There is a major emotional infidelity from Fl's side.I am amazed at how many people try justifies Fl's cheating…
I skimp through your reply (too many words) - she told him NO about marriage before she realized she liked the pharmacist. She was not satisfied with the relationship for a while, was afraid to let go for many reasons (stability, parental disapproval, social norm, etc). Feelings for the new guy just gave her a push to end the dead relationship. And honestly - emotional cheating is a bull crap
"One Spring Night" is such a gem of a K-drama! The chemistry between the leads is off the charts, making every moment between them feel real and heartfelt. What I really appreciate is how grounded and honest the story feels. It’s a realistic portrayal of relationships. It doesn’t shy away from addressing challenges like family dynamics and societal judgment, making the story relatable. The pacing allows viewers to fully immerse themselves in the characters' development, leading to a satisfying conclusion. Visually, it’s lovely with soft, dreamy cinematography, and the music fits perfectly, enhancing those emotional scenes.

NO, she was very clear with her boyfriend of 4 years that she wants to break up. She told him multiple times before acting up on her feeling to another guy. I guess it has something to do with how the Korean society works, apparently if a woman wants to break up, and tell the guy not once, not twice, but multiple times, then goes to his family to tell the same thing, AND to her parents, it's still not enough.

I did not see the infidelity from FL. She told her previous boyfriend MULTIPLE times that she wanted to break up. He ignored her or rather thought she was acting up. It was him being a prick and not letting go NOT because he loved her, but because he couldn't lose her to another guy.
watched until ep8 but the show am getting really bored. does it get any better?
it's very one-tone, they are best friends, he loves her, she loves him, and they both have good jobs, minimal to no complications. Both leads are good actors, but the script is juvenile
I enjoy Tan Song Yun's dramas, and her chemistry with Xu Kai is fantastic. However, I found the corporate plot a bit boring, so I ended up skipping through a lot of it. Like many modern Chinese dramas, I think it could benefit from some heavy editing. It would have been perfect as a 24-episode series.
is it really on par with goblin.... there haven't been anymore dramas like those gems anymore....
You are right, Goblin is unique, and perfect. Lovely Runner is a much simpler time traveling romcom. But the main theme of what you are willing to sacrifice to keep the person you love alive and the three possibilities of their storyline touched me. The acting is so endearing! Emotionally, it reminded me how I felt when I was watching Goblin for the first time.
I haven't had such a rollercoaster of emotions since the Golin. I loved everything about this drama. Great story, incredible acting from both leads. OSTs are wonderful too. HIghly recommend for people who like to watch beautiful love stories
I liked this show. It's a slow burn but doesn't disappoint. Lots of romance, mature couple carrying about each other. It would have been 10/10 but the way it's cut makes it a little weird. I usually do not mind back and forth stories, but at some point, all the back story should have been done and the last few episodes should have been focused on the present time. 8.5/10 for me

I finally watched this drama. Probably the last one in the world :-) He is very handsome, the North Korean five are delightful, and she is a good actress. But it's not 10/10. Perhaps my expectations were very high.
I just finished watching it. It was not horrible, but full of cliches and overall disappointing. I think that the ML is the only reason to watch this drama. His character is well developed and his acting is decent. He carries the FL storyline and his sister's storyline. FL's best friend is immature, annoying, and mean. The rest of the cast is flat. It would have been much better if instead of 45 episodes they would cut unnecessary (and often ridiculous) plot scenes and made it a solid 24-episode rom-com.
So, I liked the premise of the drama, an artist who realized his mistake in drawing a good cop and getting him…
This show focuses on detective part of the story. It doesn't tell us the fate of each criminal. Each case will be tried in court and the judge and jury will decide if they end up in jail or not.
