Ok i get it we all love yang yang and how good he looks and his acting skills but apart from this the whole drama was a mess. I dont know about others i know a lot of other people liekd it but it just wasnt a thing for me. i generally like dramas in which i can somehwat relate to the charecter but this one both of the leads were pictured as perfect wihtout any flaws and i dont see myself in of the charesters . i got easily bored and gave up and i dont like the fls acting idk it creeps me out for some reason. this is just my opinion dont try to change my ind cu i have alread y given this drama like 5 tries which is a lot for me and i cant pass ep 2

this was my first cdrama. At that time i was a pre teen who loved cute cringey love stories and my fav drama at that time was The Heirs ( The cringiest drama in existence). I was new to dramas at that time and didnt even know the difference between kdrama and cdrama. i remember just scrolling on my youtube page and finding this drama. The poster or thumbnail of the drama caught my eye instantly. At that time i loved it so much then i started watching other cdramas and now i am a drama addict. Back to the present, now that i look back at it, this drama was very cringe and the plot was the cliche hot tall rich ml with poor smoll cutesy fl. Nowadays i am into more down to earth dramas and when i compare my taste with this drama and the ones i am watching now. I feel cringed out but for some reason. i rewatched the drama but to my surprise i was not disgusted and hesitated as i initially thought i would be. i think the reason that ost people love this drama so much is not because its the cliche plot or the elements present in this drama but the fresh concept of friendship between the boy gang and the fl and her friend and the uniqueness of the cute scenes. Its got that addicted hint of sparkle and no one knows what or how it works.

so the yin iron is just an element to make the two leads be more close together. That makes more sense because i thought that was the main conflict of the whole story. LOL i am glad those stupid wen birds die. LOL. I still love the school days more because their cute conflicts were so funny and adorable.

Bro i am halfway into the series and i kinda get it now why the scholars had to go to wen clan but also i have another question why do wang yi bo and xiao zhan not hide the stygian metal carefully like they are screaming in public when there are the spy birds outside.???? Anyways i am starting to understand but i like the first 10 eps so much i wished they could expand on that.

I HAVE TO FORCE MYSELF THOUGH I LOVE THE TWO MAIN LEAADS 😭😭😭 and wang yibo and xiao zhan i cant miss out on these two cuties

so the thing is i have been keeping this drama under my watchlist since like 3 years. i have had no motivation to watch until like a few days ago. currently i am on ep 17 and i feel so lost why they had to go to the enemys clan ??? i just lost my track after ep 13. I thought this was just two guy friends and their friendship but after someone mentioning that it is adapted from a bl anime and novel. My hopes for this drama literally hit very low. So listen to me before you all attack on me i REALLY REALLY WANT TO Love this but i have had trauma with watching bl before and the scenes. They have traumatized me. The only bromance drama i have liked is hikaru no go and its not even bromance its just friendship. SO idk if i should give it another chance. I really love the leads especially Wang yi bo HE IS SO Hot OMLLLLLLLL MARRY ME ALREADY PLSSSSSSS. Xiao zhan is also very cute and i liked him in oath of love but i had to drop it becuz the drama was so damn slow. Anyway another thing i want to add here is that its a wuxia and i am not into fantasy world or xanxia. I hate the fake effects. SO SOMEONE TELL ME SHOULD I WATCH IT???????????

i guess its because the director initially wanted to create a bl drama but after reading the guidelines of Chinese entertainment he had to bring it down to bromance. They do have some interesting scenes though.LOL

honestly i love everything about this drama except for the mls acting. He just reads the script and never really acts with the emotions. i liked him in a love so beautiful but here idk the role does not suit him. he is just an eye candy. This is just a personal opinion dont take it to heart.
