I actually liked this drama. It's a solid 8/10 for me. I liked the FL, she is young, inexperienced, but smart, and not a pushover. ML is evolving and loves FL.

This drama is not as well done as Yanxi palace and Love like Galaxy. I think because the secondary cast is not great at all (Crown Prince, Xue family especially Xue Shu and dowager, other girls who studied with the princess, etc). Their performances are mediocre at best. I believe it's the director's fault. This drama has great ratings only because the 3 MLs and Bai Lu did absolutely everything possible to save it.

well, that was boring :( I love Park Bo Young, and this drama doesn't do justice to her acting skills.

Agree, she should have changed. 3 years is a long time to continue having a grudge against a person she cared about. Instead of the "brother" we should have seen her redemption story

Exactly! He went through her stupid test, was helping her to fight against his family, and was ready to jump into the fire to save her. But as soon as Yang's family fell, he was suddenly not good enough. It's like they changed writers by the end :(

Well, 5th sister's arch is a huge disappointment. I enjoyed this drama so much until the last 5 episodes. Seems like they forgot that Li sisters are supposed to be smart and resourceful, not rash, stubborn, and prone to violence. Why make her character so unappealing? While in the beginning YX was spoiled and immature, by the end he had a huge character growth. However till the end she belittled him, berated him, bossed him around, and constantly threatened to beat him. How is it a perfect match?

Also the sudden appearance of the brother made this cute wonderful show to turn into a soap opera.

It's a very good drama. The plot is not unique, actually strongly reminded me of the The Story of Pearl Girl. So many similarities. However, it's very well acted, the costumes are beautiful, the make-up is interesting. I did not like that leads relationship was not cleared up by the last episode. He clearly loves her, but she treats him as a best friend instead of husband? Is there an extra episode somewhere about them as a couple?

they do not focus on making men miserable, they are trying to help the 1st sister. 2nd and 3rd sisters relationships are great at the moment and I believe they will stay this way. Since there are 10 main characters its hard to give WXY enough screen time, but he is doing an awesome job. 2nd and 1st husbands are growing on me too.

She is the best chinese actress! She creates unbelievable chemistry with all her MLs. As suggested try Hidden Love (modern) , Love Like the Galaxy (historical);. I also love her in Who rules the World and Female Student Arrives at the Imperial College. There are many more and she shines in all of them, but these 4 are my favorite of hers

I sometimes think that people judge dramas based on previews, and not actually watching the show which is wonderful! Smart, funny, witty! Each main character has a distinct personality with both virtues and flaws (not a cardboard prince on a white horse or damsel in distress cutouts).
