I seriously feel like we had the same exact childhood! Same here! Huge fan of princess Pearl, I absolutely adore and love romance in the rain, it was a really good drama but I never got used to Alec and Ruby as a couple in romance in the rain. It was super awkward for me and I never shipped them even at the very end. It just didn’t feel right at all.
Even in my heroic husband, where the FL and ML were brother and sister in joy of life and I thought it was so awkward to make them husband and wife in MHH. I couldn’t even watch it cuz I was so weirded out by it.
I know in the end of the day they are actors and actresses and that’s what their job is, is to act. But I feel like some roles and characters really made an impact on you and touches you in a way where it stays with you forever, it almost feels like you have a bond and connection with that character and they resonate with you. So it’s hard to separate that character from the actor because you see that character in the actor! Not sure if that even make sense or im just going on about nothing lol. Bit hopefully it made some sense.
Anyways, yes when they confirm Leo and Luis, to me, it feels like ASun is cheating on Changge with her sister!! And I’m not okay with this! And yes I’m having a very difficult time separating them away from their characters.

Omg a thought just came to my mind…the director was obviously trying to get creative with how Asun was showing affection to Changge since he couldn’t kiss her…what if they would have just showed us his right hand slowing lifting up to Changge face, where the mole is, gently and softly caressing her mole with his fingers and while doing so, with a soft smile on Sun’s face and his eyes starring deep into her eyes??
I wanna say that yesterday just wasn’t the best night ever for me, I was not feeling it but thanks to all of you TLB lovers and GUSUN lovers, I’m feeling much better now! I know some of us weren’t exactly very positive over the news, but you guys turn that around quickly :)
