Yep Its either gonna be the best drama of this year or worst. This was my most anticipated drama of the whole year.

is this good i mean apart from lee min ho (i am not a big fan of him). It seems promising but i hate political stuff

nah children are not actually treated this way. Yes i cannot deny it completely we do get a lot of scolding and beating from our parents because of societal pressure and studies but its not THAT exaggerated. Asian syndrome is like basically stereotypes associated with asians like the "smart" kids , have strict parents....

Its still exaggerated its not like his parents literally tried to break his leg. All parents want the best out of their children and it is important to acknowledge this. But in the prespective of the drama taking half a episode to scold ur daughter instead of using that time to show some charecter improvement just is really dramatic.

tbh this year the kdramas are in a slump its like i have been forcing myself to like them. And about the rating part its just my opinion just because i said something doesnt mean its gonna affect the rating. But the asian part is very exagerrated. I mean it does happen even with me my mom scolds me and beats me for the most random things but liike in the prespective of the drama they literally took half of the drama just for the mother to scold the daughter. 2nd ep is good compared to 1 st eagerly waiting for 3rd lol.

Yeah both love like the galaxy and alchemy of souls were amazing if u liked these two then u might also like story of kunning palace, new life begins and destined. All of them are historical dramas that are so good. I was in the same position as you i gave this drama like 4 chances and the 5th chance was the time i started liking it. I generally am into romance dramas more than political but this one was new for me. It just depends on the timing and mood whenever u watch a drama. :D

maybe its just not your type. You dont need to force urself to watch it. Just find the best mood. Its amazing but has little romance.

why does this have such a high rating. first time i have said this to a kdrama. UMM... uhhhh.....maybe becuz its the only drama thats decent but its def not worthy of 8.7 compared to other dramas. I love the actors but thats really it. Watched the first two eps so cant really judge yet but the first ep felt so awkward and half the time the mother was scolding her daughter. I mean i get it ASIAN syndrome but as a half asian myself. This is not the reality, like it feels exagerated but oh well lets see how it goes. For the first two eps i will give like 7.5-7.8

stating an opinion isnt a crime on a comment section but repeatedly forcing someone or defaming them for not having the same opinion is. So dont get twisted get a doctor if u need help to cope with this. I am not going to continue this conversation further as it will be a waste of my precious time.

this may come off as a bit weird but i get scared everytime this actress comes on screen because she reminds me of my french teacher. They look so similar like its as if someone ctrl C and then CTRL V . Not only that they have the same haircut and they even have the same aesthetic in dressing and my teacher is also around 26 years old.😭😭😭😭

gonna give this a second chance cuz recently the kdramas have been lacking. 😭the only decent ones were like doctor slump AND QOT . And they have stopped airing since so long. These two last months the korean industry has been in a slump

true i was also a bit annoyed at that part but u know its just a drama. They just need to create a conflict and stuff. LOL the mls action are not justified but while they were in highschool i loved that part. I kinda just skip everytime when the older version comes up. so yeah i agree with u but i still liked. The conflict was a bit unecessary but oh well still an overall good drama of puppy love

The male actor's charecter is terrible but at least his acting is decent. On the other hand fls charecter is much more nice yet her acting ruined that role. Now do u get it?

bro its not about being hot, personally i dont know about you but the ml is not my type but i guess he is considered hot and he has decent at acting. On the other hand the female she is also decently pretty but her acting is wayy too cringe like u dont get the emotion that she is the mother instead it feels like she is the nanny.
