Uh, I've not heard of many 13-year-old boys who dream of leaving their well-paying job behind and taking a rookie teaching job at 29 because of an instructor they had a crush on at 19.

I'm struggling a bit with taking the actor who plays the brother seriously. It seems like he's cosplaying Park Seo-joon's character from Fight For My Way with the acting choices and mannerisms.

I absolutely loved this and rated it 10/10 but it's going to be nice when Midnight Romance in Hagwon starts in QOT's slot on May 11, promising a slightly more peaceful and less intense and crazy ride. 🤣

That is the dream! They're too good together not to do another drama at some point.

I doubt the writer cares much, since she wrote both CLOY and QOT 🤣

Well deserved! It's been a long time since I've enjoyed following an ongoing drama this much. 🥳

Worst case it would be postponed a week, but I don't think they would've dated it August 7 without considering the Olympics.

Among those who have marked the drama as 'Completed', the rating is 8.92, so I'd say most people agree with you. Every drama has its detractors though, and they like to make themselves heard loudly and repeatedly in the comment sections on this site. There's gonna be a lot of "Am I the only one who didn't like this??" and "Overrated!!" here in the next days.🤣

The rating means it passed JTBC's Sky Castle too, and is the third highest rated cable drama. 🥳

I wouldn't be surprised to see it on Netflix eventually. And it might be a better fit for a full drop than weekly anyway, since his dramas are non-flashy slow burns.

That's interesting with MMH; I could've sworn Amazon Prime had it everywhere outside of Korea (where TVING was the OTT of course).

Can we remove the comedy tag on this page now then? Viki lists it as romance/melodrama which we've all known it would be all along based on who the director is. It's misleading.

Monday-Tuesday dramas (like this was meant to be) are usually not streamed on Netflix. It was the same with My Lovely Liar, Twinkling Watermelon, Marry My Husband and Wedding Impossible too. Netflix typically picks up the weekend dramas, which may be more costly, but also tend to yield higher viewing figures, both on tvN and Netflix.

I'd say the cinematography is also above 7; the drama looks very good. Unfortunately you cannot just have good acting and good cinematography. Script and editing are both crucial elements.

I think there's a good chance they'll accept it. It's been weeks since they said they were positively reviewing it. Usually if they reject it, it doesn't take this long to do so. Like when Hyunwook was offered I'm Against My Romance, his agency put out a statement about him "politely declining" the offer for that drama rather quickly.

The fact that there's still quite a lot of Yoo Ah In shows that they only re-edited so they could say they did, and that makes it worse, because the director said they did it because they didn't want to make viewers "uncomfortable" (ha!) but really what's the difference if they show him on screen for ten minutes or fifteen minutes in an episode? Nothing. Compromising their vision just to avoid criticism. So cowardly. And now it's biting them in the ass because so many are saying the story is borderline incomprehensible.

Hopefully her next drama comes quicker! The wait between CLOY and QOT was too long.

I've only seen one or two hate comments here recently - most people definitely seem to think it was stupid to re-edit the show, and most people who aren't crazy knetz don't think it's fair that someone's life and career is ruined because they've had problems with drugs.
