Title One Day Off
I love dramas set in the 1900s I ought to watch this one!
The way you phrased this is so funny 😭. Younger zoomers make me feel ancient, the 1900s lmao

One of the cutest shows I've started in a while. The leads are just so sweet and charming

???? what behaviour?
He and Ren Min did a livestream around the time that Serenade of Peaceful Joy came out and he kept making fun of her and the way she looks. He was very young and people change as they get older, but it was just so sad to see Ren Min being put down like that. I hope he's grown up and isn't such a cocky little prick anymore.

seeing many comments with overrated ratings and all just gonna leave it hereImdb 8.9Douban 8.8 (50k users extremely…
Douban raters are only picky when it comes to Chinese domestic works. Anything non-Chinese is inflated to hell. And including Viki or Imdb is insanely laughable.

random thought: how did I not notice how good looking LGX is? just watched two of his modern dramas after Shen…
He's so good looking. He looks like a mature more manly version Lin Yi.

The drug test came back positive. So he definitely broke the law regardless of the outcome of the eventual court…
Lindsay Lohan had several movies released during the years that she had addiction issues and legal trouble. Robert Downey Jr. also had multiple movies released when he was struggling with drug/legal issues. Ezra Miller had huge controversies the last few years yet the movie where he was the fucking titular character was still released. You really know nothing yet say things like they're fact.

Me Too involved sexual assault, which means the accused had direct victims. YAI only hurt himself. Athletes have to be sure there are no substances in their system because it affects their performance. Your comparisons don't fit at all.

Huge difference between driving drunk and what YAI did. Drunk driving could literally kill someone else. YAI was only physically hurting himself. Yeah, it sucks that the people involved in the drama are affected, but it's absolutely absurd to compare the two. Again, if Korean culture wasn't so insanely toxic the drama could be released in its original form and this wouldn't affect them as much as it is.

Addiction is a disease. If it were as simple as you say then no one would stay an addict, yet people (even rich people with the best resources) struggle their entire lives with being sober. Fuck off with your holier than thou "no reason to use illegal drugs" as if doing drugs doesn't ruin people's lives and they want to be on them.

Wow, as I see more and more of your comments I can see how brainwashed you are. Blaming him for affecting his costars when he himself is struggling instead of rightfully blaming insane toxic Korean culture is fucking wild. Someone who is struggling with issues like he is isn't going to be thinking of those consequences. He needs help. He is one individual, his personal life shouldn't make or break a huge project like this. Yet crazy Korean netizens will raise hell until their demands are met and he is taken out of the show and ostracized from society. Like I'm just so bewildered at you and comments like yours that continue to defend huge corporations like Netflix for "making a business decision" (and this decision only is being made because of toxic Korean netizens NOT Yoo Ah In, Netflix doesn't care when it's a western celebrity because western fans aren't batshit, so yes it IS cancel culture) and you defend the ridiculously harmful punishments that both the law and society of Korea have in place for people who make mistakes. Like, keep bootlicking dude.

Omg the cameo from her Wild Bloom costar 😭. I'm loving all of the easter eggs and fan service. Plus it's just a great show so far. It's a lot different than what I expected but not in a bad way. It's pretty lighthearted but it's deep when it counts. Their relationship is so funny and sweet and the chemistry between ZLY and LGX doesn't disappoint . I'm so happy with the lead characters. Shen Li is a badass but she's also playful. Xingzhi is so unserious and I love how different of a ML he is. You think he's gonna be this typical aloof god like in most xianxias but he's so silly. I really love them so much.

I was not a fan of Goblin at all, not because of dumbass "grooming" like other commenters suggest, I just didn't like the FL and the story was thin as hell but tried to seem deeper than it was. But I'm really digging QOT. I'm glad it's getting so much attention. Especially KJW, I've loved her since FFMW, she deserves all of the adoration.

Let's be honest... ya'll trust douban rating? this drama is rated on 7.2/10 while war of faith is 7.8, In Blossom…
7.2 is actually a pretty good rating for douban! Anything 7+ typically means it's a good show. MDL is just inflated. Douban can't always be trusted, but it's pretty reliable.

they didn't cut all of his scenes obviously, and he deserves punishment, he broke law by doing several illegal…
Why do you keep responding to so many people who clearly disagree with you? I know he didn't just smoke weed. I don't think the use of any kind of drug is a moral failing nor does it warrant severe punishment. As I said, I believe in rehabilitation. "He broke the law," as if the law is the almighty ruling of humanity. The law fails people all of the time. If you want him to be able to make a comeback and be healthy then prison and ostracizing him is not the answer.

HYT does not look good in ancient settings. I thought it was just the styling in Handsome Siblings but nope lol, he just doesn't have the face for it.

her being so low on the list makes you realize how young MDL users are 😂
If the list were made ten years ago the results would be very different lol. Of course people have different tastes and having your faves is totally fine lmao but I think you're underestimating just how popular those OG actresses really were. Watching their dramas now is a very different experience than watching and being in the dramasphere back then. Not having iconic actresses like JJH seems crazy to older (by older I literally just mean most people in their twenties and above 💀) drama fans lol. It would be like having a kpop girl group list and not including Girls Generation. They definitely aren't as popular now as groups like Newjeans, but they're an integral part of kpop.

I fully realize this is all silly too though btw. I'm just shooting the shit for fun, please don't take me too seriously lol.
