"So this is love. So this is love."
Let me start by getting the bad stuff out of the way.
As usual with these Thai GL dramas, the abusive/homophobic family members didn't get their comeuppance. Prem's parents were literally the devil incarnate, and I got the sense that they actually ENJOYED tormenting their own daughter. Even in the finale, every apology they made sounded fake and insincere, and their mere presence still made me feel cold. I really wish that Prem would have just disowned them, rather than immediately forgive them when she saw that Pat was still alive. Pat and her progressive parents are a much better family for Prem.
The rest of the show was amazing. I cried A LOT (especially during episode 9), and the show was filled with memorable scenes that I still rewatch, even now that I've finished the series. Just like many of my favourite GL dramas (most notably Pluto), the 2 lead actresses had amazing chemistry. Jayna and Ginny really poured their hearts and souls into their characters, and every one of their scenes just felt so natural, like I was watching a real-life couple fall in love. The supporting cast was also great, with Sita, Nam (the show's best villain), and Pat's father being my personal favourites.
The soundtrack was also solid. "So This Is Love" is one of my favourite songs of 2025.
