I rewatch this thrice and now rewatching again, but I just realized: isnt Kim Sabu a CEO of Doldam Trauma Center…
At the end of S2, Kim Sabu was made the sole representative of the foundation at Doldam Hospital, which ultimately meant it could run independently. I suppose he could be called a CEO, though director Park seems to be the main managing director. Doldam Trauma Center didn't exist yet in S2, it was something Kim Sabu and director Park fought for and built together with the help of many investors, and they still need public investment to make it feasible. Kim Sabu doesn't own it, I don't think so.
Haven't watched the Korean version, but this one, to me, ended up falling flat even though it had every premise to be enjoyable. That's mostly because, obviously and sadly, Artit fell in love with the ghost, not with Jiew, who was barely there the whole drama. Jiew and the ghost's personalities were so opposed that the actress' acting felt overly done and difficult to endure.
Kim Nak Su has his own perspective and a clear idea of what success means. His only problem is that he keeps trying…
Yet that's probably what made him a great salesman to begin with, wasn't it? It seems to me that his biggest problem now is that he became somewhat outdated with new technologies and how things work internet-wise and whatnot. He mostly shines in more traditional settings.
After all the avoidance and running away from previous episodes, I was disappointed with the way the second couple is suddenly official, simply like that.
Surely similar will happen to the main "couple". Guessing by the last episode's preview, they possibly had a one night stand, but the ML doesn't seem to be over his ex-wife and things will just come down to nothing. The ex-bf/ ex-fiancé will also show up again to possibly instill some drama.
I agree. I can feel satisfied and take pleasure in knowing that he was punished. But laughing like that while…
I think they started watching the video still in the glow of the aftermath of the victory in court. Then came back to their senses while actually watching the sister completely out of herself beating the husband, after he himself had abused her - the same way he probably did countless times. It was too sad and horrible and of course they couldn't keep watching.
They couldn't truly get justice to her sister-only by stooping down to his awful level they were able to save…
Yes, the sister is a public figure and I don't think she ever had any intention of suing her husband for DV. She had been suffering for years without telling anyone and even lying to the doctors. Also the only reason she installed the surveillance camera was to see what exactly was happening when she blacked out - not to get any evidence against the husband.
Anyway, it doesn't seem like the husband will be recovering any time soon. I was just waiting to see if his family would show up, but maybe he didn't have any.
I also think the punishment was low, but Hyo Min brought proof that the victim jaywalked in that exact same area…
When they played the video of the accident, it was said she was crossing the street (6 lanes) exactly as she always did. Apparently she wasn't staggering or anything, just up and off to the bar as if nothing had happened, lol 😆
IKR? The woman is just bizarre, wanting her cake and eating it too. She divorced the man, but kept on making him…
Ah, I missed the part where it was him who insisted she would keep making him soap and perfume. It's indeed a bit weird considering she got married in the meantime.
Yes, I thought that the ex was off the picture as well, but alas, the dog. Perhaps now the ex-wife will completely lose custody and ties will be cut once and for all!

I'm sure her sentence was reduced due to the heavy bullying that lead to the first crime.
Not much background was provided for the bully, but she surely had a loose screw. What kind of person is heading for a bar, is knocked down unconscious and then, when coming back to all bloody and all, just goes on as if nothing had happened.
I didn't expect his ex wife will make an appearance again. not after I already threw a farewell party.

Hmm. I guess he needs to be in a vulnerable position so the that FL can step in and care for him.
Truth. But at the same time, it is reality. Very few actually honors confidentiality. Humans cannot hold something…
I think that, in episode 9, supposedly the case was already very much public. Everyone under the sun would flinch just by hearing the perpetrator's name and was surely following the news about his death and trial on TV. What was unusual was having all that splashed on TV, I thought.
I'm on the fence about the FL roping in her doctor friend in the middle of the night to help out with a medical perspective. They had been selecting other reputable doctors just for that too, and to speak in court as well.
Episode 10 was a bit too much. We saw how now the ML trusts her enough not to care anymore if she just disappears during working hours but, in reality, who won the case was the FL's mother. In court, someone seems to have whispered something along the lines "where did they get the footage? It may not be admissable.", but I guess the drama isn't concerned about showing every single legal detail.
I totally agree that the female lead is not up for the part- she does not portray the range of emotions that her…
Yes, they gambled and chose her beauty and popularity over acting skills. She also looks a bit young for the part... Yet I was saying she was inexperienced, but looking at her profile, she was cast as the main actress in many dramas, she's not inexperienced at all😂
It's indeed a pity. Most of the other actors are acting superbly.
IMO, a lot of what people are dissatisfied about has to do with the FL's inexperience or acting skills... Her character, I think, was supposed to be of this seemingly carefree woman who only got dead serious when it came to her cooking and its flavour. The Japanese arc would serve to reveal a surprising side to this otherwise stoic/ one-goal-oriented female, one in which she had once belonged in a very sophisticated environment, had fully trusted and respected someone (both her ex and chef Tatsuo) but had been betrayed and fallen from grace. She is offered the opportunity to relive everything again, but chooses to go back with the ML to "their" simpler life. And then comes the part where she will have to deal with a potential second betrayal...
The focus should have been on the weight of this decision, a potential turning point in her life. The ex was supposed to be someone who knew her well and was there to remind her it was a a world she had fun in and not all was horrible (their getting back together as a couple was all just in ML's head), but alas, his presence was too overwhelming, haha.
However, I don't think the actress was quite able to portray this dual side of her character and, besides the part where she was seen playing with the kids and laughing away despite just having unfairly lost the food competition, she comes off as stiff, too serious and lacking a sense of humour. In turn making the ML seem like a real doofus, instead of it being a playful treatment between them.
I think chef Jung and her sidekick (the secretary) were supposed to be a more comical duo, like a villain in some…
Yes, that was the initial skit. She kept shouting at Beom U to get her some good recipes, like it was the recipe's fault and not her own lack of talent. So it's ironic it's now a success. 🙄
