Nope, it is really based on a novel 洁身自爱 (To Love Oneself) by Wei Zai (未再) as said by SP-427 just that the author has changed some parts (to jewelry company) of the original story to fit this drama. Because of You is shown as related content because they are both about Chinese traditional art - One is of the clothing and the other of the jewelry.
