I think they already confirmed she pulled out of the play due to backlash. Probably not the wisest timing to try this so soon after she was seen as trying to stir shit for Kim Soo-hyun with that picture.
Whats this? I just read there is a disappointing finale and the stars who were going to film a "soother" can't…
Yes, nothing of what you say is accurate. Some people misunderstood a poor translation. The disappointment is about the drama ending, not that the ending itself story-wise is disappointing. Also the special episodes are a gift to fans because of the drama's popularity. Also there is nothing to suggest a sad ending; this writer usually has a happy ending to her dramas.
Praying that the global OTT is either Netflix or Viki.
I don’t mind either way, I’m just scared about another High Cookie situation where no global OTT materialized and we still don’t have proper English subs for it 😭
Just curious. What does everyone think of Wi Ha Joon and his acting capabilities? Good, bad or average?
Very versatile. Loved him in Little Women. His supporting role in 18 Again where he had an (unrequited) noona romance story makes me believe he will be perfect for this. I sort of hoped the FL would choose him instead of the old version of Lee Do-hyun's character 🤣
How is it plain? Just out of curiosity, I’m so sick of traveling back in time etc this one I’m so excited…
By “plain” they seem to mean authentic and true to life. Because that’s what Ahn Pan-seok dramas are like. No bells and whistles. And it’s what so many people love about his dramas. But if someone is unfamiliar with his style, I guess it could come across as less exciting than your glossy seaside slice of life dramas or fantasy fare.
I also just feel like KSH and IU have big sibling energy so idk how it would’ve been to see them in a sweeping romance. I think it all turned out for the best for everyone. Can’t wait for her drama with Bogum.
They better stay true to the preview this time and give us those lovey-dovey moments and fluff next episode cause…
There were many beautiful moments, so I don't understand this. Them on the couch together, them sharing a meal at his apartment, him feeding her lettuce at the family meal, him drying her hair again at her request, the hilarious scene with him returning the ring and so on.
But her situation is serious, so it would make no sense to give us long stretches of lovey-dovey moments as long as she still thinks she is dying. It wouldn't fit where they are in the narrative.
