The very last part in the final episode, when he tied up Wen Xiao and was walking out in the hallway, he paused, lean against the pole, than slowly sliding down to ground, with his hand shaking in a fist, crying, than slapping himself real hard on the face, before completely leaving, that sent chills to my heart! I literally felt pain in my heart!!! My heart felt so heavy and it hurt so much for him. I just cried and cried. Now that’s what I call acting! Neo is seriously so talented. His micro expression is so well articulated. The small extra body movements he makes here and there does not go unnoticed. It kinda make me question some of the other idol that I really like, like do I actually like them because they’re pretty to watch or because they’re good actors. In this case, for Neo, it’s both! He’s pretty to look at and he’s such a talented actor.
I just finished this and wow! I want to start off by saying Neo as Zhao Yuan Zhou was phenomenal! He perfect that character to the dot. I watched Neo in a girl like me and back from brink and really didn’t care for it, but he totally got me here! I am a HUGE fan now and a bit obsessed with him too. Hehe.
I am a bit traumatized, ZYZ had a very traumatic, and unfair life. He was depressed and suicidal and I just hope and hope that things were going to get better. Let’s just say my heart was very heavy and super heartbroken at the end of this. I cried and I can’t stop thinking about him and I feel like the writer did unjust to him 😢. When he was sad and in pain, I felt every bit of that to my bone.
Overall I enjoy the drama a lot, it was about love, friendships, forgiveness, growing and accepting. It also have a lot of comedic relief moments to help balance out the dark side of it. And the OST was sooo good! Had to download it to my Spotify.

Omg same here! I saw their edits on TikTok and was like what is this about, started the drama and right away I was hooked on their story! I love the complexity of their relationship and character. I watched the second FL in other dramas and she freaken nailed this role! Her other roles, she’s like this sweet, innocent character but this one tops it all! Her and Ryan Cheng is my new favorite!

I know the romance for the 2nd cp was toxic but I couldn’t get enough of it! I love every interactions between them. You can tell SJ really loves her but there are boundaries he will not compromise no matter what and for anyone. SGQ I know she loves him too but her love for him is different from his love for her. She will do anything for revenge, even if that means she’ll sacrifice and betrays her love ones. It’s an undeniable attractions.
