baddies and their professional life lol might as well omit and remove romance from every single movie and drama because technically if you remove romance from it, nothing would really change if that’s the argument 😆 maybe go watch a documentary that focuses solely on a profession and nothing on a person personal life

It’s not a failure if it’s intentional. this drama has been promoted by the cast that it will be a drama with many genres including comedy, action, thriller, romance, etc. it was touted as multi-genre.

To argue this drama has no real plot is an exaggeration but it’s your opinion.

Aren’t we tired of the same drama formula again and again? I appreciate a drama that is willing to experiment and blend genres. In my opinion I think they balanced it well. It’s okay if you disagree.

In the real world, believe it or not there are so many different types of police officers and yes even hot blooded cops like Dong Ju exist. Yes there are many cops out there trained to remain calm and rational but in their line of work, it can be quite stressful and they could easily be provoked. And history shows how brutal and impulsive certain cops can be especially during political turmoil, racial divisions, and etc. there are many video clips circulated around the world of their unfortunate behaviors. And many police officers are protected no matter their behaviors and actions due to unions, politics, and so forth. People don’t naturally shut off their personalities and characteristics just because they are at work. In an ideal world we would love to see police officer being pacifists and peaceful and level-headed but life is far from perfection. Putting on a uniform doesn’t change who you fundamentally
are.

second all don’t forget we are watching a drama. For example: Explosions, fist fights, gun fights and car chases at these kind of levels in all action movies/dramas such as James Bond, Fast and Furious, Mission Impossible, it is very unlikely it occurs at least in these kind of intensities and frequencies in real life. I see where you are coming from but also we have to allow some suspensions of reality haha

I can kind of understand that him having no strong backing might be a tad unrealistic but we do see him at least facing consequences for some of his impulsiveness.

Mostly the same group of people making new accounts and/or tag-teaming and saying the same recycled thing in every single KSH drama. I remember some of you and your style of writing, don’t think by making brand new accounts you can hide. It’s quite parasocial to be so obsessed with an actress who doesn’t know you. Korean media, Korean critics, and general Koreans praise her nuance acting in Good Boy. Both this actress and PBG and the entire cast is doing a phenomenal job. I appreciate the writer giving us multi-faceted characters and not just the same carbon copy of male or female leads

Is it natural to expect instant changes and improvements? Some people in real life take years if not an entire lifetime to fix bad habits haha also we are only 6 episodes in. He was never promoted as a brilliant character with a calm demeanor so it personally doesn’t bother me. I embrace his hot blooded personality and impulsiveness, it’s a nice change from many cookie cutter male leads haha

Thank you! The world is filled with many different types of people so I never really understood why people who complain about drama tropes would contradictory only accepts a certain type of male lead. Effective male leads can come in many different forms and personalities

I wouldn’t call it poorly written if that’s how the character is from the very beginning. If his character was promoted as someone who was a genius and rational and cool-headed and he acts otherwise, contrary to how his character was promoted. I would understand the frustration but this is who he is from the beginning. He is true to himself. He is rash and can be impulsive and do certain things without thinking it completely through but he’s also full of conviction, kindness, compassion, courage, and etc. he has a mix of good and bad traits just like any other human haha

I love his character, I’m a little tired of the well-rounded, level-headed main male leads. I like characters with a more colorful personality. PBG acting and camaraderie and chemistry with everyone is perfect. I love that although he can be impulsive he is loyal and know what he wants. I never really understood the problem of his character loving someone for a long time. It happens in real life, harboring secret crushes and love for months if not years. The right timing is everything. Therefore I swoon when he shows his love for Ji Hanna. They are so great together. Maybe some of the viewers just want PBG love for themselves 😆

It’s okay, some people have unrealistic expectations and watch everything with a critical eye. If one strand of hair is out of place, they will call it out lol there will be some people who just won’t like it and that’s fine and there are those who just love to hate watch so they can just feel good while hating hahaha humans can be quite peculiar.
