And I still do not get it why Amo was in that show in the first place. Did I miss what was her history? I guess she was my favorite if I had to pick one but I strongly feel she didn't belong here.

Contestants had way more time to bond with Yanbo, but I didn't as a viewer because that was like only two-something episodes in? With barely one hour together. So when it was time for him to leave, the contestants were incredibly sad and teary-eyed - especially that one girl. But me? I want to be equally sad but I can't because I'm like bruh I don't even know you that well. Yes you were funny couple of times but that is not enough. This pattern tended to repeat until the end unfortunately. That ultimately left me feeling this show, while entertaining is too superficial
Absurdly entertaining and quite often hilariously mental. It felt like watching a trainwreck happening in real time - I just couldn't get my eyes off. Even opening is mental lmao. But compared to Korean dating shows, this felt way too compressed and fast-paced. I personally believe we were shown too less to get truly bonded, and thus cognitive dissonance was quite severe. As these contestants need time to get familiar with each other and close, same kind of investments needs to happen with the viewers - or at least with me. The pace and editing is important.
I'm torn between being really excited and being cautious. I generally enjoy the director's movies, but his previous one "Omniscient Reader" which was extremely underwhelming but kind of entertaining if you reallyreallyreally turn off your brain. However, people online based and hated this movie very passionately as it has failed at every aspect as an adaptation.
I almost had a chance to see it at BIFF yesterday but schedule didnt't work out so I'll wait until winter :D
Yeeun driving episode = Welcome back Yeeun! π (After the "burned-out" side comment which led to her getting…
I was laughing so much that I teared up when she was eating without using hands :D:D:D not to mention how she chomped each bite. That was truly so funny segment. E748 was truly fun episode
I personally felt the ending was too abrupt and slightly weak, but I generally really enjoyed it. It was a great drama. I was often reminded of a quote from Persona 3: "You don't have to save the world to find meaning in life... Sometimes all you need is something simple, like someone to take care of. I'll keep on living no matter what , so that I can protect you..."
omfg, when exactly they're going to stop hiring Ji Ye Eun as rental member? She's stiff, stubborn af, liar, and…
I personally love her, she's charming, cute and mischievous, adds totally new synergy to the team of older people and especially that mischievious part of her (bluffing about the skills of doing something well etc) overall suits well with the team. That's why I think one of the recent episodes where Kim Ayoung and Joo Hyunyoung were the guests was one of the best and funniest one after a while. I wish all three of them would become permanent members :D Anyway, about "flirting to anyone for no f'ing reason": do you remember Lee Gwangsoo?? Didn't he do the literally same for almost 500 episodes :D:D
I still haven't seen it. Is it better to wait for season 2 and then watch it, or is it okay to watch it now? I generally don't want to invest my time and start TV shows that are not completed or might never be finished. I don't quite like cliffhangers between seasons, especially if it takes more than 2-3 years to make a new season.
Only 4 so far (which where mostly average), but looking at the rest of upcoming horror movies in 2024, there are not many potential contenders for the better horror movie anyway. Some of them probably will be good or great even, for example have high hopes for "Alien: Romulus" but not as near perfection than "Exhuma." So I believe nothing else will top "Exhuma" this year.
I don't think there will be a better horror movie coming out this year. We have already peaked with "Exhuma." Not only South Korea, but globally. Holy crap how amazing this movie is. Korean cinema at its finest. It reminded me again why I truly love Korean movies. I already had quite high expectations but this one even exceeded them. The previous decade had "The Wailing" that had tremendous cultural importance in Korean horror genre, and I am calling "Exhuma" to be this decade's "The Wailing."
It's so unnecessary to make two entries of "Death's Game" on Mydramalist (part 1 and 2 respectively). Just as "You" season 4's part 1 and 2 counts as season 4 in a whole, there's no need to split this TV show into two pages. Part 2 is NOT season 2. So many western TV shows used to have mid-season finale then have a break for a month or longer then continue. Those season's halves were counted as one season together.

Other than that, 9/10 from me.
